All over the world, many have gone through the struggle of poverty. You don t have to be homeless to
struggle more than the next person, it could be just not having lights on in your home, past due rent, or

I put down Sachin Kundalkar s Cobalt Blue a couple of days ago and the characters continue to haunt
me. Kundalkar has so vividly painted them into my mind that they seem to have made a home for

In this paper, PVAAgNO3 films were prepared by casting method. Then irradiated with different
gamma doses (25, 50, 75, 100, 125 KGy). UV visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope,
EDX and photoluminescence spectroscope were used to characterize the prepared films. UV visible
absorption spectra showed a peak at 200 nm for PVA. And a peak at 427 nm for the surface plasmon
resonance of silver nanoparticles. This peak increases with gamma doses until 125 KGy, its decrease
for front surface. And increase continuously with gamma doses on the back surface. SEM images and
EDX spectra showed that the silver appear on the front surface as silver atoms, and with increasing the
gamma doses is disappeared and then appear at the back surface at the highest doses (125 KGy) as a
nanorods.. While PL intensity decrease for front surface and increase for back surface as the γ doses is
increased.

That was astonishing to me. I truly had no idea there were anywhere near forty different species. I
though a mosquito was a mosquito! A study that done back in 1999, revealed sixty one cases of the
severe virus in which seven deaths occurred along the cost in the New York area. This case study was
interesting to learn about. I defiantly had no idea about some of the facts of this virus and the
complications than can develop from a mosquito bite. I am going to be more careful about prevent the
spread of this virus. I have always been careful in the past to not get bit by a mosquito just because I
am sure they carried a lot of bad viruses. I also found it to be fascinating to write a case study on a

The Difference between American and German Thinking
The way Germans and Americans think is totally opposite. Germans think deductively, and take a
scientific approach. On the other hand Americans tend to think inductively, they first form a goal and
figure out the details later. These styles but head because Germans often think of the American
approach as unrealistic. The negative side to the German thinking is that while are German is planning
an American may beat him to putting an item on the market. The Americans might not be 100 percent
error free but they got the product out first. Communication styles are also very different in the two

Today the life revolves around media, it is on people s phones, media decorate their walls, and for
some media is their job. Since media is such an inescapable part of the modern landscape it is
significant that we as individuals understand how the media works and how it affects us. In this
course, the nature of the media has been unraveled to reveal the ways that it has impacted society and
how it has done this. This class has made me became more critical of the media in my life and now
even without thinking I recognize patterns, and in some cases toxic themes in the media I consume.
Looking back on this semester and what I have learned I can see that I have become more media
literate in many ways, primarily in the areas of awareness and analysis. I have become more aware of
the way media is constructed. Some things that have stood out to me since I have started this course is
for example the other day when I flew into the ST. Louis airport after Thanksgiving break one of the
monitors in baggage claim said that it was CLear Channel TV before this course I do not know what

Women at that time were supposed to take good care of their family and of their house. They had to be
good, gentle, caring and motherly. Margaret does behave in that way, she takes care of her parents
when they all come to live in Milton in the way that every daughter is supposed to. However, she does
not only look after them, but she actually takes care of almost everything regarding their lives. In a
sense, she acts like her father should, but he is somehow too weak to do so. For instance, Margaret is
the one organising the moving from Helstone to Milton in the very beginning of the novel after her
father asked her to: Do what you think best. (p. 56). This could appear as quite a burdensome
responsibility for a young woman like Margaret, and many other women of her age would not have
