• I first started off with a picture of the DOOMGUY fighting
demons from hell by copying and pasting it and then I used
the rectangle marquee tool to mark out the areas I wanted to
colour in in blocks with paint can tool and then I made the
name for the magazine “THE EXCEED” with the font Stencil std.
Then I added a barcode and also an Issue number and I used
the braggadocio font to write that. Then in the end I added a
plug of giving away a DOOM poster with the magazine and
then I also made a selling line Make Gaming Great Again. I
made it like this because I wanted the front page to show off
the glory of the game I was making a special edition of ( I
made the special edition of DOOM because it was the last
game I had played when I started to make it and I also liked
the playlist and graphics of the game)

• First of all I found a background, the pentagram and then at the top In the
Font STENCIL STD and the words saying Celebrating DOOM re-mastered
and then at the bottom I added some information about what would be
found inside such as insight into the DOOM series and also how the
creators of DOOM came up with the idea for the art of DOOM.
• I added the information to the back of the magazine because I didn’t want
to obstruct the picture of DOOM on the front page however this makes
this very awkward to anyone who ties to find out where the information is
if they were reading it for the first time and then I also used the
pentagram because it is a symbol closely related to hell and demons.

• I made the background for the two pages by by making the
background layer into the first layer and adding the line and
lowering the opacity to make the DOOM picture lighter than it is
and so the writing could then be seen much clearer than before and
just in case I added an outline to all the bits of writing to make
them stand out even more and some of the bits of writing I had to
change from the stencil studio to Rockwell extra bold which also
draws attention to the pieces, I found most of my information on
Wikipedia so there is a high chance that a lot of my information is
incorrect, and after all of this I added pictures to go with the
information such as a picture of John Romero and Mick Gordon,
then I also added pictures of one of the novels created for DOOM
and one of the bosses of the 2016 game (Cyber Demon) and for the
pictures I edited out the background of the other pictures.

• I started off with a grey background and the title of the
page which was the review of Republique which is
supposed to have a graphe on the first e of Republique
most of my information for the reviews were found on a
page called meteocritic and I found a few pages for
different pictures I would use for the project but it ended
up failing my expectations.
• I did a piece on Republique because it came out about the
same time as DOOM (2016) and it would have made a lot
of sense to have a game review of a game that came out
about the same time as DOOM, however I had never played
the game in question so it was difficult to come up with the
reviews and so I needed to find some pre-existing reviews
to try and modify them.
