WHAT IS EVALUATION 3?
What have you learned from your audience feedback?
This simply meaning that in order for our media products to be
successful, we need to be very audience based and audience
specific to show their needs and what they’re interested in.
This linking to the question of evaluation 3 – What have you
learned from your audience feedback? What did you do to
improve from your audience feedback and what were the
audiences likes and dislikes of the product.
WHAT WE NEED TO GET FEEDBACK
FOR..
Initial Ideas
Music Video Rough Cuts (all of them)
Digipak (Rough Cuts)
Magazine Advert (First Drafts etc)
Final Version (Of all three different aspects of the coursework)
This audience feedback should come in the form of a mixture of the
following:
Primary Target Audience.
Secondary Audience.
Wider Audience (Twitter/Social Media)
This feedback must also comprise of videos, screenshots and other means of
feedback.
PLAN – MAGAZINE MUSIC ADVERT
For the Magazine music adverts.
Collect a group of people from the primary audience and place in
front of them our drafts for the Magazine music advert. This will be
filmed and captured all of the audiences reactions, what ones they
like and dislike, improvements.
This can then determined what magazine music advert we use as it is
necessary to use what the audience like best as they potentially would
be the ones buying the product.
This being based on the primary audience.
PLAN – DIGI PACK
For the Digi pack, so far we have created 3 drafts. These will be
shown to our primary and secondary audience in order to get
feedback on which one we should use and also to see how we can
improve.
The way in which I am going to conduct the feedback is though
setting up a mini focus group and presenting all 3 Digi packs on a
PowerPoint where the audience can then discuss and present me their
feedback.
I personally feel this is a good way to communicate to the audience as
it allows me to ask questions and get input from the target audience
themselves.
For the evaluation, this will also be presented through filming and in
a short video.
PLAN – MUSIC VIDEO
The primary, secondary and wider audience will all see the video, this
being all 4 rough cuts and the final edit. Where I can gather all of the
feedback for the video, weather or not the new edits are better and
how It could be improved.
I will also input our teachers blog check improvements for the video
so we can show the progress of which we took in order to make the
music video better.
This will also be filmed so I can really interact with the atmosphere
and the reactions I receive for the video feedback.
PLAN – SOCIAL MEDIA
In terms of the feedback for the social media, this will be where I get
the secondary and wider audience to view our social media of
YouTube, instagram and twitter and give us their opinion of how they
feel we communicate to the audience and what we could be doing
better.
This will be done via email or just one to one where I will collect all
feedback and present this via a Prezi or voki.
PLAN - FEEDBACK
General feedback will also be asked to see what has been good and
what could be done better to see what we can change.
The feedback will be done as primary audience being; 16-19 year
olds.
Secondary audience being; 20-30 year olds.
Wider audience being young adults who use social media a lot, also
including the primary and secondary audience of males and females.

  • 2. WHAT IS EVALUATION 3? What have you learned from your audience feedback? This simply meaning that in order for our media products to be successful, we need to be very audience based and audience specific to show their needs and what they’re interested in. This linking to the question of evaluation 3 – What have you learned from your audience feedback? What did you do to improve from your audience feedback and what were the audiences likes and dislikes of the product.
  • 3. WHAT WE NEED TO GET FEEDBACK FOR.. Initial Ideas Music Video Rough Cuts (all of them) Digipak (Rough Cuts) Magazine Advert (First Drafts etc) Final Version (Of all three different aspects of the coursework) This audience feedback should come in the form of a mixture of the following: Primary Target Audience. Secondary Audience. Wider Audience (Twitter/Social Media) This feedback must also comprise of videos, screenshots and other means of feedback.
  • 4. PLAN – MAGAZINE MUSIC ADVERT For the Magazine music adverts. Collect a group of people from the primary audience and place in front of them our drafts for the Magazine music advert. This will be filmed and captured all of the audiences reactions, what ones they like and dislike, improvements. This can then determined what magazine music advert we use as it is necessary to use what the audience like best as they potentially would be the ones buying the product. This being based on the primary audience.
  • 5. PLAN – DIGI PACK For the Digi pack, so far we have created 3 drafts. These will be shown to our primary and secondary audience in order to get feedback on which one we should use and also to see how we can improve. The way in which I am going to conduct the feedback is though setting up a mini focus group and presenting all 3 Digi packs on a PowerPoint where the audience can then discuss and present me their feedback. I personally feel this is a good way to communicate to the audience as it allows me to ask questions and get input from the target audience themselves. For the evaluation, this will also be presented through filming and in a short video.
  • 6. PLAN – MUSIC VIDEO The primary, secondary and wider audience will all see the video, this being all 4 rough cuts and the final edit. Where I can gather all of the feedback for the video, weather or not the new edits are better and how It could be improved. I will also input our teachers blog check improvements for the video so we can show the progress of which we took in order to make the music video better. This will also be filmed so I can really interact with the atmosphere and the reactions I receive for the video feedback.
  • 7. PLAN – SOCIAL MEDIA In terms of the feedback for the social media, this will be where I get the secondary and wider audience to view our social media of YouTube, instagram and twitter and give us their opinion of how they feel we communicate to the audience and what we could be doing better. This will be done via email or just one to one where I will collect all feedback and present this via a Prezi or voki.
  • 8. PLAN - FEEDBACK General feedback will also be asked to see what has been good and what could be done better to see what we can change. The feedback will be done as primary audience being; 16-19 year olds. Secondary audience being; 20-30 year olds. Wider audience being young adults who use social media a lot, also including the primary and secondary audience of males and females.
