Klyukovski, I pondered how my institution dealt with diversity. He proposed
examining Truman s vision statement to understand what the institution will do
when issues of diversity arise. After conducting some preliminary research on
vision statements and generic criticism, I knew this is what I wanted to study. I

together. Daphnia has two pairs of antennae which are used for swimming. Each

Hurricane Katrina was a devastating disaster that has affected many people in New
Orleans as well as the surrounding areas. It had a stunning death toll of 1300 people
and damage over $100 billion ( Davlasheridze 94 ). The communication were taken

down 3 million phone lines and 1,000 cellular towers in Louisiana, Mississippi and

only that, the people of New Orleans underestimated the power of Hurricane

could finish the exercise, FEMA s funding for the simulation was cut before it was

burgeon. Vittorio de Sica emphasized the daily struggles of ordinary people as a

Television is so popular that it is almost a vital part of life to most people. According
to the article The Real Golden Age of Television , the first successful demonstration
of electronic television was introduced on September 7, 1927. (Handy William). It
was designed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. Charles Jenkins is also an important
person to the creation of television because he created the first mechanical TV on
June 23, 1925. (D Addiro). These two men are responsible for what we have today;
good quality television. Since then television has brought tears, laughter, joy, and
many other memorable moments to the lives of people. Television came to its own
in the 1940 s and 1950 s. During this time period television began to emerge into
the households many families. This was something new to people. Never would
they have thought of being able to sit in watch entertainment out of a TV screen.
Then in the 1964 was the beginning of the old golden age of television. The reason
for this claim is for the invention of color television made it more popular (Clapp).
All television programs were in black and white before this unbelievable creation.
This gave television viewers a better experience than the past because they were able

Denmark (the play s namesake): his quest to avenge his father s murder and his

His mother in law Magdalene Thoresen, was an influence for the majority of his
work, Thoreson was a leader of the feminist movement in Norway. Lady from the Sea

There was a couple named Kiowa and Muraco. They ve been together for 8 years.
They had a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Her name was Cherokee. Kiowa and Muraco
loved Cherokee so much but they knew they couldn t keep Cherokee because they
were poor. They had no money to take care of Cherokee. Everyday they struggled to
find food and water. Days went by and Kiowa was starting to get sick. Each day it got
worse and worse. Her skin was turning red, her eyes were puffy and she constantly
coughed and sneezed. Kiowa told Muraco she didn t feel good and she felt like she
was going to die soon. On the fourth day, Kiowa died and Muraco was left to raise
