  4. 4. Click link to “Get the Group Code”
  5. 5. Login with your IT Username and password

  7. 7. Create an Account<br />Go to red login box on left-hand side – NOTthe yellow box in the middle of the screen<br />Click Sign up for an Individual Account<br />Create a unique username and password (does not have to be associated with your UofC IT account)<br />

Direct Export from Google Scholar<br />Make sure cookies are enabled to allow setting of preferences in Google Scholar<br />From the Google Scholar search screen click on Scholar Preferences.<br />At the bottom of the screen, in the Bibliography Manager area, select Reforks in the pull-down menu<br />Save your preference.<br />Search results will now display an “Export to RefWorks link”<br />

Importing References: Direct Export from EBSCOHost<br />After selecting the EBSCO database(s) you wish to search, conduct a search.<br />Select several records to import by clicking on the “Add To Folder” link on the bottom of the records you wish to add.<br />Click on the “Folder,” which is located either at the very top of the screen or on the right-hand side.<br />Click on Export (white paper with green arrow).<br />Select Direct Export to RefWorks.<br />Click the Save button.<br />Your records should be imported into your Last Imported Folder in RefWorks.<br />

Importing from: ProQuest<br />After selecting the ProQuest database(s) you wish to search, conduct a search.<br />Select records to import by clicking on the empty box next to citation<br />Click on “Export” at the top of the search results.<br />Select Export Directly to Refworks.<br />Once logged in, your records will be imported into your Last Imported Folder in RefWorks.<br />
