This document provides instructions for importing text files from online databases into RefWorks. It uses the NCBI database as an example. The steps are to conduct a search in PubMed for relevant articles, select an article, export it in MEDLINE format, save the file locally, then use the import function in RefWorks to upload the text file and add the reference to a folder. Following these steps allows users to import references from databases not directly supported by RefWorks.
