Being one of the biggest attraction in Bloomsburg that only comes once a year it is a huge deal to the

York Times, is a narrative essay that focuses on telling a story of past events. Vargas proposes that
since he grew up in America that this is considered his home. Vargas believed he would be granted
citizenship if he worked harder and achieved more. His motivation of sharing his childhood journey
would be the relief of him coming forward about his legal status to those who were not aware and to

The four founders were all around 19 years old when they attended the International Eucharistic

Initially, when I first registered to enroll for this online Speech class, I did not know what to expect. I
thought that we would only meet in order to present the required speeches and then I thought that we
would have a virtual classroom to give speeches were we were all online at once. Now I know that
both of my guesses were wrong. For our speeches, we either record them online and invite classmates
as audience members to watch, or have a live audience of family and/or friends that record you giving
your speech in your living room or somewhere similar. When I found out that these were the ways I
would be giving my speeches, I was so surprised. When I am speaking in front of a live audience in a
classroom, I get so nervous, so I thought that this method of giving presentations might be less
anxious for me.
The first speech was the Most Embarrassing Moment speech. I honestly was still so nervous to record
this even though I would just be looking at my computer screen. It felt kind of weird, almost as if I
was video chatting with myself. After I memorized my speech and sent in my recording, I
immediately assumed that I failed because the professor would think that I was too close to the screen
or I was too loud or I moved my head around a lot. Then I ended up getting an A on it. Everything I
thought that I did wrong was either irrelevant or did not distract from my presentation as a whole.

Women eventually became repulsive against the standards of which they were being held to, yet they
had to remain quiet. Several organizations were created regarding women s suffrage. Many of the
organizations had committed members who devoted all of their free time to the organization. Susan
Brownell Anthony was one of those committed members. Anthony was born on February 15, 1820 in
Adams, Massachusetts. She became interested in Women suffrage at a young age. She practically
devoted her life to the Women s Suffrage Movement. Anthony s father worked as a farmer. Eventually
he became wealthy by starting a cotton mill. Despite their, wealth they lived a simple life. Keeping up
with their Quaker faith. Quakers believed in equality between the sexes. Anthony was raised in an
environment filled with outspoken women resulting in her outspoken personality. In 1849, Anthony
quit her job and rejoined her parents, who moved to Rochester Newyork, where Anthony became

The On The Processing Of Swallowing
The processing of swallowing, called deglutition, contains three main stages. The first stage is
voluntary, which is the oral stage in the mouth in which we control. The second stage is the
pharyngeal stage, and that is autonomic; controlled by the autonomic nervous system. Lastly, the third
stage is esophageal stage, which entails the food traveling from the pharynx downward to the stomach
through the esophagus. The esophageal stage is also autonomic.
Deglutition is a complicated process involving multiple structures of the oral cavity, pharynx, and
esophagus. The first stage is initiated when food enters the mouth. The process starts with chewing, or
mastication. The tongue can control movements of the food within the mouth during mastication.
Saliva also moistens the food as the food is being masticated. While the tongue, teeth, and cheeks are
working together, the process of mastication turns the food into bolus, which is a solid collection of
food. The tongue presses the bolus against the hard palate as swallowing occurs, gathering a
backwards movement. The bolus goes through the oral cavity down to the oropharynx. After this
voluntary stage, everything else becomes autonomic.
The sensory nerves located in the oropharynx, sends messages to the medulla oblongata via cranial
nerves (trigeminal and glossopharyngeal nerves). The medulla oblongata comprises the swallowing

Throughout the history of the world, societies have always tried to imagine a utopian way of life

and four minutes of the musical drama Cabaret, directed by Bob Fosse.
Cabaret was pulled from the pages of The Berlin Stories by Christopher Isherwood and later on
adapted into a twelve Tony award winning Broadway musical in 1966. Later on, after Cabaret became
dormant in public eye, Bob Fosse adopted the musical and decided to put in on the big screens in
1972. Fosse made no mistake of recruiting large names for his movie, such as Liza Minnelli, Michael
York and Joel Gray. The Screenplay of Cabaret would continue on to win eight academy awards,
resulting in an almost near sweep of the 1973 oscars, and be named three hundred and sixty seven on
Empire s list of greatest five hundred movies of all time.
Liza Minnelli received the most recognition for her portrayal of socially conflicted Sally Bowles.
