4. Scene No. Approx timing What happens Visual notes Audio notes
1 10 seconds Two characters
chasing each other.
I will create long
shots for this scene.
Explore different
sound effects
2 30 seconds One character bumps
in to some one and
apologises
continuously.
I will use a number of
close up shots in this
scene. I have decided
to do this because I
feel as if it will
connect with my
audience more.
I will create
sound effects
needed for this
scene
3 55-60
seconds
One character falls
down the stairs and
unfortunately dies, the
other character says
“That wasn’t suppose
to happen”
I will use a long shot
during this scene,
when character falls
down the stairs. I will
then have a close up
shot of the character
on the floor.
8. the arrangement of the scenery, props, etc. on the stage of a
theatrical production or on the set of a film.
the setting or surroundings of an event.
Different types of lighting:
Created by using only the key and back lights
Produces sharp contrasts of light and dark areas
Deep, distinct shadows/ silhouettes are formed
9. Your storyboard should bring your idea to life
Provide an idea of the sequencing of you film
Provides a basis for production

Alternatively, hand draw or photograph your storyboard and scan or
copy to insert it onto your slides
There are lots of tips collected together on Blackboard!
10. Here is my story board I have created to show each scene, I will use a
number of different shots throughout my filming process. I use a number
of different camera angels throughout my filming.
11. Here are a few angle shots I plan to do during my filming, I will explore a
number of different shots with each scene that I shoot.
12.
13. I will use a number of different camera movements during my
filming process. The camera movements that I will use are “Pan”
and “Tilt” I have decided to use these shots because I feel as if
they work well within my film.
16. For my film I have chosen Louis and Ben to be the two main
actors within my film, I have chosen them because I feel as if they
would best fitting for the acting required in my film.
17. I have decided, to shoot my film in two different locations, college
corridor and the college stairwell. I have chosen these two locations
because I feel as if they have the correct setting for my films genre
and general story. Before I starting filming in these locations I will
create a risk assessment.
18. Risk Control Measure
ps, trips and falls while using
uipment/looking through viewfinders.
• Ensure you are familiar with your surroundings,
any planned movements and that the location
is safe.
• Any camera movements should employ a
spotter for the camera operator, directing the
movement safely.
nual handling carrying equipment • Do not carry/move equipment beyond your
comfort level.
• Request help when transporting
equipment/share amongst crew.
• Adhere to manual handling methods for
carrying items.
t/stolen equipment • Do not leave any equipment unattended.
ctrical equipment, extension/data cables
d plugs- electric shock
• Do not touch any equipment that appears faulty
and report it to the tutor/technician.

22. As far as props and costumes go, I will use different types of
clothing that will be fitting the location I will be filming in, I
want need any props for my film, a number of different items
will need to be moved to the location, the camera, tripod.
24. I will create all of my own sound effects for my film, Diegetic
sound means the sound used within the world of the character, for
example I will create the sound of running throughout scenes.
25. When I have filmed all of my footage, I will then begin to look for
different sound effects, in this section I will focus on Non-Digetic
Sound, this means sound effects not based on the world around
my characters within my film. The Non-Digetic Sound I will use
within my movie is different types of music that I think will fit with
my film and its genre.
