The document evaluates high mobility channel estimation techniques for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, particularly under conditions of multipath fading and Doppler shifts. It compares the performance of least square (LS) and linear minimum mean square (LMMSE) estimation methods using Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) across various channel models and Doppler frequencies. Results indicate that while LMMSE generally outperforms LS, the use of DFT-based methods can provide significant improvements, especially in high mobility environments.
