A bit about Minecraft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minecraft
 Minecraft is a sandbox video game created and designed by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson,
and later fully developed and published by Mojang. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft allow players
to build with a variety of different cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include
exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat.
 Multiple gameplay modes are available, including a survival mode where the player must acquire resources to
build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and
the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a
spectator mode where players can freely move throughout a world without being affected by gravity or collisions.
The PC version of the game is noted for its modding scene, where a dedicated community creates new
gameplay mechanics, items, and assets for the game.
 Minecraft received praise from critics and has won numerous awards and accolades. Social media, parodies,
adaptations, merchandise and the MineConconvention played large roles in popularizing the game. It has also
been used in educational environments, especially in the realm of computing systems, as virtual computers and
hardware devices have been built in it. As of February 2017, over 121 million copies have been sold across
all platforms, making it the second best-selling video game of all time. In September 2014, Microsoftannounced a
deal to buy Mojang and the Minecraft intellectual property for US$2.5 billion, with the acquisition completed two
months later. Other games in the franchise, such as Minecraft: Story Mode, have also been released.
 Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to
play the game.[14] However, there is an achievement system.[15] Gameplay is in the first-person perspective by default, and players have the option to play in third-
person.[16] The game world is composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes and fluids—representing various materials, such as dirt, stone, ores, tree trunks, water and
lava. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing these objects. These blocks are arranged in a 3D grid, while players can move freely around the world.
Players can "mine" blocks and then place them elsewhere, which allows for constructions to be built.[17]
 The game world is virtually infinite, and procedurally generated, using a map seed, as players explore it.
 Minecraft was first released to the public on 17 May 2009, as a developmental release on TIGSource forums,[59] later becoming known as the Classic version. Further
milestones dubbed as Survival Test, Indev and Infdev were released between September 2009 and February 2010, although the game saw updates in-between. The
first major update, dubbed alpha version, was released on 28 June 2010. Although Persson maintained a day job with Jalbum.net at first, he later quit in order to work
on Minecraft full-time as sales of the alpha version of the game expanded.[60] Persson continued to update the game with releases distributed to users automatically.
These updates included new items, new blocks, new mobs, survival mode, and changes to the game's behaviour (e.g. how water flows).[60]
 Social media sites such as YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit played a significant role in popularising Minecraft.[229] Research conducted by the University of
Pennsylvania's Annenberg School of Communication showed that one-third of Minecraft players learned about the game via Internet videos.[230] In 2010, Minecraft-
related videos began to gain influence on YouTube, often made by commentators. The videos usually contain screen-capture footage of the game and voice-
overs.[231] Common coverage in the videos includes creations made by players, walkthroughs of various tasks, and parodies of works in popular culture. By May 2012,
over 4 million Minecraft-related YouTube videos had been uploaded.[232] Some popular commentators have received employment at Machinima, a gaming video
company that owns a highly watched entertainment channel on YouTube.[231] The Yogscast is a British organisation that regularly produces Minecraft videos; their
YouTube channel has attained billions of views, and their panel at MineCon 2011 had the highest attendance.[231][233] Other well known YouTube personnel
include Jordan Maron, who has created many Minecraft parodies, including "Minecraft Style", a parody of the internationally successful single "Gangnam Style" by
South Korean rapper PSY.[234] Herobrine is a major community icon of Minecraft, who first appeared as a single image on 4chan's /v/ board. According to rumours,
Herobrine appears in players' worlds and builds strange constructions.[235] However, Mojang has confirmed that Herobrine has never existed in Minecraft, and there are
no plans to add Herobrine.[236]
 Minecraft has been referenced by other video games, such as RuneScape,[citation needed] Torchlight II, Borderlands 2, Choplifter HD, Super Meat Boy, The Elder Scrolls V:
Skyrim, The Binding of Isaac, The Stanley Parable, and FTL: Faster Than Light.[237][238] It was also referenced by electronic music artist deadmau5 in his
performances.[239] A simulation of the game was featured in Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y." music video.[240] The game is also referenced heavily in "Informative Murder Porn",
the second episode of the seventeenth season of the animated television series South Park.[241] "Luca$", the seventeenth episode of the 25th season of the animated
sitcom The Simpsons was inspired by Minecraft; Persson responded by tweeting "I'm not sure how I feel about it."[242]

Vlogs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_blog
 A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog[1] /vlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video,[2] and is a form of web
television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be
recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. The vlog category is popular on YouTube.
 Video logs (vlogs) also often take advantage of web syndication to allow for the distribution of video over the Internet using either
the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for automatic aggregation and playback on mobile devices and personal computers (See video
podcast).
 Hosted in Los Angeles, California, VidCon is an annual convention that allows YouTube content creators and viewers to come together in
order to share content ideas and business contacts.[15] The first VidCon event was held on July 10 and 11, 2010, and has now become the
largest in-person gathering of internet creators, viewers, and representatives.[16] This convention realizes that the ways in which society
entertains, educates, shares, and communicates are being revolutionized, and chooses to highlight this fact via panels, meet and greets,
and talks given to audiences at the convention.[15
 YouTube currently ranks among the top three most-visited sites on the web.[17] As a high traffic area for video bloggers, or vloggers,
YouTube has created a platform for these participants to present their personal videos, which oftentimes are filmed using hand held point
and shoot cameras.[18] The popularity of vlogs in the YouTube community has risen exponentially in the past few years;[19] out of the top 100
most subscribed YouTube channels, 17 provide vlogs as their primary style of footage.[18]Many of these vloggers are a part of the YouTube
Partner Program, which professionalizes the industry and allows for monetary gain from video production.[20] This professionalization
additionally helps increase exposure to various channels as well as creates a sense of stability within the field. Additionally, this
professionalization allows content creators to be deemed a credible source by their viewers. Furthermore, many vloggers have been able to
turn their channels into sustainable careers; in 2013, the highest paid vlogger brought in a minimum of $720,000 for the year.[21] Hollywood
is taking notice of this rising medium, and has placed its value ranked over other entertainment companies such as Marvel, which was
recently bought out by Disney as well.[22]

Anime
 Anime is a Japanese term for hand-drawn or computer animation. The word is the abbreviated pronunciation of
"animation" in Japanese, where this term references all animation.[1] Outside Japan, anime is used to refer
specifically to animation from Japan or as a Japanese-disseminated animation style often characterized by colorful
graphics, vibrant characters and fantastical themes.[2][3] Arguably, the culturally abstract approach to the word's
meaning may open up the possibility of anime produced in countries other than Japan.[4][5][6] For simplicity, many
Westerners strictly view anime as a Japanese animation product.[3] Some scholars suggest defining anime as
specifically or quintessentially Japanese may be related to a new form of orientalism.[7]
 The earliest commercial Japanese animation dates to 1917, and Japanese anime production has since continued
to increase steadily. The characteristic anime art style emerged in the 1960s with the works of Osamu Tezuka and
spread internationally in the late twentieth century, developing a large domestic and international audience. Anime
is distributed theatrically, by way of television broadcasts, directly to home media, and over the Internet. It is
classified into numerous genres targeting diverse broad and niche audiences.
 The anime industry consists of over 430 production studios, including major names like Studio Ghibli, Gainax,
and Toei Animation. Despite comprising only a fraction of Japan's domestic film market, anime makes up a majority
of Japanese DVDsales. It has also seen international success after the rise of English-dubbed programming. This
rise in international popularity has resulted in non-Japanese productions using the anime art style, but these works
are usually described as anime-influenced animation rather than anime proper.
 The opening and credits sequences of most anime television episodes are accompanied by Japanese
pop or rock songs, often by reputed bands. They may be written with the series in mind, but are also aimed at the
general music market, and therefore often allude only vaguely or not at all to the themes or plot of the series. Pop
and rock songs are also sometimes used as incidental music ("insert songs") in an episode, often to highlight
particularly important scenes.[82]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime
 Anime clubs gave rise to anime conventions in the 1990s with the "anime boom", a period marked by
increased popularity of anime.[104] These conventions are dedicated to anime and manga and include
elements like cosplay contests and industry talk panels.[105] Cosplay, a portmanteau for "costume play", is
not unique to anime and has become popular in contests and masquerades at anime
conventions.[106] Japanese culture and words have entered English usage through the popularity of the
medium, including otaku, a derogatory Japanese term commonly used in English to denote a fan of anime
and manga.[107] Another word that has arisen describing fans in the United States is wapanese meaning
White individuals who desire to be Japanese, or later known as weeaboo for individuals who demonstrate
a strong interest in Japanese anime subculture, which is a term that originated from abusive content
posted on the popular bulletin board website 4chan.org.[108]Anime enthusiasts have produced fan
fiction and fan art, including computer wallpaper and anime music videos.[109]
 Otaku (おたく/オタク) is a Japanese term for people with obsessive interests, commonly the anime and
manga fandom.
 Otaku subculture is a central theme of various anime and manga works, documentaries and academic
research. The subculture began in the 1980s as changing social mentalities and the nurturing of otaku
traits by Japanese schools combined with the resignation of such individuals to become social outcasts.
The subculture's birth coincided with the anime boom, after the release of works such as Mobile Suit
Gundam before it branched into Comic Market. The definition of otaku subsequently became more
complex, and numerous classifications of otaku emerged. In 2005, the Nomura Research Institute divided
otaku into twelve groups and estimated the size and market impact of each of these groups. Other
institutions have split it further or focus on a single otaku interest. These publications classify distinct
groups including anime, manga, camera, automobile, idol and electronics otaku. The economic impact of
otaku has been estimated to be as high as ¥2 trillion ($18 billion).[4]

Audience:
Age: The age is very varied
Gender: All
Social status: Middle class(technology like laptop)
Psychographic: Belongers.
Why would your project appeal to this person? Discuss each audience element in relation to content (why
would your product appeal to the age group? Why would your product appeal to the gender? Etc.)
Many people use Minecraft to socialise with people from all over the world as it is available to the whole world.
Minecraft is also therapeutic for people and can calm them down. There was a story of a child with autism who
created amazing worlds in Minecraft as it helped him be happy and keep his mind stable.
Of course, some YouTubers play Minecraft which can bring in more players. The Minecraft community is very large.
People can connect with one another using many chat apps such as Skype and Discord making it easier to create
friendships, they may never meet them in real life but they will always look forward to talking and playing Minecraft
with them.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Review your progress throughout the year- what skills and knowledge have you acquired?
Throughout this year the skills I have acquired are a deeper understanding of Photoshop, premier and started to use
Adobe After effects.
How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project?
I did the level 2 course last year and enjoyed print design and now I am level 3 yr. 1 I am improving the techniques
and knowledge from level 2 to help my project improve and look more detailed and realistic, using my own creations
e.g. Photos/designs I have made on Minecraft.
What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project?
The use of the software including “Adobe Photoshop” and “Adobe InDesign” will help me with making my article look
more professional and official. The use of these will be for the design and logo.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
I am planning on making a Minecraft magazine but mainly it will be about Minecraft Youtubers/Vloggers. The concept
is to advertise more about the youtubers and the game.
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project/
I will have to research how magazines are set up to look like and analyse how they’d grab the attention more of the
audience than other magazines.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final self-
reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes.
I would analyse what worked and what didn’t. I would make my product then look back and see if there
was anything to change.

Double page image ideas
Mock double page
 The double page is set up to have enough space for the facts and info I
want to provide for readers.
 In my real double page I want to use the layout plan but to add more
images of them together but also make it more colourful.
 The title is going to stretch across the two pages to make it bold and
colourful.

Reflection
 I like the colour scheme that I used but I found my layout plain and amateur. I will consider
change the font colour, size and legibility. I also plan on using more images and more
about Minecraft. I need more space between the header and footer and content. In my
final piece I will make it look professional and have “buttons” that take you to the different
sections of my website. I will consider an alternative background rather than plants –
something more “minecrafty” so people make the connection even more.

My final product looks great! I like the effects used on the

My double page spread is exactly how
I imagined it to be which is perfect for
me. The use of images to make sure
the text doesn’t look “blocky” I got

interesting ones and to also make sure
I included both YouTubers friendships,

Evaluation
I think overall this website was great, it looked very professional and I feel that it went very well, it
was hard to put it all together. In order to create the official look of it it had to look professional and
official. I Enjoyed making all the pixel art for my website. The links I made for the website are real
and links I have made. Joining everything up as a whole site took a while but I am proud of it. The
new use of tools and different sites helped broaden my experience and skills.
Due to time being short I didn’t have as much time as needed to make it perfect but I like it very
much.

  • 5. A bit about Minecraft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minecraft  Minecraft is a sandbox video game created and designed by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft allow players to build with a variety of different cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat.  Multiple gameplay modes are available, including a survival mode where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator mode where players can freely move throughout a world without being affected by gravity or collisions. The PC version of the game is noted for its modding scene, where a dedicated community creates new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets for the game.  Minecraft received praise from critics and has won numerous awards and accolades. Social media, parodies, adaptations, merchandise and the MineConconvention played large roles in popularizing the game. It has also been used in educational environments, especially in the realm of computing systems, as virtual computers and hardware devices have been built in it. As of February 2017, over 121 million copies have been sold across all platforms, making it the second best-selling video game of all time. In September 2014, Microsoftannounced a deal to buy Mojang and the Minecraft intellectual property for US$2.5 billion, with the acquisition completed two months later. Other games in the franchise, such as Minecraft: Story Mode, have also been released.
  • 6.  Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game.[14] However, there is an achievement system.[15] Gameplay is in the first-person perspective by default, and players have the option to play in third- person.[16] The game world is composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes and fluids—representing various materials, such as dirt, stone, ores, tree trunks, water and lava. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing these objects. These blocks are arranged in a 3D grid, while players can move freely around the world. Players can "mine" blocks and then place them elsewhere, which allows for constructions to be built.[17]  The game world is virtually infinite, and procedurally generated, using a map seed, as players explore it.  Minecraft was first released to the public on 17 May 2009, as a developmental release on TIGSource forums,[59] later becoming known as the Classic version. Further milestones dubbed as Survival Test, Indev and Infdev were released between September 2009 and February 2010, although the game saw updates in-between. The first major update, dubbed alpha version, was released on 28 June 2010. Although Persson maintained a day job with Jalbum.net at first, he later quit in order to work on Minecraft full-time as sales of the alpha version of the game expanded.[60] Persson continued to update the game with releases distributed to users automatically. These updates included new items, new blocks, new mobs, survival mode, and changes to the game's behaviour (e.g. how water flows).[60]  Social media sites such as YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit played a significant role in popularising Minecraft.[229] Research conducted by the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School of Communication showed that one-third of Minecraft players learned about the game via Internet videos.[230] In 2010, Minecraft- related videos began to gain influence on YouTube, often made by commentators. The videos usually contain screen-capture footage of the game and voice- overs.[231] Common coverage in the videos includes creations made by players, walkthroughs of various tasks, and parodies of works in popular culture. By May 2012, over 4 million Minecraft-related YouTube videos had been uploaded.[232] Some popular commentators have received employment at Machinima, a gaming video company that owns a highly watched entertainment channel on YouTube.[231] The Yogscast is a British organisation that regularly produces Minecraft videos; their YouTube channel has attained billions of views, and their panel at MineCon 2011 had the highest attendance.[231][233] Other well known YouTube personnel include Jordan Maron, who has created many Minecraft parodies, including "Minecraft Style", a parody of the internationally successful single "Gangnam Style" by South Korean rapper PSY.[234] Herobrine is a major community icon of Minecraft, who first appeared as a single image on 4chan's /v/ board. According to rumours, Herobrine appears in players' worlds and builds strange constructions.[235] However, Mojang has confirmed that Herobrine has never existed in Minecraft, and there are no plans to add Herobrine.[236]  Minecraft has been referenced by other video games, such as RuneScape,[citation needed] Torchlight II, Borderlands 2, Choplifter HD, Super Meat Boy, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Binding of Isaac, The Stanley Parable, and FTL: Faster Than Light.[237][238] It was also referenced by electronic music artist deadmau5 in his performances.[239] A simulation of the game was featured in Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y." music video.[240] The game is also referenced heavily in "Informative Murder Porn", the second episode of the seventeenth season of the animated television series South Park.[241] "Luca$", the seventeenth episode of the 25th season of the animated sitcom The Simpsons was inspired by Minecraft; Persson responded by tweeting "I'm not sure how I feel about it."[242] A bit about Minecraft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minecraft

  • 12. Vlogs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_blog  A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog[1] /vlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video,[2] and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. The vlog category is popular on YouTube.  Video logs (vlogs) also often take advantage of web syndication to allow for the distribution of video over the Internet using either the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for automatic aggregation and playback on mobile devices and personal computers (See video podcast).  Hosted in Los Angeles, California, VidCon is an annual convention that allows YouTube content creators and viewers to come together in order to share content ideas and business contacts.[15] The first VidCon event was held on July 10 and 11, 2010, and has now become the largest in-person gathering of internet creators, viewers, and representatives.[16] This convention realizes that the ways in which society entertains, educates, shares, and communicates are being revolutionized, and chooses to highlight this fact via panels, meet and greets, and talks given to audiences at the convention.[15  YouTube currently ranks among the top three most-visited sites on the web.[17] As a high traffic area for video bloggers, or vloggers, YouTube has created a platform for these participants to present their personal videos, which oftentimes are filmed using hand held point and shoot cameras.[18] The popularity of vlogs in the YouTube community has risen exponentially in the past few years;[19] out of the top 100 most subscribed YouTube channels, 17 provide vlogs as their primary style of footage.[18]Many of these vloggers are a part of the YouTube Partner Program, which professionalizes the industry and allows for monetary gain from video production.[20] This professionalization additionally helps increase exposure to various channels as well as creates a sense of stability within the field. Additionally, this professionalization allows content creators to be deemed a credible source by their viewers. Furthermore, many vloggers have been able to turn their channels into sustainable careers; in 2013, the highest paid vlogger brought in a minimum of $720,000 for the year.[21] Hollywood is taking notice of this rising medium, and has placed its value ranked over other entertainment companies such as Marvel, which was recently bought out by Disney as well.[22]
  • 13. “Blobs and stars” this is used to highlight the new update and advertisement Bold illustration which may appeal to both male and female as the characters, but the main focus are the girls, as the film is actually about these girls in school. Mast head is not as large as the image but still visible and it is in the actual font for “CLANNAD” Cover line is not as noticeable but you can defiantly see it and it is advertising new games and a certain Anime
  • 14. Anime  Anime is a Japanese term for hand-drawn or computer animation. The word is the abbreviated pronunciation of "animation" in Japanese, where this term references all animation.[1] Outside Japan, anime is used to refer specifically to animation from Japan or as a Japanese-disseminated animation style often characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters and fantastical themes.[2][3] Arguably, the culturally abstract approach to the word's meaning may open up the possibility of anime produced in countries other than Japan.[4][5][6] For simplicity, many Westerners strictly view anime as a Japanese animation product.[3] Some scholars suggest defining anime as specifically or quintessentially Japanese may be related to a new form of orientalism.[7]  The earliest commercial Japanese animation dates to 1917, and Japanese anime production has since continued to increase steadily. The characteristic anime art style emerged in the 1960s with the works of Osamu Tezuka and spread internationally in the late twentieth century, developing a large domestic and international audience. Anime is distributed theatrically, by way of television broadcasts, directly to home media, and over the Internet. It is classified into numerous genres targeting diverse broad and niche audiences.  The anime industry consists of over 430 production studios, including major names like Studio Ghibli, Gainax, and Toei Animation. Despite comprising only a fraction of Japan's domestic film market, anime makes up a majority of Japanese DVDsales. It has also seen international success after the rise of English-dubbed programming. This rise in international popularity has resulted in non-Japanese productions using the anime art style, but these works are usually described as anime-influenced animation rather than anime proper.  The opening and credits sequences of most anime television episodes are accompanied by Japanese pop or rock songs, often by reputed bands. They may be written with the series in mind, but are also aimed at the general music market, and therefore often allude only vaguely or not at all to the themes or plot of the series. Pop and rock songs are also sometimes used as incidental music ("insert songs") in an episode, often to highlight particularly important scenes.[82] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime
  • 15.  Anime clubs gave rise to anime conventions in the 1990s with the "anime boom", a period marked by increased popularity of anime.[104] These conventions are dedicated to anime and manga and include elements like cosplay contests and industry talk panels.[105] Cosplay, a portmanteau for "costume play", is not unique to anime and has become popular in contests and masquerades at anime conventions.[106] Japanese culture and words have entered English usage through the popularity of the medium, including otaku, a derogatory Japanese term commonly used in English to denote a fan of anime and manga.[107] Another word that has arisen describing fans in the United States is wapanese meaning White individuals who desire to be Japanese, or later known as weeaboo for individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in Japanese anime subculture, which is a term that originated from abusive content posted on the popular bulletin board website 4chan.org.[108]Anime enthusiasts have produced fan fiction and fan art, including computer wallpaper and anime music videos.[109]  Otaku (おたく/オタク) is a Japanese term for people with obsessive interests, commonly the anime and manga fandom.  Otaku subculture is a central theme of various anime and manga works, documentaries and academic research. The subculture began in the 1980s as changing social mentalities and the nurturing of otaku traits by Japanese schools combined with the resignation of such individuals to become social outcasts. The subculture's birth coincided with the anime boom, after the release of works such as Mobile Suit Gundam before it branched into Comic Market. The definition of otaku subsequently became more complex, and numerous classifications of otaku emerged. In 2005, the Nomura Research Institute divided otaku into twelve groups and estimated the size and market impact of each of these groups. Other institutions have split it further or focus on a single otaku interest. These publications classify distinct groups including anime, manga, camera, automobile, idol and electronics otaku. The economic impact of otaku has been estimated to be as high as ¥2 trillion ($18 billion).[4] Anime https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime

  • 21. Rationale (approx. 100 words) Review your progress throughout the year- what skills and knowledge have you acquired? Throughout this year the skills I have acquired are a deeper understanding of Photoshop, premier and started to use Adobe After effects. How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project? I did the level 2 course last year and enjoyed print design and now I am level 3 yr. 1 I am improving the techniques and knowledge from level 2 to help my project improve and look more detailed and realistic, using my own creations e.g. Photos/designs I have made on Minecraft. What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project? The use of the software including “Adobe Photoshop” and “Adobe InDesign” will help me with making my article look more professional and official. The use of these will be for the design and logo.
  • 22. Project Concept (approx. 200 words) What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make? I am planning on making a Minecraft magazine but mainly it will be about Minecraft Youtubers/Vloggers. The concept is to advertise more about the youtubers and the game. What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project/ I will have to research how magazines are set up to look like and analyse how they’d grab the attention more of the audience than other magazines.
  • 23. Evaluation (approx. 50 words) How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final self- reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes. I would analyse what worked and what didn’t. I would make my product then look back and see if there was anything to change.
  • 27. Reflection  For my magazine mock I was experimenting with fonts.  I used my own build for background  I need more colour  I will use of bubbles on my real one to make the page bright and stand out if it were to be a real magazine on the shelf.
  • 30.  The double page is set up to have enough space for the facts and info I want to provide for readers.  In my real double page I want to use the layout plan but to add more images of them together but also make it more colourful.  The title is going to stretch across the two pages to make it bold and colourful. Reflection
  • 32. Reflection  I like the colour scheme that I used but I found my layout plain and amateur. I will consider change the font colour, size and legibility. I also plan on using more images and more about Minecraft. I need more space between the header and footer and content. In my final piece I will make it look professional and have “buttons” that take you to the different sections of my website. I will consider an alternative background rather than plants – something more “minecrafty” so people make the connection even more.

The main image in the background defiantly shows it is Minecraft and the actual title font in Minecraft evenings which is the actual Minecraft font. Using the images with the title helps people relate to the actual genre of magazine.
  • 40. Double page My double page spread is exactly how I imagined it to be which is perfect for me. The use of images to make sure the text doesn’t look “blocky” I got research about my YouTubers and cut it down to important facts and interesting ones and to also make sure I included both YouTubers friendships, logos and Minecraft characters. I enjoyed finding out the facts about my favourite YouTubers.

In order to create the official look of it it had to look professional and official. I Enjoyed making all the pixel art for my website. The links I made for the website are real and links I have made. Joining everything up as a whole site took a while but I am proud of it. The new use of tools and different sites helped broaden my experience and skills. Due to time being short I didn’t have as much time as needed to make it perfect but I like it very much.
