Petrarch Sonnet Unrequited Love
Petrified Petrarch
Two hundred years had passed between the sonnets of Petrarch and the reign of Queen Elizabeth. As a
form and structure for poetic life, the sonnet had grown hard. Fourteen lines of rhymed iambic
pentameter remained pregnant with possibilities and vitality, but must the sense turn after the octave
and resolve in the sestet? Love remained in some ways inexpressible without this basic verse form, but
something wasn t right. Too many rose red lips and too much snow white skin belonging to
unattainable lovers did not communicate the prevailing amorous imagination. The conventions were a
little too conventional. The metaphors were gone somewhat stale.
The Reformation had intervened between the Italian Renaissance and ... Show more content on

One reads in Wyatt s sonnets about some justice in love; there is more than unrequited love and
enduring adoration and misery. His male lover expresses a desire to break out of his amorous prison.
This is an anti Petrarchan theme. This is the opposite of the hopelessly adoring pose of the enslaved
Petrarchan lover.
The opening sonnet in Astrophel and Stella begins Loving in truth, and fain in verse my love to show,/
That she, dear she, might take some pleasure of my pain (Longman 987). Sidney begins in imitation of
Petrarch in three ways. The poet s beloved is unkind; so he is plunged into despair. Sidney has also
adopted Petrarch s habit of self scrutiny. Thirdly the thought changes at the end of the eighth line. The
octave tells of the poet s futile efforts to write a poem; the sestet discloses why he had been
unsuccessful. The poet looks to the Petrarchan tradition for inspiration to cure his writer s block. Oft
turning other s leaves, to see if thence would flow/ Some fresh and fruitful showers upon my
sunburned brain (7 8). But this method is unproductive because it lacks the support of imagination.
But words came halting forth, wanting Invention s stay (9).
Sidney is employing the new English sonnet form developed by Surrey. This new structural scheme
divides the poem into three quatrains and a concluding couplet. The rhyme, abab cdcd efef gg, is
easier and more obvious to the ear. This structure is more

Compare And Contrast The Blind Side And Gattaca
Gattaca is a movie that we watched in class together. It is about a boy who has the dream of going to
outer space. He grows up in a home where he is inferior to his brother, whether it be physically or
mentally. To get into the school that he needed to get into to become an astronaut, he needed to be a
perfect human being. He had to have a perfect IQ; he needed to be a top line human being that had no
flaws. Think of it as him having to be the smartest person in his class. Eventually his dreams came
true due to the help of a couple of friends. This relates to the movie, The Blind Side, because the main
character, Michael Oher, grew up in a broken home. He felt inferior than everybody else due to the
situation that he was in. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Anton is considered to be worthy of his father s name because he does not have any genetic flaws.
Vincent dreams of a career in space but can t get into the training program due to him being invalid.
The two brothers often play chicken. Both of the brothers swim out into the ocean and the one to turn
around and swim back is the loser. One day, Vincent finally wins a game of chicken and saves Anton
when he starts to drown. After the incident, Vincent runs away from home. He then works a menial
cleaning job at the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation and makes a plan to gain employment at Gattaca by
using DNA samples from an Agent. The agent takes Vincent to Jerome Eugene Morrow, who is a
former star athlete that became paralyzed due to his suicide attempt after coming second in the
swimming world championships. The contract between them is simple: Marrow will give him his elite
genetic status in society while Vincent will maintain Marrow s luxury lifestyle. To avoid being caught,
Vincent must groom and clean himself every day to avoid leaving traces of his own genetic material
and must carry samples of Jerome s DNA to pass genetic screenings. Vincent excels in Gattaca as soon
as he has Jerome s genetics. Jerome gives Vincent a note to keep on the morning of his launch and
tells him to read it after takeoff after revealing he has created enough D.N.A samples to last Vincent
two lifetimes. But one final genetic test awaits Vincent before

David Kraemer s Reading The Rabbis
The Talmud, surely a work defined enigmatically in a categorization unique to itself, escapes
definition by traditional means. That is, as much as we may study religiously or academically we may
always fall short of a perfect description of its genre. David Kraemer chronicles this in his Reading the
Rabbis: The Talmud as Literature, asserting that, as a student, one often proceeds more on the basis of
intuition than on the foundation of a self conscious method, choosing rather to chase shadows of
potential genre classifying factors rather than search wholly for substantive definitions of literature or
literary and proceed with a certain scientific method. Thus, the challenge which he and other authors
accept is to delineate a literary genre, if one exists, for the Talmud and then proceed to analyze the text
using set literary standards. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Kraemer looks first to definitions of literature by individuals such as René Wellek and Northrop Frye.
He concludes initially that it is not difficult or unreasonable to argue that the Talmud is indeed
literature it does, after all, concord with a multiplicity of definitions and yet, the Talmud is not what
people commonly mean when they speak of literature...How can the Talmud be literature (or literary)
and not literature (not literary) at the same time? This question is essential to our understanding of the
literary Talmud. If we are to label the manuscript as literature, we also drastically redefine the popular
conception of literature as a whole for, if a multivolume work centuries old with no apparent author
and conflicting statements is of this type, what text is not? Clearly, a conundrum exists. And so, in
order to alieve the anxiety from such a claim, Kraemer proceeds to classify the Talmud into a genre.
This, too, is a behemoth of a task, as the Talmud is not a novel (though it may often be

Nursing As A Nursing Career
Nursing is a very intriguing profession with an open door to many new opportunities. While in the
field many exciting experiences may come at you. The medical field has always interested me, but I
was never quite sure on what career would suit me best and was the right one to pursue. There are
many nurses in my family: my mom, sister in law, my cousin s wife Taylor and my aunt Julene. After
hearing all of their exciting stories I decided that nursing is the perfect career. It provides a great place
to start at and expand to bigger and better things. In nursing you never know what is going to happen.
There is constant excitement and challenge in a nurse s life. As weird as it may sound, I enjoy being in
charge when there is change going ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After searching through the ASVAB Career Exploration and looking at Career Cruising, they both
pointed to a career in the medical field, specifically the direction of nursing. The opportunity to take
the ASVAB test was provided by the school and upon completing it and going onto the ASVAB
program website I took the FYI (find your interests) test. My interest code was ECS which stands for
enterprising, conventional, and social. Enterprising activities allow you to take a leadership role.
Conventional activities require attention to accuracy and detail. Social activities allow you to use your
skills and talents to help, teach, and counsel others. When searching through the careers that fit this
code, nursing was a match. (ASVAB Career Exploration Program) The education needed to become a
nurse varies. According to ASVAB, about 23% of people with this career have a bachelor s degree.
Although there are other education options, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is the most
practical and preferred choice. This degree provides a positive outlook when looking to progress
forward with other career options. Four year programs prepare RNs for nursing jobs and most require
students to get experience in clinical settings. The first two years of education often concentrate on
psychology, human growth and development, biology, and anatomy and physiology. The final two
years focus more on adult acute and chronic disease, maternal/child health,

The Mysterious Tale Of King Arthur s Myth
A story of my chivalry, love, magic, and betrayal; that is the mysterious tale of King Arthur. The myth
of King Arthur is an exciting, tale that is based in the medieval ages. There is a lot of debate on
whether Arthur was a real person, if he was based off of a person who lived during that time period, or
if he was simply just an idea; regardless he impacted that era, and continues to be a popular legend
even today. According to legend the birth of Arthur happened because of magic. King Uther was
childless and deeply infatuated with a married woman, Igraine, with the help of the wizard Merlin
Uther is disguised as Igraine s husband and they lay together. Igraine becomes pregnant with Arthur,
and when he is born the child is given to Merlin ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

was rewarded with the King s daughter, Elaine. They were married and had a son. He then went on to
tell Arthur that he had only been with Elaine because he reminded him of his one true love, Guinevere.
King Arthur couldn t bare to hear that and was devistated. He foolishly allowed Lancelot to stay in
Camelot. Before long Lancelot and Guinevere were caught in company of each other. When
Guinevere was tried and found guilty, she was sentenced to be burned at the stake. Just moments

The True Hero Of The Iliad

Hector The true hero of The Iliad
Throughout human history, mankind has venerated heroes because they possess the ideals that people
strive to achieve themselves. The appearance and importance of heroes in The Iliad form a major part
of what makes it such a celebrated tale. The concept of heroism, however, for the ancient Greeks and
modern society is quite different. The Greeks viewed heroes as humans usually descended from the
gods and in possession of superhuman strength and an aptitude for battle . Achilles clearly fits the
above definition and therefore it comes as no surprise that he has historically been viewed as the main
hero of the epic. However, the modern day definition of heroism, more than just strength and prowess
in battle, encompasses the idea of a moral responsibility: defending one s people from harm and
sacrificing one s own desires or life for the sake of others. Hector proves to be a great warrior, referred
to as man killing Hector by the Achaeans, and therefore can be seen as a hero by the Greek
perspective. However that is not the defining characteristic of the Trojan Prince. His character
revolves around a sense of moral responsibility towards his people, his culture and his family, and
using his power to defend them, sacrificing his own life in the process. The goal of this paper is to
prove that Hector, not Achilles, is the true hero of The Iliad.
Early on in the tale we

Similarities Between Han Feiizi And Confucianism
Confucius vs. Han Feizi Philosophy Paper
Confucius philosophy is a lot better than Han Feizi s. This is because it allows Chinese to live a great
life but still follow the law. Confucius was able to break down the problems that people were facing
and that helped a lot. The Chinese were ready for change after the Zhou Dynasty fell and Confucius
was able to come up with a solution that solved that major problem and it worked out perfectly.
Confucianism was not the only philosophy introduced at the time though, Han Feizi established a
philosophy too called Legalism. Confucianism is better than Legalism because it allows Chinese to
live a good life and still be happy people.
Confucianism is based off of five main concepts. The first concept is JEN: The virtue of virtues . This
concept states the goodness of the human spirit. The idea that mankind is bonded together as brother
and sister, the ideal relationship between human beings. There are people like us all around the world
that have some type of disorder and are not treated right and are made fun of. It is very wrong to judge
somebody because of their disorder and JEN states the golden rule, Do not do things to others what
you would not want others to do to you. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Confuciusm believes that education should be for everybody. Han Feizi and his followers on the other
hand, think that education should be only for a certain group of people. They believe that it is okay to
have a group of stupid people. The not educated people can work at all the so called bad jobs so that
the well educated people get the good jobs. This is wrong because having that line of smart and not
smart in a nation can cause problems. All the people should be educated so that the nation/empire is on

The King s Theory Of Moral Development
Lee Lebensbaum Psychology 05/25/2016 The King Says This: An Analysis of the Self Through
Various Psychological Theories It is not easy being born a king. From the days of my humble youth to
the present, my path to royal prestige has not been a clear path. The trials and tribulations I have
suffered were only to develop my character. So, I say this: Am I the number one contender for
valedictorian? No, I am not. Am I going off to Harvard to become a lawyer? No I am not. But the one
thing that I am is something you jabronies will never be. Regardless after every failing grade,
regardless after every tragic event, after every sickness, I still stand before you today as the People s...
King. And I think you would agree. Here is my story. My life closely mimics how Kohlberg described
in his theory of moral development. From the first stage of his theory of moral development, I recall
following orders to the letter. The punishment and threat thereof were terrifying. Detention,
suspension, expulsion were strong deterrents. Raised by very strict parents, I listened and obeyed
every command. School was the priority, and getting good grades was the most important thing to
them. Therefore, it was the most important thing to me. But as I grew, I began to see conflict in what
my parents saw was right and what the teachers said was right. This lead me to stage two of Kohlberg
s theory of moral development that different people will have different opinions on what is right. I had

The Current Hostilities Between Yemen And Saudi Arabia Today
What are the underlying factors, cultural differences, and outside intervention leading up to the current
hostilities between Yemen and Saudi Arabia today? To answer some of these fundamental questions, I
will use the relevant aspects of the five core ideas about the social conflict which are championed by
Louis Kriesberg and Bruce Dayton s book Constructive Conflicts. Kriesberg and Dayton posit that
that social conflicts are universal, and can be beneficial; social conflicts are waged with varying
destructiveness; social conflicts entail contested social constructions; social conflicts can be
transformed, and that social conflicts are dynamic and tend to move through stages.
In order for us to be able to understand the dispute, we must ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The roots of the current conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen stems from
sectarian, social political, and ideological differences which are identified as contested social
constructions in the core ideas. Moreover, these social constructions are moving in stages and are vital
to the accurate assessment as to what has led to the original cause of the conflict. Ideological
differences tainted with sectarianism seem to be one of the driving factors for conflict. The newly
unified Republic of Yemen kept its Ba athist loyalties, and it s somewhat tempered Marxist leanings in
its governance. One of the presumed crucial trigger points for the ongoing conflict between Yemen
and Saudi Arabia is the 1990 Gulf War. On August 2, 1990, the state of Iraq invaded the small state of
Kuwait and claimed it as their 19th province. This is taken, and not without unfounded rationalization,
as only a small stepping stone for Iraq to directly attack the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its
expansive oil fields to the south. Saudi Arabia claimed that Iraq s actions posed a serious threat to its
national security and sovereignty and asked the international community for assistance. The
international community quickly responded with an immediate session of the United Nations Security
Council (UNSC) and issued UNSC Resolution 660, which condemned the invasion and demanded the

Nut Island Effect Essay
#1. Do the people at Nut Island represent a cohesive team? The team from Nut Island had the potential
to accomplish great things. They were a very cohesive team. Cohesiveness relates to the degree to
which members are attracted to and motivated to remain part of that team. A cohesive group member
values his or her membership and strives to maintain a positive relationship within the group. Every
person working at Nut Island wanted to be there and would not let anything get in the way of their
team. When looking at only the cohesiveness of a team, Nut Island would be a good example. They
worked together and enjoyed what they did at the sewage plant. Employees worked overtime without

The team at Nut Island should be compared to the definition of a high performance team. Nut Island
team members had different skills. They were able to get along and work together. They really
enjoyed working there even when they were up to their necks in sludge. Members worked together to
keep equipment working. They found ways to keep the plant running after senior management stopped
paying attention. Nut Island employees formed a highly creative team also. When they ran out of
chemicals they devised a plan to get more. Instead of calling management they asked nearby residents
to complain about the odor coming from the plant. They would have a new supply of chemicals
delivered to them a few days later. With the next two high performance team components, Nut Island
begins to fall short. The team lacked a purpose and the values to make them stick to that purpose. The
purpose of the team was to clean up the harbor. They were supposed to treat the sewage to make it
safe to be dumped out in the harbor or to be turned into fertilizer. At some point the team s purpose
changed. They grew concerned with avoiding management and continuing on their own. They still
tried to do their job at the sewage plant, but their knew purpose got in the way. Because they avoided
management and management avoided them, Nut Island did not have the supplies they needed and
their equipment was failing. They continued

Right To Vote
Vote? Why would I waste my time on such a pointless task? This is often said by many young voters.
Young people are not convinced that politics affects them. Many just don t care. Good habits don t
form overnight. Young people need to wake up and realize that your vote really does matter. It is your
right to vote, many people don t have that option. When someone votes, they voice their opinion. That
single vote can make a difference, whether it is small or big, a vote is a vote. Young people are not the
only ones at blame here, politicians don t know how to attract the younger generation to appeal them.

There have been many efforts to persuade young people to vote. Some efforts include celebrity
appearances, and mock elections. Youth today is attracted to the internet, and some states have adapted
the used of E Voting. According to 2Svensson, Jörgen, and Ronald Leenes, With E Voting, it takes the
extra step and implies the electronic registration. (Jörgen, Leenes, 2008 par 5) Most politicians are just
looking at the older generation, appealing to them. Not to sound arrogant, but they aren t going to be
here forever. Young voters will not voter for people who they do not recognize into jobs they don t
understand. Majority of people in the U.S. watch T.V, and they use the media to catch up on their daily
political news. Over the past decade, the media uses its time to catch candidates off guard and
meddling into their lives. There has been little to no effort in reaching the younger generation.
Intimidation is a huge factor, politicians are seen as money hungry people who only care for
themselves. Politicians don t believe that young voters will vote, so they won t bother to reach out to
them. A survey by the Australia Institute found that 4 1.2 million young Australians felt no political
party represented their needs (Lucas, Clay, 2013, par 8). Many people believe that if there were young
politicians in office, it would have a big impact on young voters. Young people need politicians who

Romeo And Juliet Balcony Scene Analysis
The balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet is a well remembered scene in Romeo and Juliet. Although,
there are different versions of it in different movies and plays. I m comparing the balcony scene
between the original script and the 1997 movie. There are a lot of differences, with not as many
similarities. It seems as a more modern day version... There are some key details in both the movie
and the script. Some key details in the play are that Romeo hides in the darkness, and that he is
stalking Juliet in a way. It also takes place on a balcony near the streets, [Seeing Juliet enter above on
a balcony] (Act II Scene 2, Page 71) which is a lot more in older days than modern. In the movie
version, some key details are that Romeo is hidden on a vine, not so much hidden though.(You can see
in the 1997 movie, Romeo + Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann.) The setting is also on a deck and a
pool. Those are some of the key details you will need to know. Now, I will explain the differences
between the original script and the movie. One pretty noticable difference is that the setting is a lot
different. In the script, the setting is on the balcony, and is definitely a way less modern version,
almost like a cliche love scene. In the 1997 movie, the setting isn t even on a balcony, it is on a back
porch with a pool. This takes away the whole cliche love scene in the original script, and as I feel
takes away some of the meaning of the original. It also is a lot more modern, because there aren t as
many balconies in modern day houses now, which makes sense why the didn t put one, therefore it is
an older and more modern day version. Another big difference between the two is that in the script,
they don t have a pool that they jump into and kiss, but in the 1997 movie they do. Romeo and Juliet
go into the pool together and kiss, when in the script they talk from a distance and then meet at her
balcony. I think they did this also because it was made to be more modern, but they kept more of the
cliche love scene. The last difference I will talk about is in the script, romeo hides in the darkness
unseen, I have the darkness to hide me from their eyes... (Act II Scene 2, page 75) while Juliet walks
out onto her balcony and talks

The Characters Of A Samper From The Sniper And The Sniper
When i was in kid, i wanted to learn how to play soccer. All my friend played soccer but i didn t.
Instead of going to my friend for help i grabbed my soccer ball went to the field and played each and
every day. Though i was not that good that year i showed determination to keep going and get better
and by my third year i was one of the best on my team. BY not wanting anyone to help me learn to

and alex from Lockdown show determination through their action and their thoughts.
In the story The sniper by Liam O Flaherty, the sniper show determination through making hard
decisions and keep going even if he get injured. One example of how the sniper show he is determined
is that even though he got shot he was determined to kill the enemy sniper. The quote that show this is
when he say s im hit .(Liam O Flaherty p.3).This quote shows that even though the sniper is badly
injured he will still keep going and what he is determined to kill the enemy sniper. Even though his

Sweetness At The Bottom Of The Pie Tha Quotes
Two characters can possess the same personality traits even if they are the antithesis of each other. In
the fictional work, The Red Headed League by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, an intellectual grown man
detective, Sherlock Holmes is the protagonist. In the novel, Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, the
detective part is designated to Flavia de Luce, an eleven year old fictitious girl. Despite them being
opposite genders, and distant in age, they both have arrogant, yet genius mannerisms which makes
them so enticing, and uniform.
Flavia de Luce s character, in Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, although the youngest, is

Yes .
The quote above quote can support the idea Flavia is not only unaided, but genius as well. Her
intelligence outshines any and all other characters in the novel. Whether she is trying to solve the
mystery, using her street smarts, or speaking about her chemical using hobbies, Flavia has thinking
tactics of a true genius. Flavia states, Once i taught myself to make sense of the chemical equation
such as K4FeC6N6 + 2K =6KCN . Sherlock and Flavia have the commonness of being fictional
detectives, but furthermore, without question have similar attributes.
Flavia de Luce and Sherlock Holmes are almost identical in comparison, with brilliance and
intuitiveness that is immediately apparent when the characters are first introduced. They both are
single handed investigators, but Holmes has Dr. John Watson to accompany him on investigations.
Although, Sherlock still is the one who puts together clues, with his own intuitiveness, and comes to
conclusions. In The Red Headed League it discusses, ... his brilliant reasoning power would rise to the
level of intuition...

counties within the North Dakota and South Dakota border; the Sioux people are the primary tribe of
the area. According to Trymaine Lee of MSNBC, the counties are a part of the top 10 poorest counties
in the country, and that it has a history with water distresses. In the early 1960s, five dams located at
Lake Oahe in Standing Rock gave way and flooded 200,000+ acres, destroying nearly all natural
resources and wildlife at the river bottom, as well as destroying towns within the reservation and
sacred ancestral lands and sites. This was a devastating tragedy for the people of Standing Rock, and it
seems that history is repeating itself with the proposed construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
The pipeline poses many hazardous threats, and these threats outweigh any economic benefit the
proponents may promise. It threatens the environment, water supplies, historical land, and only adds

Australia the Australian Curriculum (ACARA, 2014) and EYLF (DEEWR, 2009)
In 2008, Australia saw its educational framework altered and transformed by the Melbourne
Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians (MCEETYA, 2008). With its two
underpinning goals (MCEETYA, 2008): 1) Australian schooling promotes equity and excellence and
2) All young Australians become successful learners, confident and creative individuals and active and
informed citizens the declaration s aesthetically pleasing language and presentation seemingly

This is reiterated by the fact that under 30% of Australian children participated in the preschool sector
in 2008, as well as educators low pay rates, lack of funding to the sector and the constant barrage of
academic articles consistently reaffirming early childhood education s worth (Albon, 2011; Keeley,
2007; Zajda, Davies Majhanovich 2008). In spite of consistent beliefs that the EYLF (DEEWR, 2009)
learning outcomes and Australian Curriculum general capabilities (ACARA, 2014) complement one
another, the emphasis on meeting and recognising children s individual and diverse learning needs
have become neglected in exchange for the popularity of standardised testing (NAPLAN) (ACARA,
2014; Connor, 2011; Klenowski Wyatt Smith, 2011; Reid, 2009). Consequently, the Australian
Curriculum (ACARA, 2014) has mirrored British education models by placing utmost importance on
assessing the essential twenty first century skills of literacy and numeracy, ultimately, adopting a
social efficiency approach with its focus on producing socially ideal active and informed members of
society as opposed to promoting the personal growth of individual citizens (ACARA, 2014;
Klenowski Wyatt Smith, 2011; Lingard, 2010; MCEETYA, 2008; Reid, 2009; Schiro 2013).

Country Music Research Paper
Johnny Cash said it best, Of emotions, of love, of breakup, of love and hate and death and dying,
mama, apple pie, and the whole thing. It covers a lot of territory, country music does. Country music is
everywhere, blasting from a lifted truck, a store, or a local bar, ranging from Classical country to Pop
country. Country music is not just words written down on a piece of paper, they are more than that.
The artists can write songs that most people can relate to. Alan Jackson and Luke Bryan are both very
known country singers, but are different when it comes down to managing their careers.
Jackson was born in Georgia in 1958 and had his first job at age twelve at a shoe store. He married his
high school sweetheart and has three daughters. Jackson started his career in Nashville, Tennessee, in
1979. He has sold fifteen different albums, eighty million records, and sets the record for having the
most nominations in a single year. Alan also won many awards throughout his career, like single song
of the year for CMA in 1994. As long as I m still able to have a hit on the radio and sell a few albums

Symbols In Looking For Alaska, By John Green
Looking For Alaska is a dynamic novel which was published in 2005 by Dutton Books, and is written
by world famous John Green. The story which John Green tells is about a group of intelligent but lost
teenagers, who are freshmen in Culver Creek Boarding School. The story revolves around Alaska
Young, Miles Pudge Halter and Chip Cornel Martins. These teens are contrary to shallow, more or less
opposite; and their thoughts are as deep as the Mariana Trench. Their complicated way of looking at
life, seeking simplicity and grasp in a complex world eventually hurts them.
Throughout the novel, John green discusses the word labyrinth as the simile for Suffering. Labyrinth

that she was very troubled and depressed girl like most of the teenagers these days but she was also
very unpredictable and spontaneous rightly so because she witnessed her mother s death and feeling
the guilt of not saving her, ruined her own life. Her answer to the question How will we ever get out of
this labyrinth of suffering? was straight and fast . She died because of carelessness and immaturity of

According to the percentage of outdoorman in ascending order, we separate the areas into 5 intervals.
And based on the statistics of the average income in each area, we compute the average incomes in
five intervals to see if there is a tendency related to the proportion of outdoorman. Figure1 Positive

The main reason for this distribution may be related to people s income and also balance between
work and life. The average wages, of the areas with high rate of outdoorsy people, are higher
especially within Mosman than the areas with low rate. This assumption already proofed in proposal1.
Furthermore, we can separate the map into 2 direction with 4 parts, as Figure3 shows below, to see if
there may be a potential relevance in the distribution. In the first quadrant, most of the areas are red
and orange which means over 30% of the people there prefer outdoor activities. In the second
quadrant, Fairfield becomes the center of outdoorsy people when its neighbors like Holroyd and
Penrith are also in a high rate. Move to the third quadrant, more areas are covered by green and
yellow, representing that the proportion for outdoorsy people here is about 20% in average. It is
strange that ratio of City of Sydney is at lowest level while in Waverley at highest level who are
actually neighbors. This phenomenon appeared in the proposal1 as we supposed that users in City are
busy in their career focusing on their work rather than outdoor activities. Figure3 Four quadrants

The Problem Of Drugs And Alcohol Abuse
Introduction
My chosen contemporary social problem is drugs and alcohol abuse. It goes without saying that drugs
and alcohol abuse is one of the most significant social problems not only in the United States but also
around the world. As a matter of facts, drugs and alcohol abuse is a problem with innumerable effects
both on the body and mind of a person. Many times, these adverse impacts affect the families, friends,
and acquaintances of the addict whereby, for instance, the latter may lose their jobs or cause chaos.
Consequently, I chose this topic because it is a major problem in my community. Not a single day has
ever ended without me coming across a drug addict begging for money. To my dismay, some of these
people are usually so ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are those who view addiction as a choice and firmly believe that drug addicts did this to
themselves. In one way of combating this problem, President Donald Trump declared opioid crisis a
state emergency. He claimed that the epidemic exceeded anything he had witnessed with any other
drugs in his entire life (Jacobs, 2016). By making this everyone s problem, Trump is ably working on
his major plan to combat these two problematic drugs by building a wall on the US Mexico border.
Approach
As already mentioned, most people in Boston do not give any weight to the escalating drugs and
alcohol abuse problem. In fact, some view it as a self inflicted problem, and this has made Boston a
region with the highest rate of emergency room visits as a result of illicit drugs and heroin related
cases. The suburban kids are stereotyped as the most affected and that they get hooked on heroin as a
cheaper option to other prescription medication.
I have grown up knowing that this is a problem many children all over the world have had to deal
with, such that they grow up without their parents and those who are lucky enough are taken into
foster homes. Unfortunately, the higher percentage of them ends up becoming street children. The
effects of drugs and alcohol abuse are adverse to all people irrespective of their age, race, and religion.
However, growing up in a society

decision making were mostly language and short distance. Moreover when French conquered Algeria,
Maltese saw it as an opportunity to work as interpreters, soldiers and suppliers of all types of goods.
This explains why they settled mostly in eastern Algeria. (Prochaska, 1990) As mentioned earlier

The Life And Works Of Sigmund Freud Essay
The life and works of Sigmund Freud Introduction Sigmund, an Austrian national, was born in
Moravia hamlet of Freiberg, Germany on May 06, 1856 and died in London, England on
September23, 1939. He was born in the era of logic and reason (Love and the formations of family)
when sciences was all that mattered and rational analysis was perceived as being the answer to all
mysteries (Love and the formation of family). At the age of three his family relocated to Austria where
he lived until the last year of his life (World of health, 2007). He was admitted into the medical school
at the age of 17 where he conducted a lot of research works. Even though his major interest was in
researches on physiology, he was made to conduct some clinical practice because of the difficulty of
obtaining a university appointment aggravated, in his case, by anti Semitic attitudes and policies.
(Lerner et al, 2006) Freud conducted a lot of independent research and clinical work and had his own
practice where his area of specialty was treating patients with neurological and hysterical conditions
(Lerner et al 2006). Freud s mentor and colleague, Josef Breuer, once had a cathartic treatment of
hysterical symptoms, a condition that was observed to vanish when a patient reminiscences a
traumatic incident when under hypnosis and was able to demonstrate the initial response that he had
repressed and forgotten. Freud spent several months in France experimenting on this idea by studying

Theoretical Perspectives Of Abortion
The Three Theoretical Perspectives on Abortion
Abortion has been a highly debated topic for many years. Until 1973, when abortion was legalized in
the U.S., women were obtaining very dangerous abortions that often killed them in the process.
Although abortion is legal now, members of society still do not agree on whether it is right. There are
pros and cons of abortion, which can be examined by the three theoretical perspectives; Structural
Functionalism, Conflict Theory, and Postmodern Theory. This essay explains what the three
theoretical perspectives are and how they view the social issue of abortion.
Structural Functionalism states that everything in society serves a purpose, whether it is positive or

Over the years, more people have become pro choice because of the many circumstances under which
a woman might need to have an abortion. Pro Life and Pro Choice supporters are almost 50/50 in the
U.S., now. Today, many government officials are in the process of trying to shut down Planned
Parenthood, which is where many women, and even men, go when they cannot afford to see another
physician, or just because Planned Parenthood gives exceptional health care. If this business shuts
down, many lower income individuals will have no way of seeing a doctor if they think they are
pregnant, need an STI screening, need to have an abortion, etc. While these people will have no way
of paying for a doctor, middle and upper class individuals will still be able to afford going to another
doctor for these types of issues. This means the middle/upper class would have less unwanted babies,
allowing them to push off having a child until they are financially and emotionally prepared, while the
lower class will have higher numbers of unwanted babies because they could not afford an abortion. It
is possible that some type of dialectical model could be created that would appeal to both groups, but
as the conflict theory states, there will always be some disagreement.

Manipulative Grandmother
The grandmother of the story, in A Good Man is Hard to Find, by Flannery O Connor, a stereotypical
old lady, finds herself in the middle of a life or death situation, her reason for living is because she is a
woman. Not to mention she is selfish, the Grandma is only asking for her survival when the rest of her
family is on the verge of death, including her own son. No one is perfect in this story. The father of the
children has a dry attitude, e.g., He didn t have a naturally sunny disposition. The mother shows no
emotion/ physical bond towards her children. The children show no form of manners in public
scenarios, e.g., I wouldn t live in a broken down place like this for a million bucks.
As the family voyages on a vacation, a manipulative grandmother insists on visiting an old house she

implement your preferred model? Why?
For this assignment I have decided to talk about the Bechard s Change Equationl and Kotter s 8 step
model for change.
In the Bechard s Change Equation there are three main factors that must be present to create change
within an organization (McCarthy, 2009). These factors include dissatisfaction, vision, and first steps
(McCarthy, 2009). The fourth factor in change is resistance, however, this model expresses that if the
other three factors are strong enough they will out weigh the resistance (McCarthy, 2009). Kotter s 8

Dugesia Spp Research Paper
Dugesia spp., also known as planaria is a small flat dark brown worm of varying sizes around 0.3 2
cm long and 1 2 mm wide (Palmer and Fowler, 1975 as cited by Cha, 2001). Although they are small,
they are hermaphroditic (Maule, 2006). The middle of the body is darker in color with tiny spots. The
body consists of an arrow shaped head and a long unsegmented body that narrows as it reaches the
posterior end (T. Huang, biology student, personal communications). Midway down the ventral side of
its body, the pharynx is a tube like structure that protrudes out for feeding (Cha, 2001). The body is
smooth and stretches in contracting and expanding movements as the Dugesia spp. travels around a
flat surface (T. Huang, biology student, personal communications). The two side parts of the arrow
that extends out of its head are sensory organs, the auricles (Cha, 2001). The auricles help sense water
currents so that the Dugesia spp. is aware of the direction of water flow (Kriska and Gyorgy, 2013).
Dugesia spp. has tiny eyes called eyespots located on the dorsal side of its arrow head. The eyespots

creation of artificial organs. Such a concept may seem easy to comprehend until one considers the vast
knowledge required to provide a functional substitute for one of nature s creations. One then realizes
the true immensity of this breakthrough. Since ancient times, humans have viewed the heart as more
than just a physical part of the body. It has been thought the seat of the soul, the source of emotion,
and the center of each individual s existence. For many years, doctors and researchers left the heart
untouched because they thought it was too delicate, too crucial to withstand the rigors of surgery. ...

Artificial heart devices are indeed a biotechnical wonder. Although they are not yet perfected for
permanent implantation, they are the most reliable substitutes for bad heart parts until other functional,
transplantables can be located. The Jarvik 7 was the first artificial device heart which was created by
Symbion Incorporated. This system was used to replace the heart of Dr.
Barney Clark, the first artificial heart patient. The device lasted for one hundred and twelve days
before Mr. Clark sank into an agony of complications and died. The Jarvik 7 was implanted four more
times to replace failing hearts, with similar results, before the federal authorities halted the procedure.
Other devices have made progress since the Jarvik 7. One of the more successful inventions is the left
ventricle assist device (LAVD). This device incorporates a host of hard won technological advances.
Perhaps the most important is its
quot;bio compatible quot; materials, which have allowed the LAVD to function without problems for
well over a year in a patient s body. The LAVD has been implanted in more than seven hundred people
for up to seventeen months, as they have awaited human heart transplants(Stipp 38). It is difficult to
fathom the great scientific ingenuity that was required to develop these devices. However, we must
not be blinded from seeing the whole picture. In assuming its role as a

Research Paper On Graffiti Vandals
Graffiti is not art it is vandalism, because people want to show they are bad and can do bad
things.Graffiti vandals get both public and private property. When a neighborhood has graffiti people
automatically view it as a bad neighborhood . In addition, to the cleanup costs or graffiti, graffiti
vandals shoplift their materials, so it cost the city more money to clean up and pay for the materials.
Graffiti vandals vandalize both private and public property. The text says, Graffiti vandals vandalize
both public and private property, which becomes costly for taxpayers and business and property
owners. So this means, that vandals are not only vandalizing noticeable things but the non noticeable
thing as well, that as costing the city more money with the materials and the vandalized property. ...

people in that neighborhood are automatically thought of as bad people . When vandals vandalize
something they will more than likely shoplift there materials and that is two crimes with vandalizing

materials, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. The text also says, Stealing spray paint and

What Are The Advantages Of Snorkeling
Snorkeling is the ideal way to view some of the amazing marine life that surrounds the Galapagos
Islands. It can be learned in a few hours and even children can do it. It opens up a wonderland of
lifeforms that you would completely miss if you stay on land.
Snorkeling in the Water around the Galapagos May Be the Highlight of Your Trip
In Their Natural Setting
Snorkeling is one way to see the marine life in its natural setting. Another way is scuba diving. The
main advantage of snorkeling is the freedom from complicated gear and extended lessons. Unless you
are traveling with a group that has packed for diving, snorkeling is your best option. All you need is a
mask, snorkel and fins. You may want a wetsuit if you are diving on the western islands where the
water is cooler. Otherwise, it is not essential. There is special equipment for children to help them stay
in the right position.
If you visit the Galapagos on an expedition cruise, you will be provided with the necessary snorkeling
equipment and receive lessons. Your professional naturalist guide will help you see and recognize the
varied marine life that you will encounter.

They have adapted over the millennia to feed on sea plants because the vegetation on land became
scarce. They look for algae and seaweed and are great swimmers. Their long, flat tail propels them

sneeze to expel the salt that accumulates in their nostrils. It is this puff of powdered salt that made the
first explorers think the iguanas were dragons. A good place to find marine iguanas and sea turtles

What Role Does Dolley Play In Women s Rights
Although women now have many more rights and freedoms than what they used to, it didn t simply
happen over night. Throughout the course of history men have always had a superior role to women in
our society. White Men could own land, earn a wage, get an education, and state their political ideas
much before women ever could. Women have earned their way closer to being equivalent to men by
fighting for a higher position in law, receiving education, and advancing to wage labor in the work
force. Women today can vote, run for office, and have many interactions with politics, but it took a lot
to lead up to this point. Dolley Madison, wife of James Madison, played an important role in women s
political life. Known as the Presidentress , Dolley hosted many female social political parties called
Mrs. Madison s Crush or squeeze . At Mrs. Madison s parties, information was often traded, informal
channels were established, and political access was gained. She was a main asset to her husband and
understood the function of the White House and what it took to have the power of being in presidency.

about a Political club for Women in Paris, Mary Wollstonecraft from Britain wrote A Vindication of
the Rights of Women, arguing that women also had inherent rights. She spoke of the equality of the
genders, and she suggested how women could have equal intellectuality as men with the right
education. Wollstonecraft s book created a large, immediate, sensation in

Compare And Contrast Odysseus And Beowulf
The Odyssey, by Homer, shows what Odysseus went through to get home in the 20 years he was away
from home. From the day Telemachus was born, Odysseus left to go fight in Trogan War. He fought in
Troy for 10 years and then took a worrisome route home for 10 more. He endured death and many
hardships that only he was able to survive throughout the time away from home. Meanwhile, Beowulf
protrayed good vs. evil, establishing an identity, and what it means to be heroic. Beowulf, keeper of
warriors, defeated Grendal and Grendal s mother. But that wasn t enough, he had to defeat the most
dangerous, petrifying dragon; only then would he retire. Because of his courage and bravery, his
strength wasn t enough this time; he ended up dying for the Geats when he fought the dragon.
Although in a way Odysseus and Beowulf both had support, they are both powerful heroes who
accomplished amazing things; however, Odysseus, who was known for his cunning, was flawed and
had help from the gods, while Beowulf, who was known for his bravery and strength, was portrayed
as flawless.

While Odysseus got through his hardships with his smarts and deceiving, Beowulf worked his way
towards prosperity with courage and strength. Odysseus wanted to get home to his son and wife; after
all his strenuous exertion, he achieved just that. Beowulf wanted to kill Grendel and Grendel s mother,
but that wasn t the cessation of Beowulf; 50 years later, he was confronted with a dragon. He
accomplished everything that he wanted; however, when he took down the dragon, he went died along
with it. Overall, Beowulf and Odysseus are very kindred, but they, also,

Why Do Grizzly Bears Live
The Ursus Arctos otherwise known as the grizzly bear lives in North America around Northern
Canada, Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. A grizzly bear lives in the wild and hunts for its food
such as fish, deer, elk, or any other animal. They live inside of caves for protection from the weather,
they will also live under trees or anything that will provide them shelter. I believe that grizzly s have
evolved into animals that can survive in many climates and environments.
Grizzly Bears have a hump on their shoulders and a concave face. Their claws are 2 4 inches long,
both their claws and humps are traits related to their great digging ability. (Basic Facts about Grizzly

Grizzly bears have had to adapt when the weather is off like having a warm winter it sets their internal
clock off to where when they should be hibernating they are still out or cold weather comes late they
are already awake from hibernation or cold weather comes to to early and they aren t hibernating.
They also have to deal with man made disasters like oil spills or fires, both can kill bears and kill what
they eat like fish which could then kill the bears if they can not eat enough food because their immune
system will deteriorate and kill them. Grizzly Bears are divergent because recent studies have shown
that some grizzly bear s mothers are polar bears and fathers are grizzly bears. This means that the
fathers travel long distances to mate with mother polar bears. The most recent studies have suggested
that they have been divergent from about 150,000 years ago. (Tia Ghose) Past research revealed that
brown bears on ABC Islands, off the southeastern coast of Alaska, had mitochondrial DNA that look
just like polar bear DNA.(Mitochondrial DNA comes only from the mother and is carried in the
cytoplasm in the cell s energy making structures called mitochondria.) (Tia

Dq 3 Pressure Ulcers
DQ 3 Health outcome
I have been working as an NP for two years with home bound adults and geriatric patients, and it is
very common to provide treatment for pressure ulcer/skin breakdown/ bedsore. Many of these patients
develop the skin break down after just a short hospital stay, while others develop it in the home
environment. Among the common factors that contribute to pressure ulcers are debility, immobility
and poor nutritional intake. Pressure ulcers have been a significant health problem, especially among
the geriatric population (Jaul, E. (2010).
The presence of a pressure ulcer constitutes a geriatric dilemma, the cause of which is multifactorial.

Pain and temperature change often precede skin color changes. This injury results from intense and/or
prolonged pressure and shear forces at the bone muscle interface. The wound may evolve rapidly to
reveal the actual extent of tissue injury, or may resolve without tissue loss (Wolters Kluwer Health,
2017).
Level of measurement for the result is ordinal where stage 0 1 means no skin breakdown.

  • 2. Petrarch Sonnet Unrequited Love Petrified Petrarch Two hundred years had passed between the sonnets of Petrarch and the reign of Queen Elizabeth. As a form and structure for poetic life, the sonnet had grown hard. Fourteen lines of rhymed iambic pentameter remained pregnant with possibilities and vitality, but must the sense turn after the octave and resolve in the sestet? Love remained in some ways inexpressible without this basic verse form, but something wasn t right. Too many rose red lips and too much snow white skin belonging to unattainable lovers did not communicate the prevailing amorous imagination. The conventions were a little too conventional. The metaphors were gone somewhat stale. The Reformation had intervened between the Italian Renaissance and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One reads in Wyatt s sonnets about some justice in love; there is more than unrequited love and enduring adoration and misery. His male lover expresses a desire to break out of his amorous prison. This is an anti Petrarchan theme. This is the opposite of the hopelessly adoring pose of the enslaved Petrarchan lover. The opening sonnet in Astrophel and Stella begins Loving in truth, and fain in verse my love to show,/ That she, dear she, might take some pleasure of my pain (Longman 987). Sidney begins in imitation of Petrarch in three ways. The poet s beloved is unkind; so he is plunged into despair. Sidney has also adopted Petrarch s habit of self scrutiny. Thirdly the thought changes at the end of the eighth line. The octave tells of the poet s futile efforts to write a poem; the sestet discloses why he had been unsuccessful. The poet looks to the Petrarchan tradition for inspiration to cure his writer s block. That is, as much as we may study religiously or academically we may always fall short of a perfect description of its genre. David Kraemer chronicles this in his Reading the Rabbis: The Talmud as Literature, asserting that, as a student, one often proceeds more on the basis of intuition than on the foundation of a self conscious method, choosing rather to chase shadows of potential genre classifying factors rather than search wholly for substantive definitions of literature or literary and proceed with a certain scientific method. Thus, the challenge which he and other authors accept is to delineate a literary genre, if one exists, for the Talmud and then proceed to analyze the text using set literary standards. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Kraemer looks first to definitions of literature by individuals such as René Wellek and Northrop Frye. He concludes initially that it is not difficult or unreasonable to argue that the Talmud is indeed literature it does, after all, concord with a multiplicity of definitions and yet, the Talmud is not what people commonly mean when they speak of literature...How can the Talmud be literature (or literary) and not literature (not literary) at the same time? This question is essential to our understanding of the literary Talmud. If we are to label the manuscript as literature, we also drastically redefine the popular conception of literature as a whole for, if a multivolume work centuries old with no apparent author and conflicting statements is of this type, what text is not? Clearly, a conundrum exists. And so, in order to alieve the anxiety from such a claim, Kraemer proceeds to classify the Talmud into a genre. The True Hero Of The Iliad Talha Yousaf Theodore O Neill Human Being and Citizen I 27 October 2014 Hector The true hero of The Iliad Throughout human history, mankind has venerated heroes because they possess the ideals that people strive to achieve themselves. The appearance and importance of heroes in The Iliad form a major part of what makes it such a celebrated tale. The concept of heroism, however, for the ancient Greeks and modern society is quite different. The Greeks viewed heroes as humans usually descended from the gods and in possession of superhuman strength and an aptitude for battle . Achilles clearly fits the above definition and therefore it comes as no surprise that he has historically been viewed as the main hero of the epic. However, the modern day definition of heroism, more than just strength and prowess in battle, encompasses the idea of a moral responsibility: defending one s people from harm and sacrificing one s own desires or life for the sake of others. Hector proves to be a great warrior, referred to as man killing Hector by the Achaeans, and therefore can be seen as a hero by the Greek perspective. However that is not the defining characteristic of the Trojan Prince. His character revolves around a sense of moral responsibility towards his people, his culture and his family, and using his power to defend them, sacrificing his own life in the process. The goal of this paper is to prove that Hector, not Achilles, is the true hero of The Iliad. Early on in the tale we ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This is because it allows Chinese to live a great life but still follow the law. Confucius was able to break down the problems that people were facing and that helped a lot. The Chinese were ready for change after the Zhou Dynasty fell and Confucius was able to come up with a solution that solved that major problem and it worked out perfectly. Confucianism was not the only philosophy introduced at the time though, Han Feizi established a philosophy too called Legalism. Confucianism is better than Legalism because it allows Chinese to live a good life and still be happy people. Confucianism is based off of five main concepts. The first concept is JEN: The virtue of virtues . This concept states the goodness of the human spirit. The Current Hostilities Between Yemen And Saudi Arabia Today What are the underlying factors, cultural differences, and outside intervention leading up to the current hostilities between Yemen and Saudi Arabia today? To answer some of these fundamental questions, I will use the relevant aspects of the five core ideas about the social conflict which are championed by Louis Kriesberg and Bruce Dayton s book Constructive Conflicts. Kriesberg and Dayton posit that that social conflicts are universal, and can be beneficial; social conflicts are waged with varying destructiveness; social conflicts entail contested social constructions; social conflicts can be transformed, and that social conflicts are dynamic and tend to move through stages. The roots of the current conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen stems from sectarian, social political, and ideological differences which are identified as contested social constructions in the core ideas. Moreover, these social constructions are moving in stages and are vital to the accurate assessment as to what has led to the original cause of the conflict. Ideological differences tainted with sectarianism seem to be one of the driving factors for conflict. The newly unified Republic of Yemen kept its Ba athist loyalties, and it s somewhat tempered Marxist leanings in its governance. One of the presumed crucial trigger points for the ongoing conflict between Yemen and Saudi Arabia is the 1990 Gulf War. On August 2, 1990, the state of Iraq invaded the small state of Kuwait and claimed it as their 19th province. This is taken, and not without unfounded rationalization, as only a small stepping stone for Iraq to directly attack the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its expansive oil fields to the south. Saudi Arabia claimed that Iraq s actions posed a serious threat to its national security and sovereignty and asked the international community for assistance. The international community quickly responded with an immediate session of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and issued UNSC Resolution 660, which condemned the invasion and demanded the ... They found ways to keep the plant running after senior management stopped paying attention. Nut Island employees formed a highly creative team also. • 13. Romeo And Juliet Balcony Scene Analysis The balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet is a well remembered scene in Romeo and Juliet. Although, there are different versions of it in different movies and plays. I m comparing the balcony scene between the original script and the 1997 movie. There are a lot of differences, with not as many similarities. It seems as a more modern day version... There are some key details in both the movie and the script. Some key details in the play are that Romeo hides in the darkness, and that he is stalking Juliet in a way. It also takes place on a balcony near the streets, [Seeing Juliet enter above on a balcony] (Act II Scene 2, Page 71) which is a lot more in older days than modern. In the movie version, some key details are that Romeo is hidden on a vine, not so much hidden though.(You can see in the 1997 movie, Romeo + Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann.) The setting is also on a deck and a pool. Those are some of the key details you will need to know. Now, I will explain the differences between the original script and the movie. One pretty noticable difference is that the setting is a lot different. In the script, the setting is on the balcony, and is definitely a way less modern version, almost like a cliche love scene. In the 1997 movie, the setting isn t even on a balcony, it is on a back porch with a pool. This takes away the whole cliche love scene in the original script, and as I feel takes away some of the meaning of the original. It also is a lot more modern, because there aren t as many balconies in modern day houses now, which makes sense why the didn t put one, therefore it is an older and more modern day version. Another big difference between the two is that in the script, they don t have a pool that they jump into and kiss, but in the 1997 movie they do. Romeo and Juliet go into the pool together and kiss, when in the script they talk from a distance and then meet at her balcony. I think they did this also because it was made to be more modern, but they kept more of the cliche love scene. The last difference I will talk about is in the script, romeo hides in the darkness unseen, I have the darkness to hide me from their eyes... Country music is not just words written down on a piece of paper, they are more than that. The artists can write songs that most people can relate to. Alan Jackson and Luke Bryan are both very known country singers, but are different when it comes down to managing their careers. Jackson was born in Georgia in 1958 and had his first job at age twelve at a shoe store. He married his high school sweetheart and has three daughters. Jackson started his career in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1979. He has sold fifteen different albums, eighty million records, and sets the record for having the most nominations in a single year. Her answer to the question How will we ever get out of this labyrinth of suffering? was straight and fast . She died because of carelessness and immaturity of driving when she was drunk. Furthermore, we can separate the map into 2 direction with 4 parts, as Figure3 shows below, to see if there may be a potential relevance in the distribution. In the first quadrant, most of the areas are red and orange which means over 30% of the people there prefer outdoor activities. In one way of combating this problem, President Donald Trump declared opioid crisis a state emergency. By making this everyone s problem, Trump is ably working on his major plan to combat these two problematic drugs by building a wall on the US Mexico border. This means the middle/upper class would have less unwanted babies, allowing them to push off having a child until they are financially and emotionally prepared, while the lower class will have higher numbers of unwanted babies because they could not afford an abortion. Dugesia Spp Research Paper Dugesia spp., also known as planaria is a small flat dark brown worm of varying sizes around 0.3 2 cm long and 1 2 mm wide (Palmer and Fowler, 1975 as cited by Cha, 2001). Although they are small, they are hermaphroditic (Maule, 2006). The middle of the body is darker in color with tiny spots. The body consists of an arrow shaped head and a long unsegmented body that narrows as it reaches the posterior end (T. Huang, biology student, personal communications). Midway down the ventral side of its body, the pharynx is a tube like structure that protrudes out for feeding (Cha, 2001). They also have to deal with man made disasters like oil spills or fires, both can kill bears and kill what they eat like fish which could then kill the bears if they can not eat enough food because their immune system will deteriorate and kill them. Grizzly Bears are divergent because recent studies have shown that some grizzly bear s mothers are polar bears and fathers are grizzly bears. This means that the fathers travel long distances to mate with mother polar bears. The most recent studies have suggested that they have been divergent from about 150,000 years ago. (Tia Ghose) Past research revealed that brown bears on ABC Islands, off the southeastern coast of Alaska, had mitochondrial DNA that look just like polar bear DNA.(Mitochondrial DNA comes only from the mother and is carried in the cytoplasm in the cell s energy making structures called mitochondria.)
