The Pros And Cons Of Iran A Threat To National Security
Iran A Threat to National Security Iran has been living with U. S. sanctions since 1979, hostages were
held at the U. S. Embassy in Tehran. For more than thirty (30) years the United States has placed
sanctions against Iran for international terrorism. The current sanctions against Iran date from as far
back as 2006, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 1737 and imposed sanctions after Iran
refused to suspend its uranium enrichment program (Levs, 2012). On July 14, 2015, the Joint
Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) known as the Iran nuclear deal was passed, it is an
international agreement on the nuclear program of Iran. The JCPOA is between Iran and China,

The EU and the additional countries that are involved in the Iran deal, as well as President Trump s
security council are in support of signing and extending another 120 days. Hopefully, this will allow
cooler heads to prevail and allow democracy to work. The responsibility of the President and
Congress is to set policies to keep us safe. To provide funding to equip and train a sound military. As
well as have a strong relationship with our allies. Our state and local governments responsibilities in
insuring our national securities is to use the state and local funding to provide citizens with a national
guard and police force, to also establish a legal system, and adhere to the laws. Iran may not be a
direct threat. However, they are a threat to one of our longest standing allies. The protesting towards
the Islamic government in Iran due to the excessive spending to support Syria and organizations such
as, Hezbollah. The EU plus the additional countries included in the Iran deal are hopeful that President
Trump will sign to extend the deal. In the event this does not occur, we could be looking at war
against Israel and Iran opening their nuclear program. Our government responsibilities from the
federal level to local is to protect and provide.

The New Deal Policies By Franklin D. Roosevelt
The New Deal policies were created by Franklin D. Roosevelt and his people who are known as the
New Dealers . They were created in hopes that they would bring relief, recovery, and reform to
America and help bring America out of the depression. This flawed plan that many historians believe
was largely a success brought America another rescission and caused the unemployment rate to rise.
To believe that the New Deal was largely a success is to overlook its many failures and negative
impact on America. From the failure of the NRA to the hostile reactions of many critics to the fact that
unemployment rose, and the discrimination towards women and blacks it is clear that this New Deal
was far from a success and was indeed very flawed.
The National Recovery Administration (NRA) was one of the many administrations that were initiated
during the New Deal. This administration was established to help create jobs, increase consumer
buying power, and to help create minimum wage. The NRA created a blanket code that would make
companies have a minimum wage and maximum work hours and was claimed to raise consumer
purchasing power and increase employment. These codes were poorly written and had no enforcement
mechanisms and many employers ignored them. Many businesses slanted their NRA codes to provide
higher profits rather than the better wages for labor and lower prices for consumers that the
cooperative design called for. The NRA was ran by federal officials with no prior

Factors Affecting Human Development During Phases Of...
The process of nondisjunction can occur in human development during phases in meiosis and mitosis.
The irregularity results in an abnormal amount of chromosomes in the produced cells and causes
alterations in those who are affected. Nondisjunctional consequences can be seen in these five
examples of genetic inheritance conditions discussed in this paper: Down syndrome, Patau s
syndrome, Edward s syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, and Turner s syndrome. The Mendelian
principles of genetics developed by Gregor Mendel include the patterns of autosomal recessive and
autosomal dominant. Autosomal dominant and recessive inheritance patterns can cause disorders such

As a result, there are an extra amount or not enough sets of chromosomes in the cells created which
causes disorders in those affected. The effects of nondisjunction include the following diseases: Down
syndrome, Patau s syndrome, Edward s syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, and Turner s syndrome.
Mendelian and non Mendelian inheritance patterns determine how certain traits are passed on to the
next generation. Mendelian patterns are autosomal dominant inheritance, which causes Marfan
syndrome and Huntington disease, and autosomal recessive inheritance, which causes cystic fibrosis
and sickle cell disease. Non Mendelian patterns of inheritance include polygenic and mitochondrial
inheritance. Polygenic inheritance is seen in the inheritance of traits like skin color and height and can
cause heart diseases and cancer. In mitochondrial inheritance, also known as maternal inheritance,
DNA in the mitochondria is passed down primarily from the mother. This form of inheritance causes
some disorders like Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy and Kearns Sayre syndrome may occur.
Epigenetic inheritance is an unusual process in which epigenetic tags created by a parent s experience
can be passed on to their offspring.
Nondisjunction describes the process in which the chromosomes of a cell do not divide in the correct
manner during meiosis and mitosis. The abnormality occur in one of three ways due to the incorrect

Patriarchy In India
All over the world, 8th March is celebrated as International Women s Day. In fact, gender equality is
proclaimed as fundamental right by the United Nations Charter in 1945. However, the status of
women is not at par with that of men in India. Ages have come and go, but the plight of women is not
likely to change. From aeons, time has helplessly watched excesses done on women in the form of
discrimination, oppression, exploitation, degradation, and humiliation etc. gender based discrimination
represents the ugly face of the society. This is global issue with varying degrees and India is not an
exception to it, especially Haryana where it s a patriarchy society.
Patriarchy is social organization has been the dominant reality to define the nature of gender relations
in human society that rendered it male centric in most parts of the world since the dawn of human
civilization. Much has changed since the primitive times but the male dominated ethos still holds
sway. In spite of all the advances made in the field of woman emancipation, male hegemony is still the
dominant reality.1
Haryana is primarily an agrarian society and its towns too are like villages with modern facilities. In
male dominated social ethos, the quest for a male child is incessant while the female child is treated as
a curse. Haryana folklore crudely depicts female child as highly unwanted. The mindset is reflected in
the declining social status of women in Haryana.2

NCAAArgument Essay
It s shaping up to be a trying year for the NCAA as two former athletes have come forward in the past
week and filed a class action lawsuit against them for academic fraud in its members schools athletic
programs. While some think this couldn t get worse, from the numerous unacknowledged complaints
from over the last century, a large number of the student athletes on the receiving end of less than
stellar educations were African American student athletes especially in revenue producing sports like
basketball and football.
The two athletes that have come to the front line of this debacle are former University of North
Carolina (UNC) football player, Devon Ramsay and basketball player Rashanda McCants. If that last
name sounds familiar, it should she s the sister of the former men s basketball star Rashad McCants of
the Tar Heels and was drafted 14th overall his first NBA by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mr.
McCants stands by his sister s lawsuit and is even testifying against not only the NCAA, but also his
alma mater. This isn t the first time Mr. McCants has put up a red flag against his old college; in early
June of 2014 he participated in an interview where he stated that he took bogus classes and had tutors
write his homework. His claims were shot down by all of his other teammates from the 2005 team but

Gloucester and Lear s Realizations of the Importances in Life
Gloucester and Lear s Realizations of the Importance s in Life In William Shakespeare s King Lear,
Gloucester and Lear both experience similar situations in which their children cause them to suffer
greatly: The former suffers from blindness and the latter slips from reality into a state of madness. It is
not until Act 4, scene 6 that they come to the realization of the importances in life; such as true love
for and from a child. Gloucester is convinced by his illegitimate son Edmund that his legitimate son
Edgar cannot be trusted, resulting in the banishment of Edgar. King Lear believes the false
protestations of love his two elder daughters, Goneril and Regan sell to him; meanwhile, his youngest
daughter Cordelia is the only daughter ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This scene shows Gloucester that his fate is in the hands of the Gods and they will take his life only
when it is his time to die and that he must continue his life journey to find out more about himself.
During this discovery, Gloucester s loyal son is with him, in disguise. Edgar acts as his guide but he
does not reveal himself to his father in this scene because it would interfere with Gloucester s
recovery.
Act 4, scene 6 displays Gloucester s sorrow for misjudging his children and the remorse he feels
towards Edgar. This scene leads into Edgar revealing himself to his father. After Edgar s confession,
Gloucester immediately dies from joy and grief. Even though death is the end result for Gloucester, he
is able to make peace with his son before he dies. It is tragic that Gloucester did not come to the
realization that his son was with him for a long while and that Edgar did not reveal himself sooner, but
it is better late than never to be reunited with loving children. Now that Gloucester has seen his
forgiving son again, which is very important to Gloucester, the Gods find it an appropriate time to take
his life: Gloucester has accomplished what he needed to. Similar to Gloucester, Act 4, scene 6 leads
into Lear making a significant discovery of his life: he is not perfect. In this scene, Lear experiences
madness but is

Albert Einstein The Miracle Mind By Tabatha Yeatts
I read the biography, Albert Einstein The Miracle Mind by Tabatha Yeatts. Einstein was born on
March 14,1879 in Ulm, Germany. He died on April 18, 1955 in Princeton, NJ. Einstein is famous for
his equation E = m c2. In this equation E represents the units of energy, m represents the units of mass,
and c 2 is the speed of light squared, or multiplied by itself according to Dictionary.com.This is one of
Einstein s most remembered accomplishments. Einstein s equation, E = m c2 , is one of his many
accomplishments. He has many more though. For example he was offered the presidency of Israel.
Though he did decline. Another one of his astonishing achievements is that he solved the riddle of the
photoelectric effect. Albert Einstein was awarded ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was also a late talker. Maja, Einstein s little sister, believed that his repetition was a reflection of
the thoroughness of his thinking. This will later lead to many of his astounding performances. Such as,
he provided empirical evidence for the atomic theory. He also enabled the determination of Avogadro
s number and therefore the size of molecules. Einstein was the one who answered the basic question,
why is the sky blue and he proposed the general theory of relativity. He was rewarded with the Copley
Medal, Max Planck Medal, Franklin Medal, Matteucci Medal, and the Gold Medal of the Royal
Astronomical Society. My book, Albert Einstein The Miracle Mind, was very good for a book report.
If you want to know about Albert Einstein I would recommend this book. My favorite part about the
book was the time line and the 1st chapter. The time line is perfect for paragraphs 2 and 3. It has all his
accomplishments so you don t have to go look them back up. Chapter 1 is one of my favorite parts
because I love hearing about people s childhoods, also because it is so descriptive. It will tell everyone
s thinking. Such as when the book said Einstein was a slow talker it told his sisters, parents, and maids

Anger In The Manciple s Tale By Geoffrey Chaucer
History has a way of repeating itself. Mistakes made by earlier civilizations are re made in modern
day. It is true that people learn from their mistakes, but it is what they are ignorant of that gets
repeated. If people knew something was morally wrong, they would avoid doing it. If they were raised
to believe it was right, they would still do it, thinking they are doing right. Not only bad things have a
reincarnation in the future, but good things as well. Even a manner of which a society of the past acts
can be mirrored in the modern world. Authors have studied these occurrences and applied them in
their works. One such author is Geoffrey Chaucer who, in his work, The Canterbury Tales, has
provided tales such as The Parson s Tale , The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first of the two characters in the tale is Constance, the religious one. It is said that she is the mirror
of all courtesy,/Her heart a chamber of true holiness,/ Her hand a ministration of largess (Chaucer, The
Man of Law s Tale , line 166 168). She is the model of a virtuous being. She has absolute trust in God,
and she teaches other to do the same. She practices being loyal to the law as well as her faith. She is
exemplified as a materially poor person but spiritually rich. She can resist temptation because she
looks forward to a better life in Heaven. Through hard times and good times, she remains always
faithful to God, and God always protects her. She can most accurately be related to a modern day
monk. They have no money, for they have taken a vow of poverty, but they remain spiritually rich.
Being spiritually rich means they leave behind family, possessions, and worldly position, and even the
outer marks of personal identity, symbolized by hair, beard, and wardrobe (Bhikkhu Bodhi). They
trust in God, and are strong followers of their faith, like Constance. Since The monastic lifestyle
places the monk in dependence on the generosity and kindness of others , when there is no one around
to provide the monk with generosity, their only option is to trust in God. They still follow the official
laws, but

Interplay Of Conflict And Deception In Interpersonal...
Two parts of interpersonal communication go hand in hand are conflict and deception. One can lead to
the other and vice versa. Most people try to avoid both conflict and deception, but people must realize
that they have benefits and are a reality in everyday interactions. The interplay of conflict and
deception specifically harnessed my attention over the past few chapters. Interpersonal conflict is an
expressed struggle between two interdependent parties who perceive incompatible goals, scarce
resources, and interference from the other party in achieving their goals (Floyd, 2011, p. 350). To fully
understand conflict, the definition can be broken down further. As Kory Floyd (2011) describes,
conflict is an expressed struggle. A conflict is not fully present until one party s feelings are aware to
the other party. This can be done through both verbal and nonverbal behaviors. Conflict occurs
between interdependent parties as Floyd (2011) explains. A disagreement becomes a conflict if both
parties depend on each other in some way. For example, the relationship between a child and their
parents is a relationship that has high interdependence. If there is no dependence between the two
parties, Floyd (2011) does not consider it interpersonal conflict, which I personally found interesting.
The next part of the definition declares that conflict is about the goals the parties perceive see as
incompatible. Incompatible, means that both party s needs cannot be met. However, Floyd

The Church Of Jesus Christ
Commonly referred to as Mormons, though they prefer to be known as Latter day Saints. The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was formed in the first half of the nineteenth century by its
founder, Joseph Smith. Smith was said to have been visited by God, the Father, and Jesus Christ after
retreating to the woods to pray for guidance. At the time there were multiple competing facets of
Christianity and Smith was unsure which to join. To answer his question, God and Jesus Christ told
him not to join any of the churches, but to restore the one true church. After Jesus s crucifixion, Latter
day Saints believe the original church fell after followers argued over his teachings leading to the loss
of his true message. Later, Smith was visited by an angel named Moroni, who announced the
existence of two gold plates for him to find. The plates were in an unknown language so, through God
s assistance, Smith translated the plates into English. Once they had been translated, the plates were
taken back by the angel. The translation of the plates came to be known as the Book of Mormon,
which is the groundwork of the church for Latter day Saints. Smith and his followers, due to the
hostility from the local population in New York, left to settle westward where they could practice their
religion freely. Along the journey, Smith was murdered by a mob for his religious beliefs, but his
follower continued on and settled in Utah. On February 14th, I interviewed Kevin Anderson at The

Tokugawa Traditions
Tradition played a huge role in shaping Japanese history during the Tokugawa period from 1603 1868.
Many of the traditions practiced in this period are still practiced today for example the kinds of things
taught in education in Japan. Many traditional Japanese also still live in the same way of life. The
traditions that were practiced include; the forms of education, roles of women and warriors of Japan.
There were many different classes of warriors in Japan from the samurai, to the warrior Buddhist
monks and the Ashigaru foot soldiers. Although they were all different, they all fought under the
traditional Bushido code. In Japanese society, the country was governed by the warriors because they

It was her duty to serve three men: her father, her husband and her son. The woman was brought up
believing she was inferior to the man and she had many duties to do in her family. She was to bear a

William s Monologue
William felt the ever so soft caress of her fingers across his nametag. A thud the equivalent of the
deep, concussive boom of fireworks unleashed during the grand finale of a July 4th cascade pounded
in his chest. William s knees turned to Jell O. He stumbled backwards into the table and managed to
steady himself without upending the entire array of refreshments. A piece of half eaten miniature
carrot caught in his throat. William coughed in a reflexive fit, but the burst of air failed to dislodge the
meddlesome vegetable from his throat. Terror gripped William as the once easy breathes refused to
traverse the carrot. The panic intensified when the specter of someone giving him the Heimlich
maneuver in front of this exotic woman materialized in his mind. William punched his chest with his
right fist, buckled over, and coughed violently. The carrot dislodged and launched from his mouth,

Acetylation of Ferrocene
Acetylation of Ferrocene 17. October 1996 Experiment #7 Introduction In this lab we will be utilizing
the Friedel Crafts process of acetylation of ferrocene. Ferrocene is an atom of iron bounded by two
aromatic rings. We will use some reagents that will cause the ferrocene to add either one acetyl group
to an aromatic ring or add two acetyl groups to each of the aromatic rings. In order to determine how
well this process had worked we employed: IR spectra analysis, column chromatography, and a little
TLC. This experiment is relevant in today s highly industrialized world. By utilizing many of the
techniques we employ in this lab, a company can synthesize new types of materials or composites that
could revolutionize an industry. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Diabetic Neuropathy Essay
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is among the chronic microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus
due to hyperglycemia. Prevalence of diabetic neuropathy is high, affecting more than 60% of diabetics
(Boulton et al., 2005). The clinical manifestation of diabetic neuropathy include numbness, tingling
sensation in toes, feet, legs, arms, hands and fingers (Kumar et al.). It leads to significant morbidity,
impact on quality of life of patients (Zychowska et al.) and increases the risk of infections leading to
the foot ulcers and non traumatic amputations (Bansal et al.). In diabetic neuronal cells,
hyperglycemic flux activates four cellular pathways: the polyol, advanced glycation end product,
protein kinase C, and hexosamine pathways increasing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It leads to the reduced coupling efficiency in mitochondria and increased superoxide radical
generation damaging both nuclear DNA and mitochondrial DNA leading to activation of poly ADP
ribose polymerase enzyme (PARP) (Fernyhough et al.Brownlee, 2001; Nishikawa et al., 2000b, to be
added). PARP activation leads to inactivation of AMPK which facilitates mitochondrial biogenesis.
Thus, PARP activation compromises the cellular mitochondrial genesis which leads to accumulation
of damaged mitochondria in the cell. Molecular studies have revealed the involvement of
transcriptional regulators such as Nrf2, NF κB, and COX 2 inflammatory cascade in the pathology of
diabetic neuropathy. The Nuclear factor 2 erythroid related factor (Nrf2) is a redox transcription factor
for the production of endogenous antioxidant defenses and detoxifying enzymes. Nuclear factor kappa

production (Negi et al.). Both Nrf2 and NF κB regulation are co ordinated in order to maintain redox
homeostasis in healthy cells. However, during pathological conditions this regulation is disturbed
offering an opportunity for therapeutic intervention. Diabetic neuropathy is a condition , in which

Although it is true that Kobe Bryant was charged with sexual assault, companies are willing to

reason why people are still willing to endorse Kobe Bryant is because they are willing to take that risk.
The reason why many companies are willing to take that risk is because Kobe s fame and success only

The essay being written, will require personal ideas of the writer. Therefore, ask yourself questions
and answer them. Take some time with a pen in your hand and start jotting ideas down. When
brainstorming, write down ideas for a strong thesis statement and ideas to support the claim made.
Additionally, the supporting ideas elaborated will be incorporated in the body of the essay being
written. Before starting to write, sketch out the essay instead of straightway writing it out. Make sure
each paragraph is unified, and elaborate paragraphs using strong transition words to captivate the
readers attention, this will allow the essay to flow more smoothly. In addition, it is important to note
that the introduction is the most important paragraph in the essay to either hook the readers attention
or loose it. Therefore, each individual paragraph should be focused on the idea of supporting the thesis

I Hear America Singing Essay
In I Hear America Singing, Walt Whitman s message of the American identity is that it is diverse and
proud. The fact the American identity is diverse is proven best in the first line, which states, I hear
America singing, the varied carols I hear. In this line, the word varied proves that it is diverse because
if something is varied it has a variety of things amassing it. The American identity being proud is
proven by the line, Each singing what belongs to him or her and to none else. This line proves that the
American identity is proud because it is saying that we celebrate what only we have. This celebration
evinces that we are proud of what we gain by working. In I, too, Langston Hughes message of the
American identity is proud. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is because the whole poem is saying how the Native Americans were not represented. In the
middle of the poem it states, ...here s a guitar/ for you/ a chicana guitar / so you can spill out a song/.../
big enough for my people/ my Native Amerindian race/ that I can t seem to find in your poems. This is
saying that her people were not represented. Due to that being her response to Walt Whitman s poems,
she is saying that her people are also part of the American identity and need to be acknowledged as
well.
The message that Hughes and de Hoyos are trying to convey is that their races were forgotten in Walt
Whitman s I Hear America Singing. This is proven by one quote from each poem. In I, Too, Hughes
says, I, too, sing America./ I am the darker brother. This is hinting that Walt Whitman neglected to
mention anything about the African Americans, who are also proud of what they do. In To Walt
Whitman, de Hoyos says, my Native Amerindian race that I can t to seem to find in your poems. This
line says that, in all of his poems, Walt Whitman never seemed to talk about the Native

What Are The Benefits Of The Reunification Of Germany
The fall of the Berlin Wall and reunification of Germany is seen by many as one of the iconic events
of the twentieth century. As iconic as it was, it would also prove to be highly consequential as issues
surfaced once East and West Germany joined together. Although some people have been critical and
believe that reunification should have been executed differently, the importance of this event in history
cannot be understated. The reunification of Germany was an inevitable that was bound to happen at
some point since the initial division of Germany. Reunification at the soonest time possible was the
policy of the four nations that had control over Germany, however events following Germany s initial
division postponed this possibility. The United States would endorse a new currency in the west as
well as a self governing body which would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Under communism, East Germany boasted a fully employed workforce, upwards of eighty percent of
East German women were employed, and excellent social programs were available to the public such
as free child care. Many of these benefits were compromised upon reunification. It would have been
beneficial for the West German negotiators to recognize the positive aspects that the East German
economy possessed and should have try to implement revised versions of their own. Property rights
would also become a central issue for a unified Germany. Because of East Germany s policy of
expropriating property, millions of Germans lost their land and desired the return or compensation of
their property. Over two million cases were filed by German citizens and to this day not all of the
cases have been sorted through yet. The TREUHAND would be created to help with solving these
cases, however this organization would prove to riddled by corruption. Members of the TREUHAND

The Regional Administration Office of a company was hastily set up. Victor D Cuhna a young
executive was directly recruited to take charge of Data Processing Cell of this office. The data
processing was to help the administrative office in planning and monitoring. The officer cadre of the
administrative office was a mix of directly recruited officers and promotee officers (promotion from
within the organization).
Females dominated the junior clerical cadre. This cadre was not formally trained. The administrative
office had decided to give these fresh recruits on the job training because when results were not upto
the expectations blame was brought on the Data Processing Cell. Victor D Cuhna realized that the
administrative office was heading for trouble. He knew that his task would not be easy and that he had
been selected because of his experience, background and abilities. He also realized that certain
functional aspects of the administrative office were not clearly understood by various functionaries,
and systems and procedures were blindly and randomly followed. Feedback was random, scanty and
controversial, and
Data Processing Cell had to verify every item of feedback. Delays were inevitable. D Cuhna sought
the permission of senior management to conduct a seminar on communication and feedback of which
he was an expert. The permission was grudgingly given by the senior management. Everyone

Deadly Ebola Virus
Most people would say that there are two different versions of viruses. One version of viruses infects
people s computers and completely ruins them (which personally happens to me way to often, by the
way), but the other version of viruses is a lot more deadly. These viruses affect all sorts of living
things and could cause them to get very sick. Viruses replicate themselves inside an organism s living
cells and they then spread to other organisms. Viruses usually spread in a similar fashion to how if you
have the flu and you cough on somebody, then they will get sick as well. According to a website called
Virology Blog, we do not consider viruses to be living things because, quite frankly, viruses are
passive and do not fit the definition ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Rabies virus is, along with the Ebola virus, in Group V and the Mononegavirales order. The
Rabies virus is also in the Rhabdoviridae family and the Lyssavirus genus. According to Wikipedia,
the Rabies virus can affect both humans and animals. The Rabies virus can spread by organisms
coming into contact with the saliva of an animal that has the Rabies virus. This could also work with
the saliva of a human that has the Rabies virus, but it is a little bit less common. How the Rabies virus
spreads was first discovered in the year 1932, when a Government Bacteriologist from Trinidad in the
West Indies named Joseph Lennox Pawan found out that vampire bats that had the Rabies virus could
actually spread the Rabies virus to other animals and humans. The Rabies virus itself was first
discovered about a year before this and by the same Government Bacteriologist, Joseph Lennox
Pawan. In September 1931, he discovered sharply outlined pathognomonic inclusion bodies called
Negri bodies, named after an Italian pathologist named Adelchi Negri, in the brain of a bat with

Literary Analysis Of Tenzing Norgay And Sir Edmund Everest
The rugged ascent of Mount Everest is every insane climbers dream, but nightmare at the same time.
The steep and deadly slopes of the towering Mountain are illustrated and portrayed in the minds of the
readers throughout the abstract and meaningful poem; The Summit. This poem is all about the intrepid
and enduring journey up Mount Everest, taken on by the courageous pioneers; Tenzing Norgay and Sir
Edmund Hillary in the year of 1953. The poem itself uses various different types of language features
to hook and intrigue the readers.
On they plodded, Martian weird, With pouted mask and icicle beard in these lines the poem talks
about the equipment Hillary and Tenzing used on their expedition. The author uses a metaphor to
describe how they looked like during the climb really adds effect and again can make you imagine that
all their gear and masks made them look weird like martians, the metaphor used in these lines really
helps to paint a picture of the situation in the reader s mind. It shows you what they went through and
what they had to do to reach their goal. The lines also show you that you have to be a little weird and
step out of your comfort zone to fulfill your goals and dreams. Confidence is essential for success.
Every single one of the lines in The Summit has some sort of deeper meaning behind them. For
instance, here are a couple of lines extracted from the poem; Their steps were weary, keen was the
wind, Fast vanishing their oxygen fuel, These lines present to the reader how dangerous and punishing
the journey was. The climbers were tired and worn to the soul, you can tell this from line Their steps
were weary. One of the lines; keen was the wind, This line includes personification, meaning; the
wind was keen to do what it does best; blowing and gusting. This highlights the harsh environment the
climbers had to endured through throughout the entirety of their journey. Fast vanishing their oxygen
fuel , this line proves how risky the adventure genuinely was, it also shows that you didn t have a say
in how much long you had time you had to live on Everest, in reality, your oxygen tanks and the
gruelling weather did. In fact the climbers would have to sleep with one eye open just to

each sill and what I looks like in actions (Bradberry Greaves, pg. 23). Following the strategies that I
learned in Professor Girton s class my awareness of emotional intelligence has increased. Self
awareness strategies that I followed to understand myself more was that I took the time to ask people I
know to provide feedback about myself, spot my emotions in films, and know who and what pushes
my buttons. Although there are many other strategies, these were just several that helped see who I
am. My social awareness has improved where I can read people and tell a certain situation did not go

Piedmont, the Atlantic Coastal Plain, and has good harbors and rivers for fish and ships. The Southern
colony has a humid climate with mild winters for being outside a lot., hot summers, and long growing

Trends in virtualization are always changing. As the technology matures and advances are made, there
are more options open to administrators and more cost saving virtualization projects that can be
implemented. The websites and articles listed in the reference section, give you some idea of the
capability using the VMware product, which is simply one of several virtualization options.
Virtualization allows for the maximizing of hardware through the sharing of resources. A virtualized

Host Based Desktop Virtualization
Client Based Desktop Virtualization
HOST BASED DESKTOP VIRTUALIZATION: In the host based virtual machines each and every
user connects to a virtual machine that is hosted in a particular data center. The user may or may not
connect to the same virtual machine every time and even sometimes the user may be allotted a random
virtual machine from a virtual machine pool Sometimes the users connect to a shared desktop i.e.
nothing but the users connect to the individual applications that run on a server. This kind of
connection of the users to a shared desktop is termed as shared hosted desktop virtualization. In the
host based virtual machines the operating systems runs directly on the physical hardware located in
the data center.
CLIENT BASED DESKTOP VIRTUALIZATION: In the client based desktop virtualization, the

Depression, Suicide And Suicide In Hamlet By William...
Life can be a real pain. Several millions of people end their lives every year. In the article, Depression,
suicide, and deliberate self harm in adolescence, it informs, However...in 1990 the suicide rate for
males aged 15 19 years was 57 per million, (Harrington). Harrington also states that men have a
higher rate in suicide than women. A character with the name of Hamlet, in the play Hamlet, felt the
same way as these boys and men. Once again, the amazing and wonderful William Shakespeare is the
creator of this tragedy. Hamlet was, and still is, one of Shakespeare s greatest hits. In the play, Hamlet
loses his father, for his uncle murders him. Hamlet also becomes devastated due to his mother
remarrying quickly to his uncle. His love life goes down the drain as well, and Hamlet becomes
depressed. In Hamlet, Hamlet speaks three soliloquies, in the first three acts of the plays, each
portraying their own message. In the play, act one, Hamlet wishes he was dead, but cannot kill
himself, which is the main message of this soliloquy. The reason to why he cannot commit, is because
of God. God does not think that it is right for anyone to kill his or her self. Therefore, Hamlet thinks if
he ends his life, that he will be sent straight to hell by God. He also says that life is terrible and that
nothing in life ever becomes better. Hamlet then says, the garden is filled with weeds. Meaning, the
world is not attended, it has several toxins. Hamlet at one point, comes to the

Patient Education is dedicated to patients and the education we should be providing as health care
professional on a day to day basis. Patient Education is one of more important jobs we do in our career
as nurses. Children with chronic health problems or diseases such as on a pediatric
hematology/oncology unit, require skilled, home based care by parents, supported by professionals.
However, once patients are discharged, it is evident that there is a continuous need for online
resources to help supplement their learning and the professional support they may have received
during discharge. At this time, existing resources consist on patient/parent education at the bedside,

most of the education is done by the nurses directly to the parents or care givers of the children being

weightlifters, training programmes have frequent high intensity resistance exercises. (1) As volume is
quantitative component of exercise, intensity is qualitative component of exercise, which is essential
component of training to enhance performance.(4) Intensity describes the amount of weight lifted
during resistance training. Intensity ranges from low to high and intensity prescription depends upon

in this case, an offensive tool, despite being a powerful form of telecommunication. These always,
new up and coming devices can cause financial hardships, by people changing life style habits just to

The financial expenses, which have accumilated from mobile phones, have been quite dangerous to
particular people. Like pouring water out of a leaking bottle, money has been wasted out of many
people s banks and financial accounts because of mobiles. Not only can mobile phones be financially
challenging but they can also be physically dangerous. Recent studies have shown that the high level
of radiation coming through the antenna while speaking on the mobile, can critically affect your body
by alpha radiation particles mutating a cell, which goes on to divide and divide, causing a malignant
tumor cancer. So, when all s said and done, mobile phones do have its negative side, and in my
opinion it s negative side is in complete dominance over its positive attributes. These types of phones
can dramatically change people s life styles or even terminate them!
Life styles have often been altered immensely through many life changing events such as: marriage,
births and deaths, diseases, disorders and the like. But however, none of these examples really were in
people s will power, and mobile phones are in other people s hands and in people s strength in mind.
So, is it our latest generations which want to modify their good life style habits in order to make
mobile phones their number one priority, because of their eye catching features and miraculous

The Presidential Campaign
Levy (2016) states that Struggling to make ends meet, Ben Carson s 2016 Republican presidential
campaign woes continued Thursday with the announcement of a reorganization that cost dozens of
paid staffers their jobs. This statement shows the impact that finances have on the US presidential
campaigns. It follows that the fate of the presidential candidates fate relies on organization and by
extension, their pockets.
Private financing forms the biggest percentage of political parties funding and their candidates which
comes with both dangers and virtues. While enabling political parties or candidates to engage the
electorate better stands as a virtue, the financing also poses considerable risk to democracy. The main
concern is the source of money which could be from illegal or criminal activities aimed at curtailing
the course of justice. The main concern among the electorate is the upholding of impunity and buying
influence by the campaign financiers.
Obama Romney Campaign
In the last US elections, the front runners were the current president Obama and the republican
candidate mitt Romney. According to Vogel, Levinthal and Tarini (2012), the camping used $ 1.123
billion for Obama and $ 1.019 billion for Romney which was debuted as the most expensive
presidential election in the history of US presidential campaigns.

Margaret Beaufort lived in a time when the ceramics industry in London and the surrounding areas
was just starting to take off (Kingston type ware). She was born into a wealthy family and so she had
many servants to take care of the cooking and cleaning (The Red Queen..., 2013). At this time, many
beautifully glazed jugs and other pots were probably used in her home. However, most of these pots
were probably glazed with a green or yellow glaze as that was the popular color at that time (Medieval
Glazed Ware). Margaret Beaufort was an esteemed woman that probably had some of the best quality

  • 3. The New Deal Policies By Franklin D. Roosevelt The New Deal policies were created by Franklin D. Roosevelt and his people who are known as the New Dealers . They were created in hopes that they would bring relief, recovery, and reform to America and help bring America out of the depression. This flawed plan that many historians believe was largely a success brought America another rescission and caused the unemployment rate to rise. To believe that the New Deal was largely a success is to overlook its many failures and negative impact on America. From the failure of the NRA to the hostile reactions of many critics to the fact that unemployment rose, and the discrimination towards women and blacks it is clear that this New Deal was far from a success and was indeed very flawed. The National Recovery Administration (NRA) was one of the many administrations that were initiated during the New Deal. This administration was established to help create jobs, increase consumer buying power, and to help create minimum wage. The NRA created a blanket code that would make companies have a minimum wage and maximum work hours and was claimed to raise consumer purchasing power and increase employment. These codes were poorly written and had no enforcement mechanisms and many employers ignored them. Many businesses slanted their NRA codes to provide higher profits rather than the better wages for labor and lower prices for consumers that the cooperative design called for. The NRA was ran by federal officials with no prior ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The irregularity results in an abnormal amount of chromosomes in the produced cells and causes alterations in those who are affected. Nondisjunctional consequences can be seen in these five examples of genetic inheritance conditions discussed in this paper: Down syndrome, Patau s syndrome, Edward s syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, and Turner s syndrome. The Mendelian principles of genetics developed by Gregor Mendel include the patterns of autosomal recessive and autosomal dominant. As a result, there are an extra amount or not enough sets of chromosomes in the cells created which causes disorders in those affected. The effects of nondisjunction include the following diseases: Down syndrome, Patau s syndrome, Edward s syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, and Turner s syndrome. Mendelian and non Mendelian inheritance patterns determine how certain traits are passed on to the next generation. Mendelian patterns are autosomal dominant inheritance, which causes Marfan syndrome and Huntington disease, and autosomal recessive inheritance, which causes cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease. Non Mendelian patterns of inheritance include polygenic and mitochondrial inheritance. Polygenic inheritance is seen in the inheritance of traits like skin color and height and can cause heart diseases and cancer. In mitochondrial inheritance, also known as maternal inheritance, DNA in the mitochondria is passed down primarily from the mother. This form of inheritance causes some disorders like Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy and Kearns Sayre syndrome may occur. Epigenetic inheritance is an unusual process in which epigenetic tags created by a parent s experience can be passed on to their offspring. • 6. Patriarchy In India All over the world, 8th March is celebrated as International Women s Day. In fact, gender equality is proclaimed as fundamental right by the United Nations Charter in 1945. However, the status of women is not at par with that of men in India. Ages have come and go, but the plight of women is not likely to change. From aeons, time has helplessly watched excesses done on women in the form of discrimination, oppression, exploitation, degradation, and humiliation etc. gender based discrimination represents the ugly face of the society. This is global issue with varying degrees and India is not an exception to it, especially Haryana where it s a patriarchy society. Patriarchy is social organization has been the dominant reality to define the nature of gender relations in human society that rendered it male centric in most parts of the world since the dawn of human civilization. Much has changed since the primitive times but the male dominated ethos still holds sway. In spite of all the advances made in the field of woman emancipation, male hegemony is still the dominant reality.1 Haryana is primarily an agrarian society and its towns too are like villages with modern facilities. In male dominated social ethos, the quest for a male child is incessant while the female child is treated as a curse. Haryana folklore crudely depicts female child as highly unwanted. The mindset is reflected in the declining social status of women in Haryana.2 Magnitude of female foeticide in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

NCAAArgument Essay It s shaping up to be a trying year for the NCAA as two former athletes have come forward in the past week and filed a class action lawsuit against them for academic fraud in its members schools athletic programs. While some think this couldn t get worse, from the numerous unacknowledged complaints from over the last century, a large number of the student athletes on the receiving end of less than stellar educations were African American student athletes especially in revenue producing sports like basketball and football. The two athletes that have come to the front line of this debacle are former University of North Carolina (UNC) football player, Devon Ramsay and basketball player Rashanda McCants. Mr. McCants stands by his sister s lawsuit and is even testifying against not only the NCAA, but also his alma mater. This isn t the first time Mr. McCants has put up a red flag against his old college; in early June of 2014 he participated in an interview where he stated that he took bogus classes and had tutors write his homework. • 8. Gloucester and Lear s Realizations of the Importances in Life Gloucester and Lear s Realizations of the Importance s in Life In William Shakespeare s King Lear, Gloucester and Lear both experience similar situations in which their children cause them to suffer greatly: The former suffers from blindness and the latter slips from reality into a state of madness. It is not until Act 4, scene 6 that they come to the realization of the importances in life; such as true love for and from a child. Gloucester is convinced by his illegitimate son Edmund that his legitimate son Edgar cannot be trusted, resulting in the banishment of Edgar. King Lear believes the false protestations of love his two elder daughters, Goneril and Regan sell to him; meanwhile, his youngest daughter Cordelia is the only daughter ... This scene shows Gloucester that his fate is in the hands of the Gods and they will take his life only when it is his time to die and that he must continue his life journey to find out more about himself. During this discovery, Gloucester s loyal son is with him, in disguise. Edgar acts as his guide but he does not reveal himself to his father in this scene because it would interfere with Gloucester s recovery. Act 4, scene 6 displays Gloucester s sorrow for misjudging his children and the remorse he feels towards Edgar. This scene leads into Edgar revealing himself to his father. After Edgar s confession, Gloucester immediately dies from joy and grief. Even though death is the end result for Gloucester, he is able to make peace with his son before he dies. It is tragic that Gloucester did not come to the realization that his son was with him for a long while and that Edgar did not reveal himself sooner, but it is better late than never to be reunited with loving children. Now that Gloucester has seen his forgiving son again, which is very important to Gloucester, the Gods find it an appropriate time to take his life: Gloucester has accomplished what he needed to. Similar to Gloucester, Act 4, scene 6 leads into Lear making a significant discovery of his life: he is not perfect. In this scene, Lear experiences madness but is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He died on April 18, 1955 in Princeton, NJ. Einstein is famous for his equation E = m c2. In this equation E represents the units of energy, m represents the units of mass, and c 2 is the speed of light squared, or multiplied by itself according to Dictionary.com.This is one of Einstein s most remembered accomplishments. Einstein s equation, E = m c2 , is one of his many accomplishments. He has many more though. For example he was offered the presidency of Israel. Though he did decline. This will later lead to many of his astounding performances. Such as, he provided empirical evidence for the atomic theory. He also enabled the determination of Avogadro s number and therefore the size of molecules. Einstein was the one who answered the basic question, why is the sky blue and he proposed the general theory of relativity. He was rewarded with the Copley Medal, Max Planck Medal, Franklin Medal, Matteucci Medal, and the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society. My book, Albert Einstein The Miracle Mind, was very good for a book report. If you want to know about Albert Einstein I would recommend this book. My favorite part about the book was the time line and the 1st chapter. The time line is perfect for paragraphs 2 and 3. It has all his accomplishments so you don t have to go look them back up. Chapter 1 is one of my favorite parts because I love hearing about people s childhoods, also because it is so descriptive. It will tell everyone s thinking. • 10. Anger In The Manciple s Tale By Geoffrey Chaucer History has a way of repeating itself. Mistakes made by earlier civilizations are re made in modern day. It is true that people learn from their mistakes, but it is what they are ignorant of that gets repeated. If people knew something was morally wrong, they would avoid doing it. If they were raised to believe it was right, they would still do it, thinking they are doing right. Not only bad things have a reincarnation in the future, but good things as well. Even a manner of which a society of the past acts can be mirrored in the modern world. Authors have studied these occurrences and applied them in their works. The first of the two characters in the tale is Constance, the religious one. It is said that she is the mirror of all courtesy,/Her heart a chamber of true holiness,/ Her hand a ministration of largess (Chaucer, The Man of Law s Tale , line 166 168). She is the model of a virtuous being. She has absolute trust in God, and she teaches other to do the same. She practices being loyal to the law as well as her faith. She is exemplified as a materially poor person but spiritually rich. She can resist temptation because she looks forward to a better life in Heaven. Through hard times and good times, she remains always faithful to God, and God always protects her. She can most accurately be related to a modern day monk. They have no money, for they have taken a vow of poverty, but they remain spiritually rich. Being spiritually rich means they leave behind family, possessions, and worldly position, and even the outer marks of personal identity, symbolized by hair, beard, and wardrobe (Bhikkhu Bodhi). They trust in God, and are strong followers of their faith, like Constance. Since The monastic lifestyle places the monk in dependence on the generosity and kindness of others , when there is no one around to provide the monk with generosity, their only option is to trust in God. They still follow the official laws, but ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Interplay Of Conflict And Deception In Interpersonal... Two parts of interpersonal communication go hand in hand are conflict and deception. One can lead to the other and vice versa. Most people try to avoid both conflict and deception, but people must realize that they have benefits and are a reality in everyday interactions. The interplay of conflict and deception specifically harnessed my attention over the past few chapters. Interpersonal conflict is an expressed struggle between two interdependent parties who perceive incompatible goals, scarce resources, and interference from the other party in achieving their goals (Floyd, 2011, p. 350). To fully understand conflict, the definition can be broken down further. As Kory Floyd (2011) describes, conflict is an expressed struggle. A conflict is not fully present until one party s feelings are aware to the other party. This can be done through both verbal and nonverbal behaviors. Conflict occurs between interdependent parties as Floyd (2011) explains. A disagreement becomes a conflict if both parties depend on each other in some way. For example, the relationship between a child and their parents is a relationship that has high interdependence. If there is no dependence between the two parties, Floyd (2011) does not consider it interpersonal conflict, which I personally found interesting. The next part of the definition declares that conflict is about the goals the parties perceive see as incompatible. Incompatible, means that both party s needs cannot be met. However, Floyd ... • 12. The Church Of Jesus Christ Commonly referred to as Mormons, though they prefer to be known as Latter day Saints. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was formed in the first half of the nineteenth century by its founder, Joseph Smith. Smith was said to have been visited by God, the Father, and Jesus Christ after retreating to the woods to pray for guidance. At the time there were multiple competing facets of Christianity and Smith was unsure which to join. To answer his question, God and Jesus Christ told him not to join any of the churches, but to restore the one true church. After Jesus s crucifixion, Latter day Saints believe the original church fell after followers argued over his teachings leading to the loss of his true message. Later, Smith was visited by an angel named Moroni, who announced the existence of two gold plates for him to find. The plates were in an unknown language so, through God s assistance, Smith translated the plates into English. Once they had been translated, the plates were taken back by the angel. The translation of the plates came to be known as the Book of Mormon, which is the groundwork of the church for Latter day Saints. Smith and his followers, due to the hostility from the local population in New York, left to settle westward where they could practice their religion freely. Along the journey, Smith was murdered by a mob for his religious beliefs, but his follower continued on and settled in Utah. On February 14th, I interviewed Kevin Anderson at The ... She had to teach the kids to read and write and dress in formal clothes. The woman also had to train as a samurai in order to protect the family home when the husband was a way. Other women would also help their husbands with their work if they were shopkeepers or farm labourers. The women would plant rice, tend to crops and spin or weave. A thud the equivalent of the deep, concussive boom of fireworks unleashed during the grand finale of a July 4th cascade pounded in his chest. William s knees turned to Jell O. He stumbled backwards into the table and managed to steady himself without upending the entire array of refreshments. A piece of half eaten miniature carrot caught in his throat. William coughed in a reflexive fit, but the burst of air failed to dislodge the meddlesome vegetable from his throat. Terror gripped William as the once easy breathes refused to traverse the carrot. The panic intensified when the specter of someone giving him the Heimlich maneuver in front of this exotic woman materialized in his mind. William punched his chest with his right fist, buckled over, and coughed violently. The carrot dislodged and launched from his mouth, landing with a wet thwack on the floor next the woman s high heeled foot. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The threaded top of the Evian bottle glistened with peach flavored lip gloss. William slurped from the bottle; the sweet nectar of peaches flowed with the refreshingly cool water across his tongue and down his throat. He drank as though he had just marched across Death Valley without a canteen, his tongue working violently at the bottle, desperately chasing the sweet nectar that once adorned the woman s lips. • 15. Acetylation of Ferrocene Acetylation of Ferrocene 17. October 1996 Experiment #7 Introduction In this lab we will be utilizing the Friedel Crafts process of acetylation of ferrocene. Ferrocene is an atom of iron bounded by two aromatic rings. We will use some reagents that will cause the ferrocene to add either one acetyl group to an aromatic ring or add two acetyl groups to each of the aromatic rings. In order to determine how well this process had worked we employed: IR spectra analysis, column chromatography, and a little TLC. This experiment is relevant in today s highly industrialized world. By utilizing many of the techniques we employ in this lab, a company can synthesize new types of materials or composites that could revolutionize an industry. ...
