3. Mind Map
Murder
mystery movie
Movie poster
Font made out of different
styled and sized letters to look
like a ransom note.
Silhouettes used to give an air of
mystery.
The title of the film will be
“Perils of a Party”
Do not show the face of the
killer, keeping anonymity.
Trailer
The theme will be a
masquerade ball, so it will
have people in formal clothing
dancing while wearing masks
to hide their identities.
The victim will be the main
focus of the trailer, and it will
show her beginning to dance
while the camera moves
around faster and faster, thus
confusing the audience.
I won’t show any gore, but
you will hear a scream and
see the victim fall to the
ground.
Invitations
It will be an invitation to the masquerade ball.
I will make 2 separate invitations, but I want them to be
viewed as one.
The concept is that the invitation will look different when
put under a UV light which will reveal something sinister.
5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The colours contrast between dark (for the murder mystery
parts) And bright (For the masquerade and fancy parts)
• Anonymity is an important part in mysteries. Keeping faces
hidden or just using silhouettes.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I’ll be using silhouettes and masks to hide identities
• I’ll use a similar colour scheme.
6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The invitation is the same, and it shows it being shown normally and under UV
lighting.
The trailer shows a murder without showing who did it, in order to draw people in.
A professional looking poster to impress viewers.

Science
