This document discusses the challenges of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems, which affects signal quality and transmitter efficiency. It evaluates various PAPR reduction techniques, including amplitude clipping, selected level mapping (SLM), and partial transmit sequence (PTS), and analyzes their performance through simulations. A comparative study highlights the advantages and disadvantages of each technique based on system requirements, emphasizing the need for careful selection to optimize PAPR reduction.
