1. COPY DEVELOPMENT- SLOGAN
*DRINK FOR JOY
I liked this slogan as I think that this would be suitable for a poster
as a shot catch phrase but as it doesn't have the name of the
product on it I don't think it will hep with publicity.
*THINGS GO BETTER WITH A BRU
I am not sure about this slogan as it doesn't seem persuasive or attention
grabbing so I realised that I need to improve on wordings.
*STAY TRUE HAVE A BRU
I think that this slogan is similar to the first idea but I tried to include the name
of the product to make it obvious of which product the slogan is representing
*KEEPING IT TRUE WITH A BRU
This slogan I liked as it is short and snappy and quite motivational for the
audience to by the product.
*WHO NEEDS A MAN WHEN YOU CAN HAVE A BRU
This slogan I was unsure about as it seems like the product is being targeted at the female
audience which may interfere with the sales.
*KEEP CALM AND HAVE A BRU
This is my most favourite slogan out of them all as it is short and catchy and very
british which is ironic how the product is actually scottish.
2. FONT EXPERIMENTS- DIFFERENT FONTS
This was my first experiment with with trying out
fonts, this font was expectable but seemed very
simple and not very attention catching.
This is the second font that I tried out, this font had
some detail to it but I don't think that was a
appropriate font for advertisement as some of the
audience may struggle reading the font.
This is the last font that I experimented with, this font
seemed very appropriate for the advertisement as its
bold and attention grabbing and would be able to make
a statement on the advertisements.

These are the 3 themes that I will be trying to feature in my products; I choose these
colours as the main colours as I want to keep the products that I am going to design as
I want them to remain in the same house styling to be able to get more professional
end results. I tried to layout the colours out so that is I am using a light colour to have a
dark font colour to go over it and if its a dark background colour I tried to match a bright
font colour to go over it.
4. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
IRN BRU

This is the first development that I
experimented with, I started off with
a brief idea of what colours that I
was wanting to use and then had to
decide how would I lay them colours
out with the detailing of the product.
In the mock up product the banner
looks very structured due to lack of
techniques but I learned from this
that whilst designing a can it is
acceptable to be free and that you
doest have no frame. Another detail
that I tried out is trying to separate
the text “32” from the rest of the text
and make it stand out individually.
One of the things that I would
improve in this the way the quality of
the product and how unprofessional
it looks, I will be able to do this by
learning and improving techniques
on photoshop and applying these
techniques to my products.
