This day in age we have heard so many rumors of how factory slaughter cattle farms are actually ran.
Many people assume all beef cattle are kept outside in fields. But, this is not always the case. This

house. In every phase of development within a factory slaughter farm, animals suffer needless changes
and restricted, narrowed living conditions. Not only are the animals being affected by diseases or
stress, but we too are being affected just as much. When the farms dump fesses on lands it will make
its way into our water and air supply leaving behind pesticides and toxins affecting our immune
systems. Scientists have linked animal stress to problems with food quality and safety (Animal

illness, the same circumstances can happen to an animal when it is subjected to stress and pain, the

I will be providing information from three articles. The three articles I have chosen are about the
shooter of the Las Vegas shooting on the country music festival that happened on the night of October
1, 2017. From what we have been told by the media, the shooting that happened during the concert
was from the Mandalay Bay Hotel window just across the street from the concert. The aftereffects of
the concert left about 500 people injured and almost 60 people killed, which includes himself. The
shooting has affected everyone in the United States because almost everyone is scared that it was a
terrorist attack and that there will be more closer to their homes. Some people think the shooter was

A Defense of Peter Singer s Famine Relief Argument In his paper Famine affluence and morality ,
Peter Singer sought to provide response to a significant moral question: Is it morally permissible to
not donate to famine? Singer argued that we are morally obligated to famine relief. I am deeply
convinced by his argument. In this paper, I shall examine two significant objections to singer s
argument and explain why they would ultimately fail. Singer s original argument takes the following
form:
(P1) Suffering and death from lack of food, shelter and medical care are bad
(P2) If we can prevent something bad from happening without sacrificing anything of comparable
moral importance, then we are morally obligated to do so.
(P3) Death caused by famine is something bad that happens that we can prevent without sacrificing
anything of comparable moral importance (namely, by donating to famine relief).
(C) Therefore, we ought to donate to famine relief. Singer assumed premise 1 to be undoubtedly true,
