undoubtedly a reason for planning right. Society created a "norm" when dealing with adult life. It is

religious. They are the principal structures in all societies and relate to general factors of social life

These mantras were ingrained in me since I can remember and I will pass them down to my
children. These mantras also show how different society has changed from older generations. As a
black female, some of the mantras my grandmothers were taught were to remain respectful at all
times, find a good husband to support you, and it's okay not to finish college (let alone go to college

acknowledged that if the expecting costs of committing crimes go up without the increase of
expected benefit, potential criminals will not commit as many crimes (Lyman & Potter, 2007).

those ways have been implemented into our criminal justice system in many ways to deter and

Charles Dickens' Bleak House presents a damning portrait of England's social institutions and
political infrastructure. The novel allows Dickens to express condemnation for the English court and
judicial system; as the author purportedly stated prior to writing Bleak House, "The one great
principle of the English law is to make business for itself," (cited by Perdue). In addition to exposing
the corruption of English common law, Dickens also draws attention to fractures in the very fabric

In his poems, "The Bishop Orders His Tomb", "Soliloquy of the Spanish Cloister", and "My Last
Duchess", Browning explores a few sins that link to Victorian ideas yet continue to be compelling
commentary on some of the modernity's biggest contradictions. These characters process the world
according to their own selfish ideologies, filtering into dramatic monologues that challenge and
comment on the time's social norms and growing institutions. The narrator of "Soliloquy of the
Spanish Cloister" is resentful and irrationally petty contrary to the monolithic idea of a monk. In

In my job description there are norms and sanctions that I need to follow, breathe, and live by them.
I'm responsible for following the Company's safety and environmental laws, regulations, and
procedures at work. For instance, always come in on time (unless you call in), follow the safety
policies for ourselves and customers such as prevention of accidents removing things that can cause
a fall or slip such as a 3 or 8 step ladder's or carts (children might mistake it as a toy), making sure
boxes on top of the rack shelves are less than 8 inches high (not in the way for sprinkles or falling
over), making sure each aisle is clean (nobody's going to come into a dirty store), putting shoes in
their right particular areas and sizes from kids on the left hand side, women's in the middle, and the
men's on the right hand side and straight across the back of the store. In addition, to safety reasons in
work wear we can wear almost about anything but must be comfortable like business wear or casual
(no jeans, open back sandals/heels, and must be knee length) and have a Payless store tag always,
also when it comes to lifting boxes we must always wear a black back support belt while lifting.
