This document summarizes an experimental study that tested 9 high-strength concrete beams to evaluate formulas for minimum flexural reinforcement. The beams varied in concrete compressive strength (50, 75, and 100 MPa) and flexural reinforcement ratio (50-100% of the minimum specified by ACI 363R-35). Instrumentation measured load, deflection, and steel strains. Results showed a 25% reduction to the ACI 363R-35 limit provided satisfactory behavior in terms of cracking patterns, deflections and steel strains, suggesting current codes overestimate minimum reinforcement requirements for high-strength concrete beams. The experimental data was also compared to requirements in other codes and studies.
The purpose of the experimental work presented in this study is to study the effect
of concrete compressive strength and steel reinforcement ratio on capacity and
deflection of reinforced concrete two-way slabs. Three steel reinforcement ratios are
considered which are minimum, maximum and average of them in addition to two
concrete compressive strength
values of 20 and 30 MPa. The results from
experimental work show that increasing the reinforcing steel ratio leads to increase the
ultimate capacity of the slab in addition to decrease the maximum deflection. For slabs
with
= 20 MPa, increasing the reinforcing steel ratio from the minimum to the
maximum, i.e. 600 %, leads to increase ultimate capacity by about 156 % and decrease
maximum deflection by about 52 %. Wheras, For slabs with
= 30 MPa, increasing
the reinforcing steel ratio from the minimum to the maximum, i.e. 900 %, leads to
increase ultimate capacity by about 155 % and decrease maximum central deflection
by about 27 %. In addition, matmatical expresions for load-deflection relationships are
presented in the current study

Finite element simulation and investigation of thin wall impeller casting ija...Dr.Vikas Deulgaonkar
In case of casting of thin wall impeller structure, the prediction of shrinkage defect is a difficult operation and failure of such thin wall structure is a commonly encountered problem. Such failures are due to non-uniform heat transfer rate. The uniformity of heat transfer rate may enhance by placing the runner at appropriate position and riser based on the geometrical attributes. An attempt is made for the analysis of optimization in the placement of runner and riser. The present work focuses on the simulation of aluminum thin wall pump impeller blade using commercially available software (ANSYS) and experiments for optimum placement of risers and reducing defects.
comparative study of steel I - girder and prestressed steel I - girder as per...Dr. Dhara shah
Prestressing of structural elements especially steel girders improve their load bearing capacity and rigidity along
with reduction in material consumption and overall cost for the same loading. The present study aims at preparing
expedient interface for design of Steel I-Girder and Prestressed Steel I-Girder as per IRC24: 2010, encompassed through
parametric study of two lane road bridges for varying span to depth ratios, considering 15m, 20m, 25m and 30m of spans.
The analysis is done considering dead load, superimposed load and moving load as per class A-2 lane / class 70R loading.
Design of prestressed steel I-girder is done by varying the diameter and number of strands. 9.5 mm, 11.1 mm, 12.7 mm and
15.2 mm diameter class B 7-ply strands are considered in 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 numbers of groups. The cost comparison is
done as per prevailing market rates. A definite increase in the bending capacity of steel I-girder is found when prestressed
with strands, without any enhancement in shear capacity. Prestressed steel I-girder provides shallower depth of the girder
for same L/D ratio. With increase in the strand area and number of strands, bending capacity increases for same L/D ratio.
Prestressed steel I- girder shows cost saving up to 50% for 15m span, 37% for 20m span, 28% for 25m span and 20% for
30m span. Cost of girder per meter length decreases when applying the prestressing force with increase in L/D ratio.

Analysis of failure behavior of shear connection in push-out specimen by thre...IJERDJOURNAL
ABSTRACT:- This study analyzes the failure mechanism of shear connection by three-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA) of push-out specimens that was practically unaffordable experimentally or by twodimensional FEA. For the analysis of the failure behavior of the compression strut formed in the loaded concrete member, the three-dimensional principal stress space is transformed into two-dimensional space by means of the relation between the hydrostatic stress and the deviatoric stress. The analysis of the stress state in the compression strut revealed that the deviatoric stress increases with larger load particularly in the concrete surrounding the lower part of the shear stud. Accordingly, bearing failure of concrete occurred locally within a limited region in the slab. The steep increase of the deviatoric stress accompanying the increase of the load resulted in the failure of concrete around the lower part of the shear stud, which in turn provoked the deformation and the development of bending moment of the shear stud. Finally, plastic hinge formed in the shear stud leading it to reach its limit state. The proposed finite element model can also be used to model the shear connection of the composite beam and, the proposed stress analysis method can be applied to analyze its composite action behavior.
Experimental Investigation of Lateral Pressure on Vertical Formwork Systems u...IJTET Journal
The modeling of pressure distribution of fresh concrete poured in vertical formwork are rather dynamic than complex. Many researchers had worked on the pressure distribution modeling of concrete and formulated empirical relationship factors like formwork height, rate of pour, consistency classes of concrete. However, in the current scenario, most of high rise construction uses self compacting concrete(SCC) which is a special concrete which utilizes not only mineral and chemical admixtures but also varied aggregate proportions and hence modeling pressure distribution of SCC over other concrete in vertical formwork systems is necessitated. This research seeks to bridge the gap between the theoretical formulation of pressure distribution with the actual modeled (scaled) vertical formwork systems. The pressure distribution of SCC in the laboratory will be determined using pressure sensors, modeled and analyzed.

STRENGTH OF REINFORCED CONCRETE CORBELS – A PARAMETRIC STUDYIAEME Publication
Corbels are cantilever with small shear span to depth ratio (a/d) projected from
columns or walls to support precast members like beams, girders or dapped end beams.
Shear friction (SF) method is used to analyze and design reinforced concrete (RC)
corbels. Because of the small value of a/d, corbels are treated as deep beams. Using
strut and tie modeling (STM), they can be analyzed. In both SF and STM, there are
many parameters that affect the behavior of the corbels such as a/d, width (b),
compressive strength of concrete (f'c), yield strength of reinforcement (fy), and
horizontal to vertical load ratio (H/V). In the current study, according to ACI 318-14
provisions, the effect of these parameters were investigated using both SF and STM. It
was found that the shear capacity increases by about 32.6%, 26.3% and 31.2% for SF
and by about 54.1%, 50.4% and 30.9% for STM with increasing width, compressive
strength, and yield strength by about (100-300) %, (15-35) % and (400-600) %,
respectively. Whereas, shear capacity decreases by about 58.54% and 48.7% for SF
and about 59.4% and 33.2% for STM with increasing a/d and H/V by about (0.1-1.9)%
and (0-1)%, respectively. It was also seen that the results obtained by STM is more

Analytical Study of Steel Fibre Reinforced Rigid Pavements Under Moving Loadsijsrd.com
Nowadays, the application of steel fibers in concrete has increased gradually as an engineering material. The knowledge is not only necessary to provide safe, efficient and economic design for the present, but it also to serve as a rational basis for extended future applications. In this study, steel fibre reinforced rigid pavements are analyzed for stresses developed due to Moving loads & temperature differentials. Comparison of curling stresses in SFRC with conventional concrete is carried out. All the models are generated and analysis is carried out using the ANSYS software. Parametric study for the effect of change in slab length & slab thickness of pavements on curling stresses is also done. Curling stresses due to Linear & Non linear temperature distribution in top & bottom layer of SFRC pavement slabs are also calculated. Frictional stresses in SFRC due to uniform temperature differential are almost same as conventional concrete. Analysis results shows, SFRC develops more stresses as compared to conventional concrete & Non linear temperature distribution develops more stresses than linear temperature distribution. SFRC pavements are analyzed for Single axle moving loads for two different speeds. Results reveal that the loading stresses are higher, when the loads are at starting position of edge.

NONLINEAR FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE SLABS UNDER PUNCHIN...IAEME Publication
This paper presents an implementation of a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element model for evaluating the behavior of reinforced concrete slabs under centric load. The concrete was idealized by using eight-nodded solid elements. While flexural reinforcement and the shear were modeled as line elements, a perfected bond between solid elements and line elements was assumed. The nonlinear behavior of concrete in compression is simulated by an elasto-plastic work-hardening model, and in tension a suitable post-cracking model based on tension stiffening and shear retention models are employed. The steel was simulated using an elastic-full plastic model. The validity of the theoretical formulations and the program used was verified through comparison with available experimental data, and the agreement has proven to be good. A parametric study has been also carried out to investigate the influence of the slab thickness on column-slab connection response

SHEAR PERFORMANCE OF FIBER REINFORCED SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE DEEP BEAMSIAEME Publication
The self-compacting concrete (SCC) is the newest innovating category of high performance concrete. The shear behavior of Fiber Reinforced Self-Compacted Concrete (FRSCC) deep beams was investigated. The experimental program consisted of twelve simply supported beams tested up to failure under four-point load. The key parameters covered in this investigation were steel fibers ratios (0.0, 0.50, 0.75 & 1.00%) and the effective shear span to depth ratio; a/d that varied from 0.6 to 1.0. Also, the main flexure reinforcement ratio was variable (1.0, 1.60 and 2.20 percent). In addition, vertical and horizontal web reinforcement effect was investigated. The mid-span deflection, cracks, reinforcement and concrete strains of the tested beams were recorded and compared. Test results pointed out that the steel fibers enhanced the cracking load, ultimate capacity, displacement and energy absorption of the tested FRSCC deep beams.

There appears to have been no review made of existing test data in which the size effect in punching has been given any special consideration and the proposed paper seeks to fill this gap. Its objectives are to set out the current state of knowledge on size effects and the parameters that influence them by considering of experimental results of 87 reinforced concrete flat slabs without shear reinforcement. These tests are carefully selected to form a large database, including specimens with a significant variation of effective depth. These experimental results are compared with design codes of EUROCODE 2, FIB Model 2010 and to the Critical Shear Crack Theory (CSCT) by Muttoni et al. The comparison show that both EC2 and CSCT have good prediction to test results
while MC90 is rather underestimate the punching shear strength of thinner slab compared to EC2 particularly for reinforcement ratio less than 0.1% and this is due to ignoring the limit on the factor of size effect beyond of 2.0.

SUGGESTING DEFLECTION EXPRESSIONS FOR RC 2-WAY SLABSIAEME Publication
In addition, matmatical expresions for load-deflection relationships are
presented in the current study.

Minimum shear reinforcement for optimum ductility of reinforced concrete beamseSAT Journals
Abstract Failures in reinforced concrete (RC) structures under transverse shear forces are proved to be catastrophic with the presence of web reinforcement. The minimum web reinforcement recommended by several codes of practice has been intended to maintain adequate strength and deflection ductility after the formation of diagonal cracking and to contain widening of the diagonal cracking. However, the expressions for estimating the minimum shear reinforcement in the codes of practice are based on the experimental data base observed on testing of small size beams made of normal strength concrete (NSC). Such code provisions need to be reinvestigated on large size beams made of high strength concrete (HSC). Further, there has been lack of consensus on the quantity of minimum shear reinforcement to be provided by different codes of practice, as they differ significantly in respect of HSC members. In this paper, many factors influencing the minimum shear reinforcement required in RC beams have been studied. An expression has been proposed incorporating a wide range of parameters. A comparison of the minimum shear reinforcement predicted by the proposed expression has been made with the codes of practice. The influence of shear reinforcement on the ductility of RC beams of varying sizes has been investigated. The optimum shear reinforcement index has been found to be somewhere between 0.45 and 0.5. Ductility of RC beams increases with increasing the shear reinforcement index. Small size beams exhibited significant ductility for the given shear reinforcement index. Keywords: Minimum shear reinforcement, reserve strength, ductility, RC beams, HSC

NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON THE PUNCHING BEHAVIOR OF RC FLAT SLABS STRENGTHENI...IAEME Publication
In this paper, the effectiveness of textile-reinforced mortar (TRM) and fiberreinforced
polymer (FRP), as a means of improving the punching behavior of
reinforced concrete flat slabs were numerically investigated. Finite element (FE)
model using ABAQUS computer program was developed to analyze eight half-scaled
slabs, in terms of load-carrying capacity, ductility, stiffness, and crack patterns. These
eight specimens were divided into two groups (G1 and G2) with four specimens for
each of them. Specimens of G1 was similar to that of G2 in all details but differ in the
eccentricity of the applied load. Specimens of G1 were tested with concentric load,
while these of G2 were tested with 150 mm eccentricity. For each group, one specimen
was built as control (unstrengthened), one was strengthened by FRP-sheet, and the
other two was strengthened by TRM-jacket with two different mesh opening (10 and
20 mm). The results obtained from FE analysis showed that the efficiency of TRM in
increasing the punching shear capacity of strengthened slabs was less than that of
FRP. In addition, the slabs strengthened by TRM showed stiffer behavior than that
strengthened by FRP, but lesser ductile. TRM effectiveness was sensitive to the mesh
size of the textile. When the mesh size decreased, stiffness was increased and ductility
was decreased.
Stress Analysis of Automotive Chassis with Various ThicknessesIOSR Journals
Abstract : This paper presents, stress analysis of a ladder type low loader truck chassis structure consisting of
C-beams design for application of 7.5 tonne was performed by using FEM. The commercial finite element
package CATIA version 5 was used for the solution of the problem. To reduce the expenses of the chassis of the
trucks, the chassis structure design should be changed or the thickness should be decreased. Also determination
of the stresses of a truck chassis before manufacturing is important due to the design improvement. In order to
achieve a reduction in the magnitude of stress at critical point of the chassis frame, side member thickness,
cross member thickness and position of cross member from rear end were varied. Numerical results showed that
if the thickness change is not possible, changing the position of cross member may be a good alternative.
Computed results are then compared to analytical calculation, where it is found that the maximum deflection
agrees well with theoretical approximation but varies on the magnitude aspect.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ANCHORAGE BOND IN HIGH STRENGTH REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS IAEME Publication
This paper discuses experimentally the effect of steel bar diameter and embedment length on
the bond stresses, bond stress versus slip relation, failure pattern and load versus deflection
response of high strength reinforced concrete beams with dimensions (100 mm width x200 mm
height x1100 length). Four beams specimens were provided with three embedment lengths (80
mm), (100 mm) and (120 mm) in addition to two different bar diameters (10mm) and (16mm). The
test results concluded that the bond stresses and the relative displacement decrease with increasing
the embedment length and bar diameter.
Comparative Study on Anchorage in Reinforced Concrete Using Codes of Practice...IJERA Editor
The evaluations of anchorage strength of bars in reinforced concrete are varied in codes of practice and
equations by researchers on the base of their approaches and philosophies.
This paper (Part I) aims to have a comparative study between the predictions by codes of practice of BS8110
and EC2 and those equations by Darwin et al, Morita and Fuji, Batayneh and Nielsen and results of 164 tests
from literature.
In this part the case of straight anchorage bars without transverse pressure is considered. Some major parameters
including compressive strength, and in terms of ratio of concrete cover to bar diameter and ratio of anchorage
length to bar diameter , are addressed in detail.
Although various parameters are involved in anchorage design equations, it is observed that every code has
merit over the other codes in some aspect. The presented discussion highlights the major areas of differences
which need attentions in the future for more investigations.
The main conclusion has been presented in part II to include the study of straight anchorages with transverse
pressure. The conclusions should cover the both cases to obtain the fair assessments for bond strength by those
expressions used in this study.

This experimental work aims at presenting load-deflection expressions for the
concrete beams that reinforced with three different reinforcement ratios of ACI 318-
14, which are minimum, maximum and the average of them. Three groups of beams
were cast, each group contained three beam specimens. Three types of loading are
used, 1-concentrated force, 2-concentrated forces and partial uniformly distributed
load. It is also seen that, when reinforcing ratio increases from minimum to
maximum, in case of 1-concentrated force, ultimate capacity increases by about 280%
and deflection decreases by about 33%, respectively. Whereas, in case of 2-
concentrated forces, ultimate capacity increases by about 258% and deflection
decreases by about 50%, respectively. Finally, in case of uniformly distributed load,
ultimate capacity increases by about 289% and deflection decreases by about 28%,

BROAD UNEXPOSED SKILLS OF TRANSGENDER ENTREPRENEURSIAEME Publication
Since ages gender difference is always a debatable theme whether caused by nature, evolution or environment. The birth of a transgender is dreadful not only for the child but also for their parents. The pain of living in the wrong physique and treated as second class victimized citizen is outrageous and fully harboured with vicious baseless negative scruples. For so long, social exclusion had perpetuated inequality and deprivation experiencing ingrained malign stigma and besieged victims of crime or violence across their life spans. They are pushed into the murky way of life with a source of eternal disgust, bereft sexual potency and perennial fear. Although they are highly visible but very little is known about them. The common public needs to comprehend the ravaged arrogance on these insensitive souls and assist in integrating them into the mainstream by offering equal opportunity, treat with humanity and respect their dignity. Entrepreneurship in the current age is endorsing the gender fairness movement. Unstable careers and economic inadequacy had inclined one of the gender variant people called Transgender to become entrepreneurs. These tiny budding entrepreneurs resulted in economic transition by means of employment, free from the clutches of stereotype jobs, raised standard of living and handful of financial empowerment. Besides all these inhibitions, they were able to witness a platform for skill set development that ignited them to enter into entrepreneurial domain. This paper epitomizes skill sets involved in trans-entrepreneurs of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State and is a groundbreaking determination to sightsee various skills incorporated and the impact on entrepreneurship.

Living in 21st century in itself reminds all of us the necessity of police and its administration. As more and more we are entering into the modern society and culture, the more we require the services of the so called ‘Khaki Worthy’ men i.e., the police personnel. Whether we talk of Indian police or the other nation’s police, they all have the same recognition as they have in India. But as already mentioned, their services and requirements are different after the like 26th November, 2008 incidents, where they without saving their own lives has sacrificed themselves without any hitch and without caring about their respective family members and wards. In other words, they are like our heroes and mentors who can guide us from the darkness of fear, militancy, corruption and other dark sides of life and so on. Now the question arises, if Gandhi would have been alive today, what would have been his reaction/opinion to the police and its functioning? Would he have some thing different in his mind now what he had been in his mind before the partition or would he be going to start some Satyagraha in the form of some improvement in the functioning of the police administration? Really these questions or rather night mares can come to any one’s mind, when there is too much confusion is prevailing in our minds, when there is too much corruption in the society and when the polices working is also in the questioning because of one or the other case throughout the India. It is matter of great concern that we have to thing over our administration and our practical approach because the police personals are also like us, they are part and parcel of our society and among one of us, so why we all are pin pointing towards them.

ATTRITION IN THE IT INDUSTRY DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC: LINKING EMOTIONAL INTE...IAEME Publication
Globally, Millions of dollars were spent by the organizations for employing skilled Information Technology (IT) professionals. It is costly to replace unskilled employees with IT professionals possessing technical skills and competencies that aid in interconnecting the business processes. The organization’s employment tactics were forced to alter by globalization along with technological innovations as they consistently diminish to remain lean, outsource to concentrate on core competencies along with restructuring/reallocate personnel to gather efficiency. As other jobs, organizations or professions have become reasonably more appropriate in a shifting employment landscape, the above alterations trigger both involuntary as well as voluntary turnover. The employee view on jobs is also afflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic along with the employee-driven labour market. So, having effective strategies is necessary to tackle the withdrawal rate of employees. By associating Emotional Intelligence (EI) along with Talent Management (TM) in the IT industry, the rise in attrition rate was analyzed in this study. Only 303 respondents were collected out of 350 participants to whom questionnaires were distributed. From the employees of IT organizations located in Bangalore (India), the data were congregated. The study's objective was to determine the impact of talent management on organizational performance among the selected IT organizations in Chennai. The study recommends that talent management limitedly affects performance. On the off chance that this talent is appropriately management and implemented properly, organizations might benefit as much as possible from their maintained assets to support development and productivity, both monetarily and non-monetarily.
A STUDY OF VARIOUS TYPES OF LOANS OF SELECTED PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR BANKS...IAEME Publication
Banking regulations act of India, 1949 defines banking as “acceptance of deposits for the purpose of lending or investment from the public, repayment on demand or otherwise and withdrawable through cheques, drafts order or otherwise”, the major participants of the Indian financial system are commercial banks, the financial institution encompassing term lending institutions. Investments institutions, specialized financial institution and the state level development banks, non banking financial companies (NBFC) and other market intermediaries such has the stock brokers and money lenders are among the oldest of the certain variants of NBFC and the oldest market participants. The asset quality of banks is one of the most important indicators of their financial health. The Indian banking sector has been facing severe problems of increasing Non- Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth directly and indirectly affects the quality of assets and profitability of banks. It also shows the efficiency of banks credit risk management and the recovery effectiveness. NPA do not generate any income, whereas, the bank is required to make provisions for such as assets that why is a double edge weapon. This paper outlines the concept of quality of bank loans of different types like Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of selected public and private sector banks. This study is highlighting problems associated with the role of commercial bank in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). The overall objective of the research was to assess the effect of the financing provisions existing for the setting up and operations of MSMEs in the country and to generate recommendations for more robust financing mechanisms for successful operation of the MSMEs, in turn understanding the impact of MSME loans on financial institutions due to NPA. There are many research conducted on the topic of Non- Performing Assets (NPA) Management, concerning particular bank, comparative study of public and private banks etc. In this paper the researcher is considering the aggregate data of selected public sector and private sector banks and attempts to compare the NPA of Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of public and private sector banks. The tools used in the study are average and Anova test and variance. The findings reveal that NPA is common problem for both public and private sector banks and is associated with all types of loans either that is housing loans, agriculture loans and loans to SMES. NPAs of both public and private sector banks show the increasing trend. In 2010-11 GNPA of public and private sector were at same level it was 2% but after 2010-11 it increased in many fold and at present there is GNPA in some more than 15%. It shows the dark area of Indian banking sector.

ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA - PROBLEMS AND ...IAEME Publication
The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.
OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

A MULTIPLE – CHANNEL QUEUING MODELS ON FUZZY ENVIRONMENTIAEME Publication
In this paper, we investigated a queuing model of fuzzy environment-based a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) and study its performance under realistic conditions. It applies a nonagonal fuzzy number to analyse the relevant performance of a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS). Based on the sub interval average ranking method for nonagonal fuzzy number, we convert fuzzy number to crisp one. Numerical results reveal that the efficiency of this method. Intuitively, the fuzzy environment adapts well to a multiple channel queuing models (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) are very well.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.
