 This template PowerPoint presentation includes all the relevant
elements you need to cover your film production.
 It is suggested you save this PP in a different name so you
always have a copy – some sections require you to delete the
information on the slide and replace with your own work
 Add more pages to each section where necessary [you should be
doing this!]
 Add visuals as you see necessary
 This document will be added to as you progress through the pre-
production phase.
 Remember, you need to give as much attention to your
sound planning as you do to your visual planning

Act 1 The Victim is sat on the table in front of the
bullies throwing crumpled up paper at her
and visibly whispering about her. The girl
looks at the clock and looks down to her
book sadly as she sees there’s longer left of
the lesson but as she looks down at her
notebook there are birds she has sketched
in the corner and wing stickers on her pencil
case and notebook
-Rack Focus shot
-Point of view
(through her eyes)
-Words the bullies
have said fade on
and off on screen
suggesting her head
Is “Busy” with
thoughts
-Close up
-Zoom in on book
-Hushed whispers
(cant hear what they
are saying just
whisper sound)
-Sad music?
Act 2 She closes her eyes and it cuts to a
“memory” of the girl watching all the birds
and embracing the breeze and stretching
her arms pretending to fly as birds fly above
her.
-Extreme close up
-Wide shot
-Medium shot
-Trees in the wind
-Birds
Act 3 She stands from her chair and spins round
to the bullies as wings grow from her back
taking her and the bullies by surprise and
camera pans around to see her determined
face with wings outstretched
-Medium shot
-Rack focus
-hearing the chair
scrape
-sound of wings
flapping/growing

VISUALISATION/CONCEPT
BOARD
Organisational Planning
 Who is going to be in your film, how and why have they been
deemed your best choice? Do you have any backup options?
 I chose my cast as they would be available when needed and
could easily make plans. I didn’t have a back up as I knew they
would be free but I would have had people who were free who
could have been a replacement I just didn’t ask them in advance.
LOCATION
Risk Control Measure
Slips, trips and falls while
using equipment/looking
through viewfinders.
• Ensure you are familiar with your surroundings, any
planned movements and that the location is safe.
• Any camera movements should employ a spotter for
the camera operator, directing the movement safely.
Manual handling carrying
equipment
• Do not carry/move equipment beyond your comfort
level.
• Request help when transporting equipment/share
amongst crew.
• Adhere to manual handling methods for carrying
items.
Lost/stolen equipment • Do not leave any equipment unattended.
Electrical equipment,
extension/data cables and
plugs- electric shock
• Do not touch any equipment that appears faulty and
report it to the tutor/technician.
Tripping hazards in woods • Watch your step and find a flatter part of the forest to
film in
Classroom risks • Read risk assessment that has been placed in the
room
• Be sensible
 Provide an outline of what you will do on which days during
production
Soundtrack Planning
 In my film will be the sound from the paper balls hitting the victim
and also the walking footsteps as she walks through the wood. I
have chosen to keep the audio track as it make sthe film more
realistic and creates the atmosphere I wanted.
 I used a sad song soundtrack to further show the mood and when
it gets to where my victim stands up for herself the music is
victory music to show that she has won and creates a better
atmosphere.
