Production Reflection
Fred Clayton
Process
• I have first done some
concept art that is easy to
translate into a pixel art
style, as I am unfamiliar
with it. This means that
I’m not “going in blind”
when I start drawing my
character.
Process
• I just wrote a quick script
that will inform the visual
choices I make; as my
writing for this game is
quite light-hearted I will
make the character more
exaggerated in turn, as
well as other design
elements (UI, Music.)
Process
• This was my setup for
photoshop. All of my
snapshot will be made in
photoshop. I feel
extremely good about my
final piece now seeing
how quickly I made the
art assets for it.
Process
• I have finished making the sound for my screenshot
which includes a 3 song soundtrack (which can be
found here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FZUKnFLhtxN0V
EFA8iSig30LLj5Q83_R) and one small sound effect for
“selecting” an option or moving the dialog forward. I
made the music in FL studio and the sound effect in
beepbox as instructed. I was inspired by games like
Phoenix Wright and genres like city pop when I was
making the music.
Process
• This was how I edited my
final snapshot. I mainly
just added text and
added fades at the end of
each screen change, it
was very simple to edit.
