he global-scale disruption brought about by the
TCOVID-19 pandemic emphasized the utmost

logistics that support it. What it taught us as humanity, and
as a country with the biggest population in the world, is to

March 2020, we received a call from ICMR on the 27th of
March for the ground handling and transportation of

about the deployment of Air India flights and Indian Air
Force flights, and we were entrusted with the responsibility
of ground handling of COVID-19 material, including PPE
kits, RT PCR kits, testing kits, masks, etc. I took two days to
plan this with my team. I scheduled a call with our 225
staff pan India and explained the solemnity of the task. It
was a clear direction from my end to the team that this is
not a simple task but a service to humanity. To my surprise,
the very next day, all 225 people confirmed to shoulder
this responsibility with complete resoluteness. After an
intensive discussion with the board members, I extended
my confirmation to ICMR, and from 1st April onwards,
everyone was on the field handling 15-20 Tons of
shipment daily. For the next two months, they worked for
20 hours at a stretch every single day. It couldn’t have been
possible without ICMR’s authorization of having our
vehicles on the road and my team’s unwavering
commitment to serve the nation in its hours of crisis
despite major setbacks such as unavailability of food,
water, transportation, and potential health risks.”

after gaining a series of experiences in eCommerce business

handicrafts, and e-commerce. She is leading and guiding
various operations, digital media, and marketing teams to

She is an MBA graduate of Cardiff University, where she
was a scholarship recipient, and she also has an engineering
degree. Her brief experience with the Tesco supply chain
(UK) provides her with international exposure to supply
chain risk management. She also worked with embedded
systems at Intel India during her engineering career.
She finds inspiration in Ankit Jain, who has over a decade
and a half of experience in c-commerce and digital
marketing services. BigShip has grown enormously in the
last two years due to his vast experience with e-commerce
platforms. With roots in Delhi-6, his core business values
are very strong and instilled. Doing a business is a journey,
and with his fair share of failed and successful start-ups, his

“Our path was also not crisp and clear, as we feel is similar
