I am aiming for a demographic of heterosexual male children,
between 7-12, primarily from a lower middle class
background as the game I am aiming to create will contain
cartoon-style, non-graphic violence and a protagonist that will
be a teenage/young adult male. I am aiming to interest the
biggest groups in our society in order to ‘sell’ the most copies
of this ‘game’ as is humanly possible.
As for psychographics, my game will most likely interest
achievers, as I intend to include collectables, coins and
achievements that hunters can acquire by doing certain task
during the game. They may even be able to spend the coins
they collect in the game for certain items, upgrades or visual
changes in the game.
Similar games include Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog,
Cuphead and Shovel Knight.
