1. Emotions
The discovery of emotions is people noticing what how the emotions that they
feel can change and react with their facial expressions. Some example of
emotions that could be used in expressing emotions are:
●. Sadness
● Happiness
● Depressed
● Angry
● Joy
●The best way to get this discovery in picture format I believe is taking simple
head shots and have the models show the emotions through their facial
expressions. To make this photographs to fit into the experimental photography
criteria I would instead of taking the images with a camera I could take them
using scanography which would be able to get the images from a different
aspect.
Light
The discovery of light is when lights can fulfil different meanings in a persons life
and how the light can be interpreted in many ways. Examples of lights are :
●Sunlight
●Northern lights
●Candle light
●Torch light
An example of Light photography could be a dark room and a peep of light
reflecting onto a certain object in the room or over someone as if it were to be a
halo. Another way I would be able to show light in photography is using light
writing and creating objects that could create a significant detail in the image
such as a little girl with angel wings created behind her using multi coloured
lighting.
Life & Death
The discovery of life is when people can discover the meaning of life
through a birth and death of people in there lives and how they can
interpertate this through photography. An example of this kind photography
is picking one of the topics such as if I were to pick death I could take an
image of a model with their eyes closed and add filters to the image on
Photoshop Another example of discovery of life and death photography is
combining a really dark image with a multi colours which would fit into the
multi media criteria for experimental photography.

Discovering of the world is learning about things that you didn’t know
that existed in the world and being able to learn about it from one
image. The images that would be able to express this discovery could
be images of:
-Cultures
-Countries
-Nature
-Iconic land marks
An example of how I would be able to capture discovery of the world in
a image would be going to a event like Holi in India and capturing the
moment which is able to show the features of the country, culture and
iconic lad mark. To make this image fit into the experimental
photography criteria I could use the joiner technique which would mean
that I have to take multiple images some similar and once I join the
images it would create the impact of the colour and add some texture to
my product.
Talent
Discovery of a talent that you didn’t know you were capable to do. This
could be stuff like :
-Acting
-Sports
-Painting
-Singing
-Dancing
An example of how I would capture this image could be an image of a
ballerina doing privet and showing the stages from her being on the
floor to slowly getting into position ready for a privet as if she were a
flower ready to blossom. To make this image of talent discovery fit into
the experimental photography criteria I would get a ballerina and set my
camera to a high shutter speed and then allow the ballerina to start to
move around, if I have problems getting the results that I want with this
camera setting the other way I would do this process is take individual
photos of each of the ballerinas movements and layer them on
Photoshop.
