Examples Of Evil In Jekyll And Hyde
Mask of Evil What is Evil? The meaning of evil is profoundly immoral and malevolent. Some
examples of evil are anonymously emailing death threats, suing someone who did nothing wrong in
order to try to collect a big payday and passing on information that you know is a lie about a political
opponent. These are not truly evil, they are mainly rude. The mask I made shows that there are 2
different faces. It represents that most evil people have 2 faces. (They wear a fake face while they also
wear another face at different times.) An evil person is a person who harms people out of hatred. They
also don t feel bad after what they did something to someone or a group of people. Some people also
argue, are they even human? because they do some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People may say, evil people, themselves can be the typical person to act evil. For example in the
paragraph before, they probably get the evil rage from books, TV, Role Models, and other things that
they can learn from. Criminal Minds is a will know show that people watch and that will form
copycats. In Jekyll and Hyde, Hyde did not get influenced into becoming evil it just happened over
time. The mask I made shows that when you wear a mask it covers what your hiding but some of what
your hiding may slip out. I also put other colors on the different sides of the mask to show that even
though a person a person is nice and friendly or they are mean and evil. Additionally, over time or at
random times they would have an opposite emotions outburst. Hyde gets mad over time. He gets
frustrated with himself, people who are evil or (irritable) usually get mad at their mistake that they

Review Of Biosemantics Millikan s Goal For ``...
Jessica Scruggs Phil 307 Response Paper #3 11/11/16 Millikan s Biosemantics Millikan s goal for
Biosementaics is to explain what connects a representation with the thing it represents. To reach this
goal, Millikan has to explain that there are special conditions that need to be met to form a connection
between a representation and its object. These content fixing conditions cannot be statistically normal
conditions, because normal is a relative term. An example Millikan gives is that of a red face. Is it a
sign of sunburn? Exertion? Overheating? Embarrassment? Or, often times in my case, alcohol flush?
There are numerous views that focus on the idea that what produces a representation is what makes it
what it is. Millikan brings up views by Fodor, Stampe, Matthen, and Dretske. Millikan dismisses
Fodor s idea that content is fixed by a causal connection, but the representation s role in a functional
system is what, in the end, determines how the content is fixed. She dismisses it because having fixed
content means to act like a representation. Stampe, Matthen, and Dretske say that the representations
have a detecting or indicating role, but Millikan also dismisses this as unenlightening, because the
terms detect and indicate basically mean to represent. Millikan refutes all of these notions so that she
can explain that the way a representation is used is what fixes the content, not how it was made. The
object of representation stands for something because there is

Analysis Of The Central Subject Of Wuthering Heights By...
Midterm Paper
The central subject of Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is the love between Heathcliff and
Catherine. The novel sets the narrative up for Edgar Linton s proposal to Catherine by having
Catharine get bit by the Linton s dog and then having her stay at Thrushcross Grange. During this
time, she is learning how to be a proper lady all while becoming closer with the Linton s. The novel
sets the narrative up for Catherine s death by showing Catherine s relationship between Edgar and
Heathcliff. Although, Catherine is married to Edgar she still has Heathcliff come around because she
can t be apart from him. This exceptionally shows during Catherine s death when Heathcliff decides to
stay with her, even though he knows Edgar is coming. The1998 film adaptation reveals the same
central subject, however, it includes slightly different information and tools to portray the subject.
In the novel WH, Catherine enters the room and appears to be disturbed and anxious. Catherine tells
Nelly how Edgar Linton asked her to marry him, but she is looking to Nelly for what the right answer
may be. She finally comes out and tells Nelly that she has accepted him. Nelly proceeds to ask
Catherine why she loves Edgar, Catherine s response is because he is handsome, pleasant to be with,
young and cheerful, and because he loves me. Catherine finally gets to the point that Edgar is rich. In
her soul and heart, she is convinced she made the wrong decision. Catherine explains how she

English Language Learning Through Immersion
As a second language learner myself, I am perhaps guilty of mispronunciation, guilty of having an
accent, and most of all guilty of making numerous grammatical errors. Learning a completely new
language is not easy. It takes time, knowledge, and a lot of effort and motivation in respect to the
learner. There is a clear distinction between structured language learning in a classroom and language
learning through immersion. Classroom learning is solely based on knowing and memorizing
vocabulary words, while immersion forces an individual to recognize grammatical and lexical
morphemes along with sentence structure in a spoken way. The clear distinction between structured
language learning in a classroom and language learning through immersion ... Show more content on

Classroom setting has a fixed structured setting that follows specific curriculums which aims more
towards accuracy, as well as passing exams in order to receive a good grade without actually having to
use the words and the grammar rules in order to converse with others. Just like Schulz (1991) says
[teachers] should not focus on teaching the subjunctive provide situations where students have to
make polite requests or conjecture about the future... (p. 23). Applying concepts into real life
situations and contexts could deepen an individual s knowledge about almost everything, including
language. Schulz (1991) directly states that Formal instruction can temporarily improve performance
on discrete point tests, but apparently has relatively little influence on spontaneous language use (p.
20) which is crucial for second language learning. For some students learning rules could be dry and
boring also which could cause apathy in the classroom. When students memorize grammar rules and
vocabulary words, it tends to be easily forgotten. Besides, taking a language class for a quarter per se,
is not sufficient as it takes time to know morphologies and different terms and expressions of another
language. Therefore, classroom setting not the best way to learn a second language. On the other hand,
language immersion enforces the

Design The requirements needed for functioning, support, and training are designed in this step.
Emphasis is given to the functioning of the system and is produced as a high level guide. All the
technical details for developing the system are created in a final system design. 4. Development and
Testing This step involves using the final system design to acquire or develop the system. Testing of
units, integration, performance, system, and acceptance are done to ensure system functionality and
the sponsor s requirements and that all segments/structures, communications, applications, procedures,
and documentation are in place, tested, and integrated. End users are implemented to verify and
thoroughly test that the system functions as required. 5. Implementation This phase involves installing
the system in its planned operating arena, training the users, converting data, turning the system over
to the sponsor, and evaluating its performance and processes. System bugs are identified and corrected
and planning for sustaining the system takes place. 6. Operations and Maintenance This step is where
the system becomes operational and that the sponsors needs are met with expected system
performance. Hardware and software is maintained and upgraded as necessary to continue expected
operation and performance. User training is maintained for users and support for reported problems is
ongoing. 7. Disposition This is the end of a systems life cycle and

Hamlet, Play and the Movie Essay examples
Hamlet is a tragic play, written by William Shakespeare between 1599 and 1602, but as years have
gone by, there have been made many movies produced in order to visually illustrate how the events of
the play occurred. This allows the film director s interpretation of Hamlet to have an effect on the
audience s understanding of the play, because they understand the play the same way as the director.
One of the most significant act and scene in the whole play is Act I Scene V. The film work of Hamlet
orchestrated by the director really focuses on being exactly as the written play by William
Shakespeare. The written work of Hamlet and the movie directed by Franco Zeffirelli have many
similar scenes. Act I Scene V is one of the most important ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In movie version of Hamlet there is a lot of emphasis put into the feelings Hamlet has towards his
mother. During the movie, there is lot of physical presence shown on screen when Hamlet and his
Gertrude begin to argue. The interpretation of Franco Zeffirelli propose that further plot development
due to the fact that Hamlet s character is being given more internal conflict to overcome, which also
connects to the hypothesis that Gibson s Hamlet is stronger, both physically and mentally, in
comparison to the original Hamlet.
Also, Gibson s Hamlet being stronger shows the impact of the setting on the story of Hamlet, because
everyone cast appears either healthier or stronger than one would imagine them from Shakespeare s
original Hamlet. Plus, in the original play there are references made about the heavy headed revel that
causes other nations to clepe us drunkards and with swinish phrase (Hamlet I.iv.21 23). Shakespeare s
Hamlet is becoming enraged thinking about his Uncle tarnishing the reputation of his nation with his
excessive drinking and partying. However, Gibson s Hamlet shows an efficiently operating town with
broken barriers between social classes and small gardens and farms. In the original Hamlet not a lot of
information is given about the general public, but what is known is that Hamlet does not mix with
paupers except for the traveling theater group. The two pictures of Hamlet s world are very different

Geography The Caribbean was a name given to this region...
Geography The Caribbean was a name given to this region after becoming popular following World
War II, being previously referred to as the Indies because Columbus thought he finally reached South
Asia and the East Indies (Caribbean). This area includes more than 7,000 islands; of those, 13 are
independent island countries and some are dependencies or overseas territories of other nations. In
addition, that large number includes islets (very small rocky islands); cay s (small, low islands
composed largely of coral or sand) and a few inhabited reefs (Caribbean). The Caribbean includes the

The Christian faith became more wide spread into the Caribbean from the slaves bringing their own
practices and beliefs after being traded into the varying Caribbean regions. The end of slavery gave
the region encouragement and help in allowing other religions and practices to be brought into the
expansion of the islands. Majority of the Spanish and French immigrants believe in Roman Catholic
and in Trinidad and Tobago about one quarter of the island is of the Hindu faith. Rastafarian is a belief
that is a form of Christianity that believes in the bible, but has distinct Caribbean attributes to the
religion and practices. The creole faith was brought to the island also by the slaves that were traded
during the slave trade. Creole has two different religions in its own being Vodou or Voodoo created by
the French speaking natives of Haiti, and Santeria created by Spanish speaking natives in Cuba.
Indegious Ingredients Historically, the number one delicacy in the Caribbean was conch which was
stewed or barbequed. People of the islands technique to cook food was often on the barbacoa which
were grills made of moist green branches (Orr, p. xiii). Catching fish was done often because of the
location of the island and the abundance of water living creatures including reef fish, tuna, swordfish,

Building Up The Fizz In Soda

Problem Statement
What is the effect of pressure on carbonation in soda?
Hypothesis
It is hypothesized that if you use big ice cubes then, more fizz will form.
Abstract
The problem was do ice cubes effect the pressure on carbonation in soda?
It was hypothesized that if you use bigger ice cubes, then more fizz will form in the soda.
The procedures followed was to rinse five ice cubes in cold water and put them all together so they are
close and touching, more so that they could freeze into a clump. I had to do the same with a group of
4, 3, and 2 ice cubes. And put aside a single ice cube on a fifth plate. Then fill the glass 3 1/4 full with
soda. Then I had to stand around and wait until the fizz die ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

cube the quicker the fizz in the

Operating System Structure Of A Single Large Executable...
OPERATING SYSTEM STRUCTURE The operating system can be defined as a collection of written
procedures, linked together into a single large executable binary program. The most useful and better
approach is divide the task into small components /modules instead of having one monolithic system
so that the operating system can function properly and can be modified easily. Input, output and
functions should be clearly defined in each of the system modules as far as we can finally come with
large and complex system. Simple structure, layered structure, microkernel, client server systems and
virtual machines are among different structures of operating system. 1.Simple Structure Well defined
structures are very important in operating systems. Scope, functionality and well designed modules are
main factor to consider to make sure the system will satisfy user needs and provides a good service to
users.MS DOS is a good example of Simple structure because of its history which starts with small,
simple and limited system that did not consider about the number of users and possibility of become
popular operating system that can be able to accommodate as many users as possible.MS DOS do not
consider the matter of separation between the interfaces and levels of functionality. As Silberschatz

The Fallacialist Lothrop Stoddard
Refutation of this stupid, lowbrow notion would be better done in an article in a publication but I am
seeing it promoted more and more and as I am very interested in combating error, particularly among
nationalists, I ll take a crack at briefly addressing it.
The nuts and bolts of this is that we have this half caste Austrian nobleman (his mother was Japanese)
who made some remarks almost a century ago about how the man of the future would be mixed race.
He is also in some sense considered the father of the EU due to his pan European political
organization. From this it is asserted that he planned the genocide of the white race and that European
elites are implementing this plan now almost a century later.
One version of the plan fingers the usual Jewish bogeyman even though Coudenhove Kalergi wasn t

following this plan . The problem is there s no evidence they are. ... Show more content on

Summary Of The Neighborhood
The book describes Bottom as a neighborhood atop the hills, overlooking the town of Medallion in
Ohio. The time is 1919, immediately after WWI. The irony in the name of the neighborhood is that
instead of being located at the bottom, it is actually above the town. The name came from a white
landowner trying to fool a freed slave into thinking that this location was more desirable than the
valley because it was the bottom of heaven best land there is. (p. 5). The trick worked at the time, but
after settling in, most residents realized the inaccuracy of the statement. Shadrack is an African

Overall feedback
MightSight was an interesting disruptive idea. The mental health market is growing and is continuing
to be a hot topic, an app that places control in the hands of the customer sounds viable. Group 37
made it clear how Millennials would feel about their data being available on mobile, but I would have
been interested to understand how Group 37 would have overcome the obstacle, via their branding,
about how people would feel about being implanted with a chip.

supported evidence was lacking and would be been helpful.

It was a shame they were presented without narration, as I felt they could have made some substantial
claims about how the App would match John and Marie s requirements. Marie s persona mentioned
that she never had the time to go see a psychiatrist, however, for the chip to be implanted in the
customer they would need to find time to see their physician. I think these challenges could have been
covered if the slide would have been narrated.
● Early adopters were depicted in the Business Model Canvas, but it would have been great to hear
why Medical Students and young music and sports stars would have taken to the App and why they
would have been advocates of the business.
● As specified in the proposal, narration wasn t recorded over every single slide.
● The brand mission and purpose were unique, but I felt it would have been interesting to understand
how MindSight would have been positioned and would appeal to the target audience, creating an
authentic experience. The slide was cut off at the end, which again was a shame as I wanted to hear
more.
How could this have been improved?
● More supporting evidence about how the App would disrupt the market would have made the
proposal more compelling.
● I liked the idea of the content marketing strategy, I could how the videos of the personas would be
engaging. It would have been great to see some more examples of the social content with an

Carbon Emissions And Its Effects On The Environment
Greenhouse gasses (GHGs) pose a serious threat to the environment through acting as a catalyst for
substantial climate change. Carbon Dioxide (CO2), a specific greenhouse gas, is the one that is the
most prominent in our atmosphere; this being the case it is also causing the most damage. Carbon
dioxide is emitted primarily through the burning of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal. These fossil fuels
are burned in power plants and create large amounts of emissions that are not ideal for the
environment. When faced with a problem similar to this one, it is only rational to think that a
particular solution should be implemented. In this case, the solution is a carbon tax . These carbon
taxes would be directed towards the sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Recently, British Columbia,
Canada enacted a carbon tax, it has some strengths and weaknesses, the due has an effect on the
economy, it also needs to be at a certain rate, it has been successful and unsuccessful, the tax is also
has aspects of being revenue neutral and revenue recycling. A carbon tax as an idea for the reduction
of hurtful greenhouse gasses is a brilliant one. Taxes like this provide a disincentive for certain
behaviors, so what better way to reduce pollution? There are other policies out there, for example cap
and trade programs and command and control regulations, but these are not as strong for reducing
greenhouse gas emission. According to David Brodwin, a writer for U.S. New, a carbon tax would be

Poverty Deviant And Poverty
When discussing deviance and what most people classify as deviant, many won t admit that they find
people who are poor, and people who are ethically different as deviant. But when observing people s
actions, it is obvious that they do. We are all guilty of purposely avoiding walking near a homeless
person, or avoiding eye contact with them at a stop light. These action and behaviors prove that we see
these people as deviant. I agree with Goode, that poverty can take individuals and make them deviant
or make them more deviant than they already were. Shame is what the poverty stricken individuals
feel, (Goode 85), which makes these individuals more likely to partake in illegal activities. They will
partake in these activities as a sort of income, for example the using and selling drugs, or they will
partake in these activities because they know they are already stigmatized, and there is no point in
trying to prove otherwise. Which further proves that being poor may be deviant on its own but it also
causes deviance. If middle and upper class Americans were more open and accepting to the poor, then
I think they would be less likely to commit deviant acts. Poverty is a self fulfilling prophecy because it
is harder for these individuals to better themselves when they are already labeled as deviant. Another
problem with American society is how hard it is for poor individuals to find success because the rich
are richer and the poor are poorer, (Goode 88). The top 1% in America hold most of the money,
leaving very little for those who are considered poor. This then becomes a never ending cycle because
middle and upper class kids attend very good schools and receive educations that will allow them to
find success in life, and those kids who are in working and lower classes, go to over crowded schools
with very little resources. This makes it very difficult for these kids to take their educations further and
go to college. I personally struggled with the transition from high school to college due to the
education I received. I went to a Denver Public School which has a reputation of being trashy or
ghetto . Luckily, as a whole Colorado has a good education system, but I know I wasn t challenged

The Modern Gro SS Es Schauspielhaus
The Modern Großes Schauspielhaus
Styles of architectural design are always changing. As time progresses, new advancements are being
made to accommodate a mass society and create a utopian design that will provide for the best
possible living standards. The main qualities expressed in modern buildings are how they strive to
replicate the goals and ambitions of their architects and patrons in a way beneficial to society as a
whole. Modernism is a term that was invented in response to the architectural movement starting
around the early 20th century to explain the dramatic changes in both technology and society. It was
mainly in response to the industrial revolution which created urban cities changing the way people
lived and worked. Modern architecture began to experiment with more modern concepts with
buildings adoption more of a machine aesthetic by adding industrially produced materials. The grand
theater Großes Schauspielhaus utilizes the style of modernism to create a building for the people
incorporating new technologies to design a space befitting the changing attitudes of early 20th century
German society.
The building Großes Schauspielhaus was designed by Hans Poelzig, who had worked as an architect,
painter and set designer, in 1919 Berlin, Germany shortly after the first World War. Poelzig s work
was categorized as embracing the expressionist style, but his work was uniquely original to anything

The Creation of Sunflowers
In a land far away lived two groups of people. One group worshipped the Sun as there god, named
Helios. While the other group worshipped Terra, the earth god. The two groups lived in the same
town, and they would constantly argue about who s right. Most of the Sun worshippers were rather
wealthy, while those who worshiped Terra were poor. In the town there lived a young girl named
Elaine Rae. She and her family all worshipped Helios. Elaine was destine to marry a young man
named Jay, he was a rich young boy that was next in line to rule the kingdom. But she liked a boy
named Kai, of the those who honored the Earth as their god. One day a riot struck in the center of
town. This was the biggest one yet. Five civilians had been killed. The cities council had to do
something to stop this. But, since he honored the Sun he didn t want to go through all the trouble of
creating another riot, so he set it off for a while. Kai was a boy who thought past many others, a truly

gods should be worshiped together, as one. He made secret gatherings to preach out his ideas, many
young men and women came and also started to believe in his ideas as well. He would tell them The

Analyse and Compare the Significance and Effectiveness of...
It is a common view that the opening and ending of a novel is considered the most memorable and
pertinent. Therefore, both authors, Ishiguro and Atwood, utilise openings and endings in their novels
significantly. The opening of a novel plays a major part in establishing the tone of what is to come,
with the ending leaving a lasting, final impression on the reader. The security of the first person
narration in Never Let Me Go encourages the reader to engage with Kathy H in order to destroy our
relationship at the end. This disillusionment serves to anger the reader and fuel our sense of
disappointment. Never Let Me Go ends in uncertainty as Kathy drives away still looking for Hailsham
yet for the reader there is no uncertainty; we know ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore the story of Offred is also questioned in the ending, the Historical Notes. In the beginning
we are immediately plunged into a rather fragmented narrative, and a seemingly nightmarish world (in
this case the dystopian setting is Gilead) where we know very little about what is going on or what is
going to happen to Offred, the main character, sleeping in a gym guarded by aunts . The state of shock
and bewilderment created leads to the rest of the opening being read in a state of suspense. The setting
of a disused university gymnasium helps to achieve a sense of tension as it subtly reminds the reader
of the ideas of nuclear fallout: Offred had slept in what had once been the gymnasium . Gymnasiums
often feature in journalism as emergency centres; this location immediately suggests to the reader that
something is wrong. The reader is confused as the narrative starts seemingly with a crisis though what
that causes is not stated. The first chapter is in past tense and is used to establish her situation and
explore how the gymnasium represents the past, with Offred wistfully longing for days of a bygone
era. This is reinforced by the narrator reminiscing about high school dances that would have been held
in the gym, girls felt skirted...later in mini skirts . It can be argued therefore, that the introduction of
the novel serves as a means to persuade the reader to read on; missing vital information and an
unfamiliar use of the setting achieve

How Did Geography Influence Greco-Roman Culture
Chapter 4
Chapter Review
Geography influenced the Greeks and Roman, as it did many other civilizations. The location of
Greece was on a peninsula. This gave it plenty access to ports which enabled Greece to trade with lots
of other peoples. Although in times of war they could be pushed further into the peninsula with
nothing but sea all around them. This forced them to create ships and other seafaring vessels. Once
again, as in India, mountains separated much of the region. This lead to the rise of City states, such as
the great Sparta or Athens. As the city states developed so did a new form of government called
democracy. A crude version of today s but nonetheless, a democracy. On the other hand, Rome was
surrounded by a volcano ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Athens all male citizens could be governments, but citizens were specially chosen and had a very
small number to them. Women had more rights than in previous civilizations but still had no place in
governments and did not normally mix with men . The upper class life of a women was spinning,
weaving and watching over the slaves. Lower class men and women were expected to work for their
living and slaves had zero rights. In Rome the patrician class ran the government affairs, the Plebeian
class was all the free lower class peoples, the Equestrians were the bankers, and the lowest of people
were the slaves. Slaves were the outright property of their owners. Patriarchal family were still a
mainstay in the mediterranean with the husband as the authority over all male and female family
members. Rome upper class women were often educated because education was seen as a desired
trait.Greece and Rome were quite different in their views of how a women should act in society but

What Makes Fake And What Types Of Products, There Are...
introduction/Background
Before proceeding to the discussion of this topic, it is necessary to determine the order, what is fake
and what types of products, there are fakes. There are four kinds of falsification of class luxury goods:
fake products replicas of the original products, produced with the aim to give them the originals,
thereby deliberately misleading consumers; pirated products demonstrative cheap copies of original
products, the production of which is not hiding the fact of forgery; products simulation the goods are
not identical to the original product, but like them its content, name, design, appearance or (consumers
tend to be aware that these products are not original); products of handicraft production design
replicas of branded products without the brand logo and made by masters who work on the brand or
produce similar quality and design of products.
If we carefully get a grasp of these definitions, it is clear that the luxury goods sector have to face all
four kinds of copy, though in varying degrees of intensity. So, the first of these types of counterfeit
products one hundred percent fake is implemented on various markets the people who present
themselves as official representatives of luxury brands. These products are sold everywhere, they offer

Illegality Of Drugs
Illegality of drugs (Legalize It All essay)
For many decades there has been a continuous debate about legalizing drugs. The ongoing debate
spotlights whether legalization would positively or negatively impact society. In the essay, Legalize It
All, Baum argues that the legalization of drugs is the best way to prevent any drug related violence
and addiction when the government regulates the drug usage and sales. I disagree with Baum s ideas
on drug legality as I believe all drugs should remain illegal. I disagree with Baum s statement drugs
should remain illegal. However, I do see strong benefits in drug regulation such as fewer children
being involved in drugs as well as reduced crime rates.
At this current time, 8:03 am, there must be at least two people doing drugs secretly out of fear of
being arrested. Others do not do drugs for fear of the exact same thing but if drugs were to be made
legal, more people would be inclined to become daily users and openly use them. Baum believes that
through legalizing drugs, a number of addictions will be limited. He explained that although about half
of all Americans older than twelve have tried an illegal drug, only 20 percent of those have used one
in the past month. (pg 25) HALF OF ALL AMERICANS have tried an illegal drug the rest are either
too scared to try an illegal drug or it goes against their ethics. If these drugs were legal, the number of
Americans to try drugs would be greater due to the decrease in price and the easy accessibility.
In Legalize It All, Baum explains that if we regulate drugs, we can prevent young children from doing
drugs and decrease the amount of addicts in the city. Through my experience, I believe that the
opposite of what Baum believes will occur. Take, for example, the regulations on cigarettes. Children
that are younger than 18 are prohibited to smoke. However, on my way to school, I see many
underaged teens smoking. This proves that regulations do not always work. Children are aware of the
negative effects of tobacco yet they continue to smoke. The same goes for drinking alcohol. If we
cannot regulate the use of cigarettes or alcohol, what is to say that the regulations on drugs will be
successful? Baum has not thought out the

Critical Analysis Of Supernatural
ANALYSIS OF SUPERNATURAL
Supernatural. Anyone s first impression upon hearing the name of this tv show would be that it is one
for teenagers, full of nonsensical, fictitious storylines. At least my parents have always thought of the
show that way, but that is because they have never taken the time to see even one episode of this
utterly creative and emotional horror tv series that brings it viewers back season after season. Now, the
series is on its 13th season and it is going strong as ever. Why? Because of its themes, because of all
the underlying messages it sends to its devoted fans amidst the entertainment of all the surprising plot
twists and the show s stance on various issues existing in today s world.
So what is Supernatural about? The plot revolves around the adventures of two brothers, Sam and
Dean Winchester as they hunt the big, bad monsters that hurt innocent humans. They travel all around
the country searching for cases out of the ordinary and take care of the demons, or ghouls, or
vampires, whatever terrorizing and rampaging small towns or big cities with their heinous activities.
Characters have come and gone but the brothers have always stayed together, except for a c few times
when they went their separate ways due to certain disagreements, huge ones, which I will get to later.
However, they always seek each other out, accept their fault and apologize. After all, family is family.
There are misunderstandings, fights and Bobby Winchester says it the best:

individuals gain access to your vital data. I say who better to safeguard this information than someone
who knows the intricacies of what a hacker looks for when trying to infiltrate a network. I think you
would be making a mistake not to at least look in to hiring a hacker to help your organization.
Fist things fist lets look at what makes a hacker a hacker. Here are some of the various types of
hackers:

Worm: Like a virus, a worm is also a self replicating program. The difference between a virus and a
worm is that a worm does not create multiple copies of itself on one system: it propagates through
computer networks. After the comparison between computer viruses and biological viruses, the
obvious comparison here is to a bacterium. Many people conflate the terms virus and worm , using
them both to describe any self propagating program. It is possible for a program to have the blunt
characteristics of both a worm and a virus. Most people when they here the term hacker automatically
think of a person of questionable morals and intentions. This is not always necessarily thecase. If you
do your homework and find a reputable white hat to add to your security team you would be moving
your company toward stability in securing your systems. Although when dealing with hackers you
always run the risk of infilitration; maybe you end up letting the individual go or they become
unhappy for whatevever reason, but I think the rewards far outweigh the risks. Get yourself a white

We know how critical it is that institutions traditionally controlled by men reshape their policies and
priorities to support gender equality and the well being of women, children, and men. And we know
that a critical part of that is to reshape the world of men and boys, the beliefs of men and boys, and the
lives of men and boys.
PART TWO: THE PLAN OF ACTION
The Evidence Base is There: New initiatives and programs to engage men and boys in gender equality
provides a growing body of evidence that confirms it is possible to change men s gender related
attitudes and practices. Effective programs and processes have led men and boys to stand up against
violence and for gender equality in both their personal lives and their communities. These initiatives
not only help deconstruct harmful masculinities, but reconstruct more gender equitable ones. Global
research makes it increasingly clear that working with men and boys can reduce violence, improve
relationships, strengthen the work of the women s movement, improve health outcomes of women and
men, girls and boys, and that it is possible to accelerate this change through deliberate interventions.
Working with the Women s Movement: The work with men and boys stems from and honors the
pioneering work and ongoing leadership of the women s movement. We stand in solidarity with the
ongoing struggles for women s empowerment and rights in our commitment to contribute to the
myriad efforts to achieve

Although women can be perpetrators, they are more often the victims of abuse than men. According to
Blair, McFarlane, Nava, Gilroy, and Maddoux (2015), 92 percent of domestic violence offenders are
male (p. 23). Domestic violence perpetrators that become involved in the criminal justice system are
overwhelmingly male offenders between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. Data from studies conducted
in the United States have revealed that a significant amount of male abusers have had some type of
previous contact with the criminal justice system. It should be noted that this contact includes positive
and negative encounters. Since abusers come from all walks of life, they can be respected law abiding
members of their communities or unpopular individuals with a criminal history. There are no set
standards or explicit personality traits that wholly identify abusers. However, researchers have
identified certain indicators and risk factors that may predispose one to become an abuser (U.S.
Department of Justice, 2009).
One dominant attribute of domestic violence is the rate of recurrence for substance use or abuse in
domestic violence incidents. Researchers have determined that there is an extremely high correlation
between the use of these substances and domestic assaults. Research endorsed by the National
Institute of Justice has established that

Essay On Proteolytic Degradation Tagss
Results and Discussion
Multiple synthetic amino acid sequence tags target fluorescent proteins for degradation by different
proteases. To study proteolytic degradation by different proteases, fluorescent proteins were
engineered with different potential degradation tags on either the N terminus or C terminus (Table S2).
Previously tested degradation tags could not be compared directly to one another because they were
characterized in different E. coli strains and under different conditions. To our knowledge, this is the
first systematic investigation of multiple degradation tags in E. coli. We tested the previously
determined degradation tags and several newly designed tags (Table 1A B). Degradation tags were
fused to multiple fluorescent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fluorescence of RepA70 YFP increased as more RepA70 CFP was produced (Fig. 3C), and this
indicated that ClpAP protease could be overloaded and a proteolytic queue forms similar to what was
observed with the LAA tagged proteins targeted to ClpXP8. We also tested two other tags, MarA and
MarAn20 (20 amino acids from the N terminal of MarA), which target proteins to be degraded by the
Lon protease. The Lon protease was weakly overloaded by MarA tagged proteins but was overloaded
more by MarAn20 tagged proteins (Fig. 3C D). This made us wonder if Lon could be overloaded
when both MarA and MarAn20 were co produced. Indeed, this was the case (Fig. 3E).
The main proteases of E. coli can exhibit different levels of crosstalk depending on the degradation
tags used. We have demonstrated that ClpXP, ClpAP, and Lon can be overloaded using two proteins
engineered with identical degradation tags targeted for a specific protease. We have hypothesized that
crosstalk between proteases may occur through shared information (Fig. 1B). To test this hypothesis in
a synthetic system, we monitored the level of a fluorescent protein (YFP) targeted to one protease
while producing another protein (CFP) targeted to a different protease. There was strong crosstalk
when proteins with the LAA degradation tag (target to ClpXP) were co produced with proteins with
all other tags (RepA70, MarA, MarAn20, and HipB; Fig.

What Does Dido Mean In The Aeneid
The lengths people will go to in order to keep the person they love can be extreme. They may poke a
hole in a condom so their partner feels obligated to stay with a baby on the way or make them feel
guilty enough to stay. Virgil explores this idea in the Aeneid using Queen Dido. When Aeneas is
preparing to leave to fulfill his legacy, the Queen tries using anger, their marriage, manipulation, and
guilt tripping as means to keep him in Tyria by her side. In Dido s first approach, she is very irrational
and angry. Her first words to him are You even hoped to keep me in the dark as to this outrage, did
you, two faced man, and slip away in silence? (Aeneid 397 399) The Queen is rash and uncaring with
her words. Her words mean to keep him there to argue and argue until the fight has left him and is

Even though a good marriage is a perfectly reasonable to stay with somebody, Aeneas does not know
their relationship as a marriage. In response to her ramblings about their marriage , he says I never

people, this is a perfectly reasonable response but not in this situation. According to Wall Street
Insanity, Queen Dido is a crazy chick because She clings tightly to truths she s decided on, even if
there s no evidence to support them (Henderson) such as the marriage between her and Aeneas. When
dealing with someone who is slightly unstable like Queen Dido, it is best to not anger them as Aeneas

The Death Of The Weimar Republic
For now, I m going to leave the Reichstag wrapped up, and move onto Libeskind s Jewish museum.
Over history it could be argued that the Jews have been the most persecuted religion. This is of course
true in Germany. In German history the Jews have being accused of poisoning wells and causing the
black death, despite the Jews suffering equally from the disease! The Jews were also accused for the
loss of the First World War, despite the Jews having the largest proportional of any religious group to
fight in the war. The German military high command even produced a censes to show how the Jews
didn t pull their weight, however the findings showed quite the opposite, so of course it was not
published. Things however started to look up for the Jews under the Weimar republic. During the
Weimar Republic, many Jews played influential roles in the government, and in stabilising Germany s
economy following the war. However, after the markets crashed, once again the German s wanted
someone to blame, and once again the Jews fell victim of persecution. With the rise of Hitler things
only got worse. Hitler s anti sematic death camps eradicated most of Europe s Jewish population.
After World War II, only 8000 Jews remained in Berlin (Gilman, L. 2007). Over the cold war period,
the Jewish community was relatively stagnant in growth.
In 1988 the Senate decided to build a new Jewish museum, exactly half a century before the Gestapo

  • 2. Examples Of Evil In Jekyll And Hyde Mask of Evil What is Evil? The meaning of evil is profoundly immoral and malevolent. Some examples of evil are anonymously emailing death threats, suing someone who did nothing wrong in order to try to collect a big payday and passing on information that you know is a lie about a political opponent. These are not truly evil, they are mainly rude. The mask I made shows that there are 2 different faces. It represents that most evil people have 2 faces. (They wear a fake face while they also wear another face at different times.) An evil person is a person who harms people out of hatred. They also don t feel bad after what they did something to someone or a group of people. Some people also argue, are they even human? because they do some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... People may say, evil people, themselves can be the typical person to act evil. For example in the paragraph before, they probably get the evil rage from books, TV, Role Models, and other things that they can learn from. Criminal Minds is a will know show that people watch and that will form copycats. In Jekyll and Hyde, Hyde did not get influenced into becoming evil it just happened over time. The mask I made shows that when you wear a mask it covers what your hiding but some of what your hiding may slip out. I also put other colors on the different sides of the mask to show that even though a person a person is nice and friendly or they are mean and evil. Additionally, over time or at random times they would have an opposite emotions outburst. Hyde gets mad over time. He gets frustrated with himself, people who are evil or (irritable) usually get mad at their mistake that they have done ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Review Of Biosemantics Millikan s Goal For ``... Jessica Scruggs Phil 307 Response Paper #3 11/11/16 Millikan s Biosemantics Millikan s goal for Biosementaics is to explain what connects a representation with the thing it represents. To reach this goal, Millikan has to explain that there are special conditions that need to be met to form a connection between a representation and its object. These content fixing conditions cannot be statistically normal conditions, because normal is a relative term. An example Millikan gives is that of a red face. Is it a sign of sunburn? Exertion? Overheating? Embarrassment? Or, often times in my case, alcohol flush? There are numerous views that focus on the idea that what produces a representation is what makes it what it is. Millikan brings up views by Fodor, Stampe, Matthen, and Dretske. Millikan dismisses Fodor s idea that content is fixed by a causal connection, but the representation s role in a functional system is what, in the end, determines how the content is fixed. She dismisses it because having fixed content means to act like a representation. Stampe, Matthen, and Dretske say that the representations have a detecting or indicating role, but Millikan also dismisses this as unenlightening, because the terms detect and indicate basically mean to represent. Millikan refutes all of these notions so that she can explain that the way a representation is used is what fixes the content, not how it was made. The object of representation stands for something because there is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

During this time, she is learning how to be a proper lady all while becoming closer with the Linton s. The novel sets the narrative up for Catherine s death by showing Catherine s relationship between Edgar and Heathcliff. Although, Catherine is married to Edgar she still has Heathcliff come around because she can t be apart from him. This exceptionally shows during Catherine s death when Heathcliff decides to stay with her, even though he knows Edgar is coming. The1998 film adaptation reveals the same central subject, however, it includes slightly different information and tools to portray the subject. In the novel WH, Catherine enters the room and appears to be disturbed and anxious. Catherine tells Nelly how Edgar Linton asked her to marry him, but she is looking to Nelly for what the right answer may be. She finally comes out and tells Nelly that she has accepted him. Nelly proceeds to ask Catherine why she loves Edgar, Catherine s response is because he is handsome, pleasant to be with, young and cheerful, and because he loves me. Catherine finally gets to the point that Edgar is rich. In her soul and heart, she is convinced she made the wrong decision. Catherine explains how she ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

English Language Learning Through Immersion As a second language learner myself, I am perhaps guilty of mispronunciation, guilty of having an accent, and most of all guilty of making numerous grammatical errors. Learning a completely new language is not easy. It takes time, knowledge, and a lot of effort and motivation in respect to the learner. There is a clear distinction between structured language learning in a classroom and language learning through immersion. Classroom learning is solely based on knowing and memorizing vocabulary words, while immersion forces an individual to recognize grammatical and lexical morphemes along with sentence structure in a spoken way. Classroom setting has a fixed structured setting that follows specific curriculums which aims more towards accuracy, as well as passing exams in order to receive a good grade without actually having to use the words and the grammar rules in order to converse with others. Just like Schulz (1991) says [teachers] should not focus on teaching the subjunctive provide situations where students have to make polite requests or conjecture about the future... (p. 23). Applying concepts into real life situations and contexts could deepen an individual s knowledge about almost everything, including language. Schulz (1991) directly states that Formal instruction can temporarily improve performance on discrete point tests, but apparently has relatively little influence on spontaneous language use (p. 20) which is crucial for second language learning. For some students learning rules could be dry and boring also which could cause apathy in the classroom. When students memorize grammar rules and vocabulary words, it tends to be easily forgotten. Besides, taking a language class for a quarter per se, is not sufficient as it takes time to know morphologies and different terms and expressions of another language. Therefore, classroom setting not the best way to learn a second language. On the other hand, language immersion enforces the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Hamlet, Play and the Movie Essay examples Hamlet is a tragic play, written by William Shakespeare between 1599 and 1602, but as years have gone by, there have been made many movies produced in order to visually illustrate how the events of the play occurred. This allows the film director s interpretation of Hamlet to have an effect on the audience s understanding of the play, because they understand the play the same way as the director. One of the most significant act and scene in the whole play is Act I Scene V. The film work of Hamlet orchestrated by the director really focuses on being exactly as the written play by William Shakespeare. Also, Gibson s Hamlet being stronger shows the impact of the setting on the story of Hamlet, because everyone cast appears either healthier or stronger than one would imagine them from Shakespeare s original Hamlet. Plus, in the original play there are references made about the heavy headed revel that causes other nations to clepe us drunkards and with swinish phrase (Hamlet I.iv.21 23). Shakespeare s Hamlet is becoming enraged thinking about his Uncle tarnishing the reputation of his nation with his excessive drinking and partying. However, Gibson s Hamlet shows an efficiently operating town with broken barriers between social classes and small gardens and farms. OPERATING SYSTEM STRUCTURE The operating system can be defined as a collection of written procedures, linked together into a single large executable binary program. The most useful and better approach is divide the task into small components /modules instead of having one monolithic system so that the operating system can function properly and can be modified easily. Input, output and functions should be clearly defined in each of the system modules as far as we can finally come with large and complex system. • 15. Carbon Emissions And Its Effects On The Environment Greenhouse gasses (GHGs) pose a serious threat to the environment through acting as a catalyst for substantial climate change. Carbon Dioxide (CO2), a specific greenhouse gas, is the one that is the most prominent in our atmosphere; this being the case it is also causing the most damage. Carbon dioxide is emitted primarily through the burning of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal. These fossil fuels are burned in power plants and create large amounts of emissions that are not ideal for the environment. When faced with a problem similar to this one, it is only rational to think that a particular solution should be implemented. In this case, the solution is a carbon tax . These carbon taxes would be directed towards the sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Recently, British Columbia, Canada enacted a carbon tax, it has some strengths and weaknesses, the due has an effect on the economy, it also needs to be at a certain rate, it has been successful and unsuccessful, the tax is also has aspects of being revenue neutral and revenue recycling. A carbon tax as an idea for the reduction of hurtful greenhouse gasses is a brilliant one. Taxes like this provide a disincentive for certain behaviors, so what better way to reduce pollution? There are other policies out there, for example cap and trade programs and command and control regulations, but these are not as strong for reducing greenhouse gas emission. • 17. Poverty Deviant And Poverty When discussing deviance and what most people classify as deviant, many won t admit that they find people who are poor, and people who are ethically different as deviant. But when observing people s actions, it is obvious that they do. We are all guilty of purposely avoiding walking near a homeless person, or avoiding eye contact with them at a stop light. These action and behaviors prove that we see these people as deviant. I agree with Goode, that poverty can take individuals and make them deviant or make them more deviant than they already were. Shame is what the poverty stricken individuals feel, (Goode 85), which makes these individuals more likely to partake in illegal activities. They will partake in these activities as a sort of income, for example the using and selling drugs, or they will partake in these activities because they know they are already stigmatized, and there is no point in trying to prove otherwise. Which further proves that being poor may be deviant on its own but it also causes deviance. If middle and upper class Americans were more open and accepting to the poor, then I think they would be less likely to commit deviant acts. Poverty is a self fulfilling prophecy because it is harder for these individuals to better themselves when they are already labeled as deviant. Another problem with American society is how hard it is for poor individuals to find success because the rich are richer and the poor are poorer, (Goode 88). The top 1% in America hold most of the money, leaving very little for those who are considered poor. This then becomes a never ending cycle because middle and upper class kids attend very good schools and receive educations that will allow them to find success in life, and those kids who are in working and lower classes, go to over crowded schools with very little resources. This makes it very difficult for these kids to take their educations further and go to college. I personally struggled with the transition from high school to college due to the education I received. As time progresses, new advancements are being made to accommodate a mass society and create a utopian design that will provide for the best possible living standards. The main qualities expressed in modern buildings are how they strive to replicate the goals and ambitions of their architects and patrons in a way beneficial to society as a whole. Modernism is a term that was invented in response to the architectural movement starting around the early 20th century to explain the dramatic changes in both technology and society. It was mainly in response to the industrial revolution which created urban cities changing the way people lived and worked. Modern architecture began to experiment with more modern concepts with buildings adoption more of a machine aesthetic by adding industrially produced materials. The grand theater Großes Schauspielhaus utilizes the style of modernism to create a building for the people incorporating new technologies to design a space befitting the changing attitudes of early 20th century German society. The state of shock and bewilderment created leads to the rest of the opening being read in a state of suspense. The ongoing debate spotlights whether legalization would positively or negatively impact society. In the essay, Legalize It All, Baum argues that the legalization of drugs is the best way to prevent any drug related violence and addiction when the government regulates the drug usage and sales. I disagree with Baum s ideas on drug legality as I believe all drugs should remain illegal. I disagree with Baum s statement drugs should remain illegal. However, I do see strong benefits in drug regulation such as fewer children being involved in drugs as well as reduced crime rates. At this current time, 8:03 am, there must be at least two people doing drugs secretly out of fear of being arrested. Others do not do drugs for fear of the exact same thing but if drugs were to be made legal, more people would be inclined to become daily users and openly use them. Baum believes that through legalizing drugs, a number of addictions will be limited. He explained that although about half of all Americans older than twelve have tried an illegal drug, only 20 percent of those have used one in the past month. (pg 25) HALF OF ALL AMERICANS have tried an illegal drug the rest are either too scared to try an illegal drug or it goes against their ethics. If these drugs were legal, the number of Americans to try drugs would be greater due to the decrease in price and the easy accessibility. In Legalize It All, Baum explains that if we regulate drugs, we can prevent young children from doing drugs and decrease the amount of addicts in the city. Through my experience, I believe that the opposite of what Baum believes will occur. Take, for example, the regulations on cigarettes. Children that are younger than 18 are prohibited to smoke. However, on my way to school, I see many underaged teens smoking. This proves that regulations do not always work. Children are aware of the negative effects of tobacco yet they continue to smoke. The same goes for drinking alcohol. If we cannot regulate the use of cigarettes or alcohol, what is to say that the regulations on drugs will be successful? Baum has not thought out the ... In undertaking the daunting task of securing your Information Technology systems, I think you have to take what ever measures necessary. You can not afford to let competitors or criminal minded individuals gain access to your vital data. I say who better to safeguard this information than someone who knows the intricacies of what a hacker looks for when trying to infiltrate a network. I think you would be making a mistake not to at least look in to hiring a hacker to help your organization. Fist things fist lets look at what makes a hacker a hacker. The difference between a virus and a worm is that a worm does not create multiple copies of itself on one system: it propagates through computer networks. After the comparison between computer viruses and biological viruses, the obvious comparison here is to a bacterium. Many people conflate the terms virus and worm , using them both to describe any self propagating program. It is possible for a program to have the blunt characteristics of both a worm and a virus. Most people when they here the term hacker automatically think of a person of questionable morals and intentions. This is not always necessarily thecase. If you do your homework and find a reputable white hat to add to your security team you would be moving your company toward stability in securing your systems. Although when dealing with hackers you always run the risk of infilitration; maybe you end up letting the individual go or they become unhappy for whatevever reason, but I think the rewards far outweigh the risks. I think that this is similar in both my culture and the culture in the book because most people want and need to help out and give back. I often hear how athletes are going to hospitals and making kids smile. I also hear how they are donating money for the community. J.J Watt, an athlete of my culture, raised thirty seven million dollars for Hurricane Harvey relief. James Harden, an athlete of the culture described in the book, donated one million dollars to helpful Hurricane Harvey Relief. The Accelerated class was working on One Step and Two Step Equations. Since the lesson ended early they were able to work in groups and start on homework. Ms. Molesky informed me that in this particular class students didn t need much help because they can do everything on their own. Their homework was a maze like worksheet where each answer led them to a certain problem. We know how critical it is that institutions traditionally controlled by men reshape their policies and priorities to support gender equality and the well being of women, children, and men. And we know that a critical part of that is to reshape the world of men and boys, the beliefs of men and boys, and the lives of men and boys. PART TWO: THE PLAN OF ACTION The Evidence Base is There: New initiatives and programs to engage men and boys in gender equality provides a growing body of evidence that confirms it is possible to change men s gender related attitudes and practices. Effective programs and processes have led men and boys to stand up against violence and for gender equality in both their personal lives and their communities. These initiatives not only help deconstruct harmful masculinities, but reconstruct more gender equitable ones. Global research makes it increasingly clear that working with men and boys can reduce violence, improve relationships, strengthen the work of the women s movement, improve health outcomes of women and men, girls and boys, and that it is possible to accelerate this change through deliberate interventions. This type of violence is considered to be one of the most widespread public health crises in the United States (Black et al., 2011). The purpose of this essay is to create a plan for a program that addresses domestic violence related crime in West Virginia. To begin, significant information in relation to domestic violence will be provided. This will be followed by the program plan, which will include seven steps: an analysis of the problem, identification of goals and objectives, development of a program design, development of an action plan, development of a plan to monitor program effectiveness, ... According to Blair, McFarlane, Nava, Gilroy, and Maddoux (2015), 92 percent of domestic violence offenders are male (p. 23). Domestic violence perpetrators that become involved in the criminal justice system are overwhelmingly male offenders between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. Data from studies conducted in the United States have revealed that a significant amount of male abusers have had some type of previous contact with the criminal justice system. It should be noted that this contact includes positive and negative encounters. Since abusers come from all walks of life, they can be respected law abiding members of their communities or unpopular individuals with a criminal history. There are no set standards or explicit personality traits that wholly identify abusers. However, researchers have identified certain indicators and risk factors that may predispose one to become an abuser (U.S. Department of Justice, 2009). One dominant attribute of domestic violence is the rate of recurrence for substance use or abuse in domestic violence incidents. Researchers have determined that there is an extremely high correlation between the use of these substances and domestic assaults. Research endorsed by the National Institute of Justice has established that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 36. Essay On Proteolytic Degradation Tagss Results and Discussion Multiple synthetic amino acid sequence tags target fluorescent proteins for degradation by different proteases. To study proteolytic degradation by different proteases, fluorescent proteins were engineered with different potential degradation tags on either the N terminus or C terminus (Table S2). Previously tested degradation tags could not be compared directly to one another because they were characterized in different E. coli strains and under different conditions. To our knowledge, this is the first systematic investigation of multiple degradation tags in E. coli. We tested the previously determined degradation tags and several newly designed tags (Table 1A B). Degradation tags were fused to multiple fluorescent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The fluorescence of RepA70 YFP increased as more RepA70 CFP was produced (Fig. 3C), and this indicated that ClpAP protease could be overloaded and a proteolytic queue forms similar to what was observed with the LAA tagged proteins targeted to ClpXP8. We also tested two other tags, MarA and MarAn20 (20 amino acids from the N terminal of MarA), which target proteins to be degraded by the Lon protease. The Lon protease was weakly overloaded by MarA tagged proteins but was overloaded more by MarAn20 tagged proteins (Fig. 3C D). This made us wonder if Lon could be overloaded when both MarA and MarAn20 were co produced. Indeed, this was the case (Fig. 3E). The main proteases of E. coli can exhibit different levels of crosstalk depending on the degradation tags used. We have demonstrated that ClpXP, ClpAP, and Lon can be overloaded using two proteins engineered with identical degradation tags targeted for a specific protease. We have hypothesized that crosstalk between proteases may occur through shared information (Fig. 1B). To test this hypothesis in a synthetic system, we monitored the level of a fluorescent protein (YFP) targeted to one protease while producing another protein (CFP) targeted to a different protease. There was strong crosstalk when proteins with the LAA degradation tag (target to ClpXP) were co produced with proteins with all other tags (RepA70, MarA, MarAn20, and HipB; Fig. ... They may poke a hole in a condom so their partner feels obligated to stay with a baby on the way or make them feel guilty enough to stay. Virgil explores this idea in the Aeneid using Queen Dido. When Aeneas is preparing to leave to fulfill his legacy, the Queen tries using anger, their marriage, manipulation, and guilt tripping as means to keep him in Tyria by her side. In Dido s first approach, she is very irrational and angry. Her first words to him are You even hoped to keep me in the dark as to this outrage, did you, two faced man, and slip away in silence? Over history it could be argued that the Jews have been the most persecuted religion. This is of course true in Germany. In German history the Jews have being accused of poisoning wells and causing the black death, despite the Jews suffering equally from the disease! The Jews were also accused for the loss of the First World War, despite the Jews having the largest proportional of any religious group to fight in the war. The German military high command even produced a censes to show how the Jews didn t pull their weight, however the findings showed quite the opposite, so of course it was not published. Things however started to look up for the Jews under the Weimar republic. During the Weimar Republic, many Jews played influential roles in the government, and in stabilising Germany s economy following the war. However, after the markets crashed, once again the German s wanted someone to blame, and once again the Jews fell victim of persecution. With the rise of Hitler things only got worse. Hitler s anti sematic death camps eradicated most of Europe s Jewish population. After World War II, only 8000 Jews remained in Berlin (Gilman, L. 2007). Over the cold war period, the Jewish community was relatively stagnant in growth. In 1988 the Senate decided to build a new Jewish museum, exactly half a century before the Gestapo closed the original museum. 165 architects entered the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
