E-cigarettes or vapes could contain illicit drugs and as
such, any e-cigarette or vape found on school property
will be considered drug paraphernalia. Students who
bring such items to school will be subject to consequences
under the school board's "Unauthorized/Illegal/Stolen
Substances/Items" policy (AP 50-12).

Ripple Connection is a non-profit drop in centre for families
and individuals living with a mental illness.
We provide caregivers and persons living with mental
illness support by promoting life-management skills,
education, and social networking.

SCHOLARSHIP
Alberta Agriculture and Forestry in cooperation with Alberta Advanced Education
is pleased to announce the formation of two scholarships available for students
entering their second year of post-secondary education in either a degree or
diploma related agriculture program of study.
There will be two scholarships available in the degree program of study with a
value of $1,500.00 each in the Alberta Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship.
As well, there will be two scholarships available in the diploma program of study
with a value of $1,500.00 each in the Alberta Excellence in Agriculture
Scholarship,
Selection criteria will be based first on graduates of the Green Certificate Program
then on academic achievement during their first year.

English 30-1 required and all graduates are eligible for
University Transfer
Nursing deadline for application is February 28
This school is the only authorized training center is Canada
for Harley-Davidson® motorcycle technicians.
This is the only post-secondary institution in Canada to
offer the globally recognized Heavy Equipment Service
diploma program. They have a unique partnership with
Caterpillar and Finning.

27. ACAD has acquired university status, new name and branding
coming soon
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with
an average of at least 60% calculated on four grade 12 subjects,
including English 30-1 (60%) or English 30-2 (65%)
Portfolio + Personal Statement Guidelines:
Select 12 – 15 samples of artwork, including representational
drawing examples, observational drawings of figure, landscape or still
life. The statement of intent should be approximately 500 words. This
is where the applicant describes themselves, including background,
inspiration and goals.

28. Certificate – Artstream
This program is a collaborative program between Alberta College of
Art + Design and Blow Valley College. It is designed to provide a
bridge to an art and design education for applicants who do not
meet ACAD’s academic and/or English proficiency requirements for
First Year Undergraduate Studies, but who demonstrate satisfactory
levels of art portfolio achievement.
Application deadline for ACAD is February 1 with Portfolio +
Documents due February 15.
