Max created a music video project in Adobe Premier Pro. He filmed scenes with actors and added markers to the timeline corresponding to parts of the song. Some scenes needed to be refilmed to avoid depicting recreational drug use. Max added effects like lens flare and warp stabilizer. He completed the first draft, then tweaked it and added new footage. The final video was uploaded to YouTube. Max's partner Jake created a digital album cover and magazine ad in Photoshop to accompany the video.

Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.

How to Build a Module in Odoo 17 Using the Scaffold MethodCeline George
Odoo provides an option for creating a module by using a single line command. By using this command the user can make a whole structure of a module. It is very easy for a beginner to make a module. There is no need to make each file manually. This slide will show how to create a module using the scaffold method.
2. LOG ENTRY 1:
I Created a new project in Adobe Premier Pro and added the song. I will be using
onto the Sequence.
3. LOG ENTRY 2:
In this lesson I began adding markers onto my sequence. I added a marker for
each dynamic of the song in which something happened such as the music
calming down or reaching a climax. I did this by listening to the whole song and
adding a marker on each section.
Next, In my smartphone In the notes section I added the time signatures of each
marker and with my perception of how the narrative would play out with the song,
in my head I paired what would be happening in the song with what would be
happening in the narrative.
4. LOG ENTRY 3:
Next I contacted the people who had agreed to act in my video via the Facebook
messenger app on my phone and we organised a date in which we could film
and agreed that this Saturday and Sunday we will be filming the majority of the
scenes. We also discussed any possible things we could do to make the video
more interesting.
5. LOG ENTRY 4:
FILMING: At the weekend I filmed all the footage I needed and stored it in the SD
card that was inside the camera at the time. I used my home laptop to export the
files from the SD card onto a USB so that I could access the files at school easily.
Filming with my actors was fairly easy as they were very co operative and two of
my actors, Maddy and Luscia had acting experience which was very beneficial. I
Filmed on a Nikon D550 DSLR camera and Used a tripod for steady shots and a
bicycle light for artificial lighting. In shots which needed it. We also chose to use
strobe light apps on our phones to create the party/rave atmosphere for the
scenes within the party and also bought alcoholic beverages as props to build up
the sense of Mise En scene.
6. LOG ENTRY 5:
In todays lesson I began piecing together my footage. I did this by importing it
into my project using the media browser in Adobe Premier Pro.
I then began dragging and dropping the footage onto the sequence. As I was
doing this I referred to the notes that I had made in my phone outlining what
footage should go where in the song.
7. LOG ENTRY 6:
In this lesson I carried on piecing the footage together. I made sure to correct the
footage so that it flows nicely to the music. I did this by making sure the cuts to
the next shot are at the exact end of the bar. At the end of the lesson I have
completed at least 50% of my video.
8. LOG ENTRY 7:
Today I crafted an effective shot which I managed to pull off using the opacity
settings of 2 sets of footage then I layered them on top of each other on different
tracks in the sequence and lowered the opacity of one of the clips. Below is the
finished product and the two separate clips.
9. LOG ENTRY 8:
Today I added lens flare to this clip in order to give it more realism and an effective
look. It also works due to the fact that it is a sunny atmosphere outside of the
house. I did this through the effects tab and chose to add the ‘Lens flare’ effect onto
my project by dragging and dropping it onto this clip.
10. LOG ENTRY 9:
Today I managed to create an effect using the lens flare. However I did not use this
effect for its preferred purpose, I chose to use it as a flash effect by enhancing the
lens flares brightness within about half a second to replicate a flash on the screen. I
did this using key frame automation.
11. LOG ENTRY 10:
First draft finished and rendered and uploaded to YouTube.
In todays lesson I finished the first draft of my music video. I added and arranged
all the footage I needed in order to complete the project.
However, after talking with my teacher, he outlined the fact that my video contains a
scene in which the protagonist is taking a pill in order to hallucinate which is
recreational drug use. Therefor I am condoning the use of drugs which would
therefor make my video an 18 certificate and would mean it’s not eligible for
marking.
I conversed with my teacher and partner and decided it would be a better idea if
instead of the protagonist taking the drugs in his flashback, he could maybe get his
drink spiked at a party, which would mean the video no longer condones the use of
drugs, but outlines the dangers which young people of today could be exposed to.
12. LOG ENTRY 11:
Filming session 3: I met up with my friend Tom who plays the main character in my
video a few nights ago.
We discussed the issue with my music video and decided that we should film and
then we proceeded to film the new footage at my house. We used the strobe light
app again on my phone in order to replicate the party effect and placed alcohol on
the table.
I chose to take part in the video myself as the character who maliciously spikes the
protagonists drink. I did this by setting up the camera on the tripod facing the
designated shot then I pressed record and made my way round the to the entrance
of my dining room where the shots is actually mean to start. We did this a couple pf
times and managed to capture some of the best shots (in my opinion) in the whole
video.
13. LOG ENTRY 12:
In todays lesson I added the new footage to the Premier Pro project and made sure
it fit in effectively. I did this the same way as before but this time deleting the old
footage and adding the new footage in it’s designated areas.
This was a slightly tedious process but was worth it in the long run as the video
turned out to be even more effective.
14. LOG ENTRY 13:
I noticed various different shots were slightly bumpy when I didn’t want them to be
so I added a warp stabilizer effect to some of the clips which in turn makes them
more focused and stabilises the image. This effect is available in the effects tab and
I found out about it by watching informative YouTube videos.
15. LOG ENTRY 14:
This lesson I tweaked some finishing touches to make sure the video is fluent and
works well in relation to the song.
Finally my music video was finished and It was ready to be uploaded onto YouTube
and my blog. In order to retain the quality I rendered the footage in Adobe Premier
Pro by selecting the ‘Sequence’ tab, and then clicking ‘Render entire work space’.
Rendering alters the file type which allows the video file to be flexible if the user
wants to upload it to websites such as YouTube.com or Vimeo as examples.
I then uploaded my music video to YouTube and embedded it into a blogger post
and also published it onto my year 13 A2 Media blog.
16. LOG ENTRY 15:
Next me and my partner Jake Cook agreed on a suitable date for taking pictures
regarding our digipak album and our magazine advertisement. We communicated
via WhatsApp messenger and agreed that we should meet in Town with a few of
Jakes friends that had agreed to be in the Photographs.
17. LOG ENTRY 16:
As I produced the whole of the Music video, me and Jake agreed that he would be
the one producing the Digipak and Magazine advertisement.
Today Jake worked on producing the productions in Adobe Photoshop. I helped
Jake by giving inputs on what we agreed looked best just to give him a second
opinion on his work.
18. LOG ENTRY 17:
Jake has now finished the Digipak and Magazine advertisement and sent it to me
via email so that I can embed it into a blogger post and upload it onto my blog
along with the music video and other tasks.
