E-cigarettes or vapes could contain illicit drugs and as
such, any e-cigarette or vape found on school property
will be considered drug paraphernalia. Students who
bring such items to school will be subject to consequences
under the school board's "Unauthorized/Illegal/Stolen
Substances/Items" policy (AP 50-12).

Ripple Connection is a non-profit drop in centre for families
and individuals living with a mental illness.
We provide caregivers and persons living with mental
illness support by promoting life-management skills,
education, and social networking.

22. Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest and most prestigious
undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
scholarships in Canada, with a value of up to $100,000 each. Fifty
students receive this celebrated award each year.
Barrhead Composite can nominate one student. Even if you are not
recipient of the scholarship, it is an honor to be nominated.
If you wish to apply for this scholarship, you must give Ms Wegner a
resume and a letter explaining why you think you are a worthy nominee
for our school.
Deadline is November 9.

There is a May 1 application deadline for Bachelor of
Nursing, Social Work Diploma, Practical Nursing Diploma,
and University Transfer Education

NEW: Agriculture Entrepreneur in Residence (AgENT) – is
extracurricular open to all students who work with industry mentors to
solve real-world challenges in the agriculture industry. Recognition of
Achievement is given upon successful completion
Scholarship application run from March 1 – July 1, one application for
all scholarships available

Besides Programs leading into Ministry work in all areas, Prairie also
offers a Certificate in Wilderness & Leadership, Diplomas in Digital
Media, Song Writing and Recording, Practical Nurse, Primary Care
Paramedic.
All programs have a faith base to them.
Academic Admission Requirements are 60% Average in five grade 12
courses and the Practical Nursing requires one of them to be Biology
30. You will also need to provide a reference and a faith statement.
