The student created a newspaper front cover and double page spread for their media studies coursework. They researched real newspaper examples online and from print copies to inform their designs and layouts. Feedback was gathered through a questionnaire to understand what local readers want in terms of content, price, and design of local newspapers. Various digital tools and technologies were used at different stages of the project, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Paintshop, digital cameras, and Blogger to construct, research, plan, and evaluate their media product.
