Working Title:
Jumping to ‘wild’ conclusions.
Audience:
My audience is for all genders but the main characters are female and male. This means the
audience can relate to them. The age is from 8-14. The social status is for middle class as lower
may not have the right equipment as this will be a video and they may not own a laptop/computer.
The psychographic group is mainly balanced and socially conscious type A.
My product will appeal to the age as the story line is about 12 year olds going on a camping trip.
I plan on making a website too. This website will be child friendly and educational so if children of
lower class can access it on school computers.
Rationale
Because my project is a stop motion so requires camera skills, timing, planning and includes a
script and storyboard.
Project Concept
I am making a stop-motion animation about these two children who go on a camping trip and in the
early light get mistaken for a bear by the wildlife explorers. This was made to show friendship,
diversity and adventure. The research I will be doing will be on Stop motion animation and web
design as I was also planning on making a website for the wildlife explorers and making it child
friendly and educational.
The reason I chose children was to show friendship, teamwork, and enjoying the environment as
children are now more focused on electrics than going outside. This is to show the adventure and
fun that children cooped up inside are possibly missing out on.
Evaluation
I plan on evaluating my work by seeing how smoothly I made the transitions between each still
image, timing and how smooth the actual movements of my characters are smooth and don’t look
“robotic” or “glitchy”.
