The ease of modern technology that lets people communicate globally, the access to extraordinary
mobility, and the well roundedness of people today has produced the biggest population in history that
prides itself in being egalitarian and fair minded. Psychologists have found evidence in recent studies
that, although people are not as outwardly racist and discriminatory as they were in the past centuries,
there is an underlying bias that can lead people to act in ways opposing their beliefs. In their book
Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good people, psychologists Mahzarin Banaji and Anthony Greenwald
explore the ideas of unconscious identity, the judgment and treatment of others based on stereotypes
and the phenomenon of association, and our inability to simply stop being biased as opposed to

characters of the movie. It is most recognized by the main character Daniel Plainview and all the
possible perspectives of interpretations (Analysis 0:20) this movie has. As I was watching this movie,

I had my moments of success and happiness when I was able to help someone along and see how
appreciative they were. There were also times that were saddening and uncomfortable. When visiting

heaviness because even though they were taken care of, there wasn t that could be done to make them

Four years ago today was his first time feeling true happiness. Now the day reminds him of how badly
he messed up one year ago. Just one wrong turn led to a life of despair.
It was his last time ever experiencing true happiness. Four years ago, Jeff was still in college when he
met the girl of his dreams, or so he thought. Her name was Jessica. Jess was a quiet girl, but one day
in the hall Jess bumped into Jeff and after that, it was love at first sight, though the both of them were

Over a year both Jess and Jeff were both going about their lives as average everyday students in

My Worst Vacation
My Worst Vacation Ever We all know what it s like to go on a vacation and have an amazing time, but

In the movie Invincible, Mark Wahlberg plays the role as Vince Papale, and his dream is to be able to
play for the Philadelphia Eagles. Vince works as a 30 year old substitute teacher who gets fired as the
movie goes on due to budget cuts. Not only has he lost his job, but he losses his wife also because she
said he would never amount to anything and asks for a divorce soon after. Vince was also a bartender
at the time. While Vince was bartending, the Philadelphia Eagles new head coach Dick Vermiel
announces open tryouts for the team and all of Vince s friends try to convince him to attend. After
Vince listens to all of his friends, who are all rabid Eagles fans, encourage him to try out, the message
his wife left him and his father saying he could not do it, he finally has enough motivation to go. Out
of everyone, Vince was the most surprised as he makes it past the first cuts at training camp. As he
passes many of the cuts in practices, it looks like he will actually make the team and becomes an icon
