This paper introduces a low complexity algorithm for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems using a hybrid segmentation scheme. By integrating pseudo-random and interleaving cosine wave shape approaches, the proposed method effectively diminishes PAPR while significantly reducing computational complexity compared to traditional partial transmit sequence (PTS) techniques. The findings suggest that this new method maintains performance without the drawbacks associated with higher complexity algorithms.
