In this posuk the Torah is described as both rain and dew
which are both sources of nourishment, however their causes are
different. Rainfall is formed from previously evaporated water. On
the contrast, dew appears regardless of previous evaporation.
Likewise in Torah there is a section which is similar to rain and
a section which is similar to dew. The section which is simliar to
rain is the revealed section of Torah in which one's achievments
are considered and is drawn based to on oneโ€™s efforts in learning
and understanding the Torah, yagata u'matzasa ta'amin.
the dew section of torah is commonly known as the inner section
of torah pnimyus haTorah which is drawn [flows] regardless to
oneโ€™s previous efforts.
Consequently we find that by techiyas hameisim Hashem will
revive the dead using tal Torah, the dew of Torah (shabbos 88b) and
therefore every single Yid without difference of his ruchniyusdike
level will arise by techiyas hameisim as the mishnah says: 'kol
yisroel yesh lohem chelek lโ€™olam haba'. Since this part of Torah is
drawn regardless to any previous human efforts.
Accordingly just like before shabbos we taste from every delicacy
so too now erev yom shekulo shabbos we must taste from the
giluyim of Moshiach through learning the teachings of chassidus,
pnimiyus haTorah the dew section of Torah.

All the Maggid's
ways and activities
were directed towards
Hashem's will. Even simple
activities, such as the seating
arrangement of his talmidim,
all corresponded to supernal
combinations and the source
of neshamos.
When he began to build a
shul he told the workmen,
when it was an auspicious time
above, to build. When he saw
that it was not an auspicious
time, he asked them to stop
working.
After the shul was built,
he entered the shul and
davened the first te'filla
there, for the coming of
Moshiach. When he left the
shul he said, "I can bring
Moshiach right now but it
would require treading in
Yiddishe blood until the
ankles."

LIVING LESSONS
In the sicha of 10th Teves 5741 the Rebbe spoke at length about Yaakov Avinu's wish to reveal the keitz
to his sons, and why in the end he didn't.
Since, if Yaakov would reveal the keitz โ€“ that it is many years after Yaakovโ€™s time (as we see that now
the 10th of Teves 5741 and Moshiach is not yet here), this would only make them depressed, so why did
he want to reveal the keitz?
The Rebbe then explaind how we must say, that if Yaakov would have told them the keitz, Moshiach
would have come much faster, since they would have worked harder and add more in their avoda in
order to hasten the geulah.
what is the advantage 'ื•ื‘ื›ืœืœ ืžื” ืชื•ืขืœืช ื‘ื”ื’ื™ืœื•ื™?' : On the first paragraph the Rebbe added in his handwriting
of Yaakov revealing the keitz?
Afterwards the Manichim wrote: We didn't understand if the meaning is that Yaakov would say
an earlier keitz, or he would tell them the keitz as the time of yetzias mitzraim (which was
supposed to be a geulah nitzchis), and with adding in their work they would be redeemed
before the time (keitz) which Yaakov told them (just as today we have โ€œBe'itoโ€ which is the time-keitz,
and โ€œAchishenaโ€ โ€“ before the keitz).
that Hashem (ืžื’ืœื” ืงืฅ ืฉื ืงื‘ืข) The Rebbe answered that Yaakov would tell them the original keitz
planed, and if they will add in there avodah, Moshiach would have come sooner.
On this occasion the Rebbe also
commented the following:

Why radical statements? Why extreme proclamations? Moshe Rabeinu, Aharon Hakohen and the Frierdiker Rebbe will โ€œwake
and lead us immediately to Eretz Yisroel! Doesnโ€™t this sound like the fruit of an imagination (ื•ืจื ื ื•) โ€ amidst โ€œjoyous song (ื”ืงื™ืฆื•) โ€ up
working overtime? Arenโ€™t these fanatical?
Our time is a radical time! The thick, black clouds which hover over our heads both physically, and even more spiritually, call for holy extremism
to balance the scale, they serve as a call for drastic action to tip the spiritual enemy. The Rebbe says that the concepts of Moshiach and geulah will
do the job. Our role is to dress what seems to be fantasies in intellectual and practical so that it be received by the world in the best possible way.
Then the Rebbe goes on to negate the claim that we need not be overly hope and daven for the coming of Moshiach for we didnโ€™t see this by our
parents. This would have been a good claim until this shabbos, before Shabbos, however, the timely response arrived.
What sort of reasoning is this? Bring Moshiach . . ื›ึผึดื™ ืœึดื™ืฉืื•ึผืขึธืชึฐืšึธ ืงึดื•ึดึผื™ื ื•ึผ ื›ึผึธืœ ื”ึทื™ึผื•ืโ€œ : There is a difficult line we say in shemonah esrei
for we are waiting! Shouldnโ€™t it say โ€œbring Moshiach for we have fulfilled many Mitzvosโ€, or the like? The Chida explains that in a situation where
there is no other virtue in which merit the Yidden should be redeemed from golus, the very hope and yearning they express for geulah will trigger
their geulah.
The Chida is a posek in both nigleh and nistar, as is clearly noticeable in his seforim which quote from both and determines between them.
Moreover, we do not find anyone who argues with this ruling of the Chida, thus it is not subject to variation of minhagim, this is a Halacha in Torah
that yearning for the coming of Moshiach is what will actually usher in the geulah.

The Rebbe Rashab connected the saying of the famous hemshech
"Yom Tov Shel Rosh HaShana Sh'Chal Lihiyos B'Shabbos โ€“ 5666"
in that particular year to the keitz (time that Moshiach is said to
come) which is mentioned in a number of seforim about that year.

Rainfall is formed from previously evaporated water. On the contrast, dew appears regardless of previous evaporation. Likewise in Torah there is a section which is similar to rain and a section which is similar to dew. The section which is simliar to rain is the revealed section of Torah in which one's achievments are considered and is drawn based to on oneโ€™s efforts in learning and understanding the Torah, yagata u'matzasa ta'amin. the dew section of torah is commonly known as the inner section of torah pnimyus haTorah which is drawn [flows] regardless to oneโ€™s previous efforts. Consequently we find that by techiyas hameisim Hashem will revive the dead using tal Torah, the dew of Torah (shabbos 88b) and therefore every single Yid without difference of his ruchniyusdike level will arise by techiyas hameisim as the mishnah says: 'kol yisroel yesh lohem chelek lโ€™olam haba'. Since this part of Torah is drawn regardless to any previous human efforts. Accordingly just like before shabbos we taste from every delicacy so too now erev yom shekulo shabbos we must taste from the giluyim of Moshiach through learning the teachings of chassidus, pnimiyus haTorah the dew section of Torah. (Based on Ma'amer Ato Horeiso 5746 โ€“ Meluket 1 page 557) All the Maggid's ways and activities were directed towards Hashem's will. Even simple activities, such as the seating arrangement of his talmidim, all corresponded to supernal combinations and the source of neshamos. When he began to build a shul he told the workmen, when it was an auspicious time above, to build. When he saw that it was not an auspicious time, he asked them to stop working. After the shul was built, he entered the shul and davened the first te'filla there, for the coming of Moshiach. When he left the shul he said, "I can bring Moshiach right now but it would require treading in Yiddishe blood until the ankles." )Sipurei Chassidim โ€“ Perlov( LIVING LESSONS In the sicha of 10th Teves 5741 the Rebbe spoke at length about Yaakov Avinu's wish to reveal the keitz to his sons, and why in the end he didn't. Since, if Yaakov would reveal the keitz โ€“ that it is many years after Yaakovโ€™s time (as we see that now the 10th of Teves 5741 and Moshiach is not yet here), this would only make them depressed, so why did he want to reveal the keitz? The Rebbe then explaind how we must say, that if Yaakov would have told them the keitz, Moshiach would have come much faster, since they would have worked harder and add more in their avoda in order to hasten the geulah. what is the advantage 'ื•ื‘ื›ืœืœ ืžื” ืชื•ืขืœืช ื‘ื”ื’ื™ืœื•ื™?' : On the first paragraph the Rebbe added in his handwriting of Yaakov revealing the keitz? Afterwards the Manichim wrote: We didn't understand if the meaning is that Yaakov would say an earlier keitz, or he would tell them the keitz as the time of yetzias mitzraim (which was supposed to be a geulah nitzchis), and with adding in their work they would be redeemed before the time (keitz) which Yaakov told them (just as today we have โ€œBe'itoโ€ which is the time-keitz, and โ€œAchishenaโ€ โ€“ before the keitz). that Hashem (ืžื’ืœื” ืงืฅ ืฉื ืงื‘ืข) The Rebbe answered that Yaakov would tell them the original keitz planed, and if they will add in there avodah, Moshiach would have come sooner. On this occasion the Rebbe also commented the following: Itโ€™s very wonderous and surprising โ€“ that all this needs to be specified (after more than 10 years of learning) and if not etc.!!

Moshe Rabeinu, Aharon Hakohen and the Frierdiker Rebbe will โ€œwake and lead us immediately to Eretz Yisroel! Doesnโ€™t this sound like the fruit of an imagination (ื•ืจื ื ื•) โ€ amidst โ€œjoyous song (ื”ืงื™ืฆื•) โ€ up working overtime? Arenโ€™t these fanatical? Our time is a radical time! The thick, black clouds which hover over our heads both physically, and even more spiritually, call for holy extremism to balance the scale, they serve as a call for drastic action to tip the spiritual enemy. The Rebbe says that the concepts of Moshiach and geulah will do the job. Our role is to dress what seems to be fantasies in intellectual and practical so that it be received by the world in the best possible way. Then the Rebbe goes on to negate the claim that we need not be overly hope and daven for the coming of Moshiach for we didnโ€™t see this by our parents. This would have been a good claim until this shabbos, before Shabbos, however, the timely response arrived. What sort of reasoning is this? Bring Moshiach . . ื›ึผึดื™ ืœึดื™ืฉืื•ึผืขึธืชึฐืšึธ ืงึดื•ึดึผื™ื ื•ึผ ื›ึผึธืœ ื”ึทื™ึผื•ืโ€œ : There is a difficult line we say in shemonah esrei for we are waiting! Shouldnโ€™t it say โ€œbring Moshiach for we have fulfilled many Mitzvosโ€, or the like? The Chida explains that in a situation where there is no other virtue in which merit the Yidden should be redeemed from golus, the very hope and yearning they express for geulah will trigger their geulah. The Chida is a posek in both nigleh and nistar, as is clearly noticeable in his seforim which quote from both and determines between them. Moreover, we do not find anyone who argues with this ruling of the Chida, thus it is not subject to variation of minhagim, this is a Halacha in Torah that yearning for the coming of Moshiach is what will actually usher in the geulah.
