2. Main Purpose
Ensuring that all products appear in the right store, at the appropriate time and in the
correct quantities by using the appropriate category management strategy. Deliver and
communicate visual concepts and strategies to promote retail brands, products and services in-
store to increase sales & customer numbers. Implement & maintain the brands and store image
through effective resources management.
Responsibilities
Analyze store sales reports that received from data analyst for the new designs of displaying
products in order to increase sales..
Implement the new design or redesigned of Planograms to enhance the introduction of
existing and new merchandise.
Maintain communication with Store manager to ensure planograms were developed properly.
Work with Sales and purchasing teams to ensure spaces is allocated and optimized to achieve
targets as well as deciding freezing or adding products.
Insure fast moving categories are set in all proper shelving spaces to be implemented in all
stores.
Manage the category role, strategies, tactics and opportunities to optimize spaces, margin,
assortment & promotions.
Deliver and communicate visual concepts & Strategies to promote brands & products.
Implement POS/seasonal shop layouts to convey the right brand message, deliver brand
strategy and work with the merchandising team to implement the seasonal promotions and
special events
Define merchandising principles for each category in accordance with visual plan & category
management
Forecast traffic & seasoned profiles at the category and items level
Conduct regular shop visits to give feedback on visual, commercial and operational matters to
all levels of store and management and suggest an action plan accordingly
Manage the replenishment processes in 3 stores (FFM Point 90 - FFM Zayed - FFM Palm Hills).
Manage inventory level to maximize turn over and minimize out of stock.
Ensure the stores are kept in stock to support their ability to sell.
Maintain a well-balanced inventory in direct proportion to sales/potential in each assigned
classification to maximize sales while minimizing cost (transfers, discontinued inventory).
Work with Vendor to drive Shipment and Lead Time
Monitor returned and damaged goods processes to determine causes, reduce costs and
improve efficiencies.
Monitor employee performance and productivity rate based on objectives
Recommend and implement process improvements in the replenishment functional area.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly activity reporting as required by management.
Ensure efficient internal movements of items in all area stores.
Collaborate with Operation, Warehouse and vendors.
Coordinate between branches and suppliers regarding reflux products nearby validity or unfit
for display Before expiration and discount suppliers or branches according to the policy returns
Evaluate Product performance to make determination for product placement and selections
based on potential growth and revenue generation opportunities.
