based on our target audience’s expectations
of the music genre that we are working in
(electronic). The questions conducted were
to find out about what people think about

about music videos in general. Also
questions about themselves to understand
who our target audience is.
The fist two questions are questions about
the audience to highlight what type of
people are our audience. The questions
about their sex and age help us know who
to aim the video at, because our audience is
mainly males and females and young this is
useful and suited for our preferred genre.
3. For the next question we asked
how they access music videos
and watch them. This was done
so we can best promote our
music video the way the watch
them. Youtube gained the most
answers as the modern way out
of the other options is more
popular among the youth.
The next question was based on
the audiences view on our chosen
genre. More people said ‘yes’
they do buy or listen to songs
form the electronic genre.
4. We next had to understand what
the audience expects to see in a
electronic music video. This
involved asking our audience
what setting they expect the video
to be set out of the given options.
The option with most votes was
the club shortly followed by a
urban area.
