• Stimulus Money from the Federal
  Government.
• Money given to select districts from
  Minnesota Department of Education, based
  on Free and Reduced Lunch numbers.
How did we get the idea?

• Met with Stakeholders in October 2009.
• Proposed idea to provide professional
  development.
• Wrote grant for funding from January 1,
  2010 through June 30, 2011.
About Our Program

• In the process of alignment with ISTE
  NETS•T.
• ISTE is the professional organization of
  Educational Technology.
NETS•T

• 5 Standards- with 20 benchmarks (4 per
  standard).
• Each standard, discusses different topics
  within Ed Tech.
• Alignment to the highest standard receives
  the “Seal of Alignment”
