2. Your companion is not
gone astray, nor is deluded.

3. And he does not speak of
his own desire.
$tΒuρß,ÏÜΖtƒÇ⎯tã#“uθoλù;$#∩⊂∪
4. It is not but a
revelation that is revealed.

5. He has been taught by one
mighty in power.

6. One endowed with wisdom.
So he stood poised in front.

7. And he was on the
uppermost horizon.

8. Then he came closer and
approached.

9. Then he was at (distance
of) two bow length or nearer.

2. 10. Then he revealed unto
His slave that which He
revealed.

11. Belied not the heart
what he saw.

12. So do you dispute with
him over what he saw.

13. And certainly he saw him
at another descent.

14. By the lote tree of the
utmost boundary.
y‰ΖÏãÍοu‘ô‰Å™4‘yγtFΖçRùQ$#∩⊇⊆∪
15. Near by which is the
Garden of Abode.

16. When there enshrouded
the lote tree that which
shrouded.
øŒÎ)©y´øótƒnοu‘ô‰Åb¡9$#$tΒ4©y´øótƒ∩⊇∉∪
17. The sight did not dazzle,
nor it exceeded the limit.

18. Certainly, he saw of the
greatest signs of his Lord.

19. Have you pondered over
Lat, and Uzza.
ãΛä⎢÷ƒu™tsùr&|M≈¯=9$#3“¨“ãèø9$#uρ∩⊇®∪
20. And Manat, the third, the
other.
nο4θuΖtΒuρsπsWÏ9$¨W9$##“t÷zW{$#∩⊄⊃∪

3. 21. Are for you the males,
and for Him the females.
ãΝä3s9r&ãx.©%!$#ã&s!uρ4©sΡW{$#∩⊄⊇∪
22. This, then would be an
unfair division.
y7ù=Ï?#]ŒÎ)×πyϑó¡Ï%#“u”ÅÊ∩⊄⊄∪
23. They are not but
(mere) names which you
have named, you and your
forefathers, Allah has not
sent down for that any
authority. They do not follow
except a guess, and that
which (they) themselves
desire. And surely there
has come to them from
their Lord the guidance.

24. Or is there for man
whatever he desires.

25. But to Allah belongs the
after (life), and the former.

26. And how many of
angels are in the heavens
whose intercession will not
avail at all except after that
Allah has permitted to whom
He wills and is pleased
with.

27. Indeed, those who do
not believe in the Hereafter,

4. they name the angels with
the names of females.
tβθ‘ϑ|¡ãŠs9sπs3Íׯ≈n=pRùQ$#sπu‹Ïϑó¡n@4©sΡW{$#

28. And they have no
knowledge of this. They do
not follow except a guess.
And indeed, a guess can not
avail against the truth at all.

29. So withdraw from
him who turns away from
Our remembrance, and does
not seek but the life of the
world.
óÚÌôãr'sù⎯tã⎯¨Β4’¯<uθs?⎯tã$tΡÌø.ÏŒ
óΟs9uρ÷ŠÌãƒωÎ)nο4θuŠysø9$#$u‹÷Ρ‘‰9$#∩⊄®∪
30. This only is their amount
of knowledge. Indeed your
Lord, He knows best of him
who has gone astray from His
way, and He knows best of
him who is on right path.

31. And to Allah belongs
whatever is in the heavens
and whatever is on the earth,
that He may recompense
those who do evil with what
they have done, and
recompense those who do
good with goodness.

5. 32. Those who avoid major
sins and indecencies except
the minor offences. Indeed,
your Lord is vast in
forgiveness. He is best aware
of you (from the time) when
He created you from the
earth, and when you were
hidden in the wombs of
your mothers. So do not
claim purity for yourselves.
He knows best of him who
fears (Him).

33. Then have you seen him
who turned away.
|M÷ƒu™tsùr&“Ï%©!$#4’¯<uθs?∩⊂⊂∪
34. And gave a little, and was
grudging.
4‘sÜôãr&uρWξ‹Î=s%#“y‰ø.r&uρ∩⊂⊆∪
35. Does he have the
knowledge of the unseen, so
he sees.
…çνy‰ΖÏãr&ÞΟù=ÏæÉ=ø‹tóø9$#uθßγsù#“ttƒ

36. Or has he not had news of
what was in the books of
Moses.
÷Πr&öΝs9ù'¬6t⊥ãƒ$yϑÎ/’ÎûÉ#ßsß¹4©y›θãΒ
∩⊂∉∪
37. And Abraham who
fulfilled (his pledge).
zΟŠÏδ≡tö/Î)uρ“Ï%©!$##’®ûuρ∩⊂∠∪
38. That no bearer of
burdens, shall bear the
burden of another.
ωr&â‘Ì“s?×οu‘Η#uρu‘ø—Íρ3“t÷zé&∩⊂∇∪

6. 39. And that there is nothing
for man except what he
strives for.
βr&uρ}§øŠ©9Ç⎯≈|¡ΣM∼Ï9ωÎ)$tΒ4©tëy™
∩⊂®∪
40. And that his striving will
soon be seen.
¨βr&uρ…çμuŠ÷èy™t∃ôθy™3“tãƒ∩⊆⊃∪
41. Then he will be
recompensed for it, the fullest
recompense.
§ΝèOçμ1t“øgä†u™!#t“yfø9$#4’nû÷ρF{$#∩⊆⊇∪
42. And that to your Lord is
the final goal.
¨βr&uρ4’n<Î)y7În/u‘4‘pκtJΨßϑø9$#∩⊆⊄∪
43. And that it is He who
makes to laugh and makes to
weep.
…çμ¯Ρr&uρuθèδy7ysôÊr&4’s5ö/r&uρ∩⊆⊂∪
44. And that it is He who
causes death and gives life.
…çμ¯Ρr&uρuθèδ|N$tΒr&$uŠômr&uρ∩⊆⊆∪
45. And that He created the
pair, the male and the female.
…çμ¯Ρr&uρt,n=y{È⎦÷⎫y_÷ρ¨“9$#tx.©%!$#

46. From a sperm drop
when it is emitted.
⎯ÏΒ>πxôÜœΡ#sŒÎ)4©o_ôϑè?∩⊆∉∪
47. And that it is upon Him
the other bringing forth.
¨βr&uρÏμø‹n=tãnοr'ô±¨Ψ9$#3“t÷zW{$#∩⊆∠∪
48. And that it is He who
makes rich and contents.
…çμ¯Ρr&uρuθèδ4©o_øîr&4©o_ø%r&uρ∩⊆∇∪
49. And that it is He who is
the Lord of Sirius.
…çμ¯Ρr&uρuθèδUu‘3“t÷èÏe±9$#∩⊆®∪

7. 50. And that He destroyed
the former Aad.
ÿ…çμ¯Ρr&uρy7n=÷δr&#·Š%tæ4’n<ρW{$#∩∈⊃∪
51. And Thamud, so He
spared (them) not.
(#yŠθßϑrOuρ!$yϑsù4’s+ö/r&∩∈⊇∪
52. And the people of Noah
before. Indeed, they were
more unjust and more
rebellious.
tΠöθs%uρ8yθçΡ⎯ÏiΒã≅ö6s%(öΝåκ¨ΞÎ)(#θçΡ%x.öΝèδ
zΝn=øßr&4©xöôÛr&uρ∩∈⊄∪
53. And the subverted
settlements, He overthrew.
sπs3Ïs?÷σßϑø9$#uρ3“uθ÷δr&∩∈⊂∪
54. Then there covered them
that which did cover.
$yγ9¤±tósù$tΒ4©¤´xî∩∈⊆∪
55. Then which of the favors
of your Lord will you doubt.
Äd“r'Î6sùÏ™Iω#u™y7În/u‘3“u‘$yϑtFs?∩∈∈∪
56. This is a warner of (the
series of) warners of old.
#x‹≈yδÖƒÉ‹tΡz⎯ÏiΒÍ‘ä‹‘Ζ9$##’n<ρW{$#∩∈∉∪
57. That which is
approaching is near.
ÏMsùΗr&èπsùΗFψ$#∩∈∠∪
58. None besides Allah is
remover of it.
}§øŠs9$yγs9⎯ÏΒÈβρߊ«!$#îπxÏ©%x.

59. Then is it at this
statement you marvel.
ô⎯Ïϑsùr&#x‹≈yδÏ]ƒÏ‰ptø:$#tβθç7yf÷ès?
∩∈®∪
60. And you laugh and do
not weep.
tβθä3ysôÒs?uρŸωuρtβθä3ö7s?∩∉⊃∪

8. 61. And you amuse
yourselves.
÷Λä⎢Ρr&uρtβρ߉Ïϑ≈y™∩∉⊇∪
62. So prostrate before
Allah and worship Him.
