2. Style sheet
This is a similar font to what I want to use for the writing. Its very slim and
unusual for a sci-fi series but its iconic to the franchise. It is kinda thin and
curvy and is one of the fonts I will use in the trailers and posters.
Whilst we see a fixed image, in the game it is up to the player to decide the
race and gender of the main character. While there will be a default main
character there within the game there will be options for your character. This
poster has a red theme indicating danger. I will also use colours within the
posters and trailer to convey the emotional theme of the trailer.
The background has earth burning showing the danger it is in.
The main character is at the front walking towards the screen battle ready
indicating that this is an action packed game. I will consider things like this
within my promotional products. Maybe within my posters.
This poster has a blue colour theme indicating hope. Its kinda mysterious
because you don’t know anything about these characters

im not sure it will be as good as that. The quality will mainly be focused on the animated trailer
and I will make it as good looking as possible.
No scenes from the actual game. I will do a similar thing where I use as little premade scenes as
possible and I hope to animate most if not all myself. I hope this on my all my products especially
my trailer.
Designed to create a feeling of this unstoppable enemy while still having hope. I want a similar

This logo is layed out kinda weirdly as the title of the franchise is at the top and bottom where the sub title
of the show is contained inside it. This Akward style of logo is very unique and interesting, I will try
something similar on my logos. Its not a bland colour, it’s a shiny gold material with a slight bevel on the
edge. I will include some kind of bevel and flashy material on my logos that I create for the promotional
products.
In this “poster” it’s a composition of renders from the show that have been put together in photoshop. This
is a good way of creating a poster for a Animated show but is create some problems such as each render
has different lighting and makes it a little awkward but it is hard to notice unless you look closely to it. But
the renders and the models are very detailed and immersive. My posters will be similar using renders and
putting them together in photoshop to create a poster.

Good use of logos. The logos animations are very good and the way they
come in fits well with the music. I will try to do a similar thing with my trailer
where I make the logos Fit in as Best as possible.
The cartoon style while still having realistic physics and lighting. I will try to
do a similar thing with the style of my animations and the lighting and
physics will be the best I can make.
The lighting tends to help set the mood of each scene or be thematic. I will
make the scenes in the trailer help set the mood by using the lighting to set
the mood. I could also try to apply this to my other products as well.
The trailer starts with a Monologue. I will also have a monologue starting
off my trailer to make it sound more dramatic.
The trailer is very good looking. I will try to make all my products look good
too.
Very good effects. I will try to make my effects as good as I can possibly
make them
Doesnt spoil the game by Not using scenes from the game. I will not spoil
any big details about the game in my trailer it will just give it the overall
premise of the story.

Very good logo effects. They look very flashy and professional.
Cinematography very similar to angles and sets like in the star wars
movies. Obviously inspired by them to give it that star wars feeling. I will
do the same with my trailer by using sets and Cinematography Similar to
the Star Wars Movies and the Mass Effect games.
Good attention to detail. I will also pay good attention to detail, making
sure everything is the correct Size and looks right.

photoshop then autotrace (traces
alpha or luminescent lines with
images) in After Effects, Imported into
Element 3D (After Effects Plugin) then
extruded (lifting a flat mask or text into
3D) into a 3D Model, I could then add
gold and silver textures (using pre-
existing textures).
The star destroyer and the reaper can
be 3D models with edited textures.

using Optical Flares (Advanced
Lensflare Plugin for After Effects).

for After Effects)to generate the stars.
I would design the logo in photoshop.

InterGalactic Relay pan-The camera would Pan around the 3D model of the mass effect relay that I would paint to look different
Scary mysterious shot of reapers- This is supposed to establish them as the bad guys. I want it to be similar to the shot in the ending of mass effect 2 as they slowly come out
of the darkness
some kind of shot that imposes some kind of danger or doom feeling – Something coloured Red with defeat or Hopelessness
logos – Im thinking having multiple logos and having a slow, smooth reveal of them

Meeting around a table- this would establish within the trailer that this is supposed to be everyone teaming up against the reapers
reapers over city – Im thinking Corascant, maybe Naboo, or Correlia, a densely populated planet that the reapers could do a lot of damage to.
undocking from star destroyer – This is a scene idea I have had in my head for a long time. I like the idea of the Normandy undocking from the star destroyer, kind of in
reverse of what happens in a new hope. Im thinking I could add some battle damage to the Normandy to maybe show this isn’t the first battle and the reason it was in there
was to get repaired and maybe it couldn’t make the jump by itself.
some kind of shot that gives hope- while this trailer is very dark with lots of hopelessness and defeat I also want to make sure there is plenty of hope that the battle can be
won within my trailer and I think it will balance well, not being all doom and gloom.
cliff hanger – I want something at the end that will make the person watching want to stick to the end and make them want to play the game
title screen – Something unique and bold so the audience knows what game they want to buy after seeing this trailer
