This is our Health and Safety Reece for Scene 1 of our opening sequence.

1. Health and Safety Recce: Sophie's House
Locations and planned day of shoot Sophie's house. We plan to locate the shots in
her bedroom and bathroom, and a use a shot of
the character coming down her stairs. We plan
to do this on a Saturday.
What equipment will be taken? Who will be
present? What props are required?
We will be using a camera during this scene.
The character staring in this scene will be
present, so will Sophie and Lauren Mo, as they
will be filming/directing. Casual day to day
props in a teenage life will be used and things in
Sophie's bedroom.
What are the potential hazards associated
with the location?
The character could fall down the stairs, or
when filming if we decide to use a tracking shot
or hand held camera shot the equipment could
drop down the stairs.
Is there water at the location (pond, swimming
pool, waterfall)? How will this be planned for?
There will be water when the character is in the
bathroom. We will make sure the camera is
away from the sink, and not damaged at all.
What are the risks associated with the general
public? How will these be dealt with?
There will not be any risks associated with the
general public, as it is in Sophie's house.
How will the equipment be stored during the
shoot?
We will make sure the equipment is seen at all
times by the person shooting. We will make
sure that if its put it down it is in the same place
all the time so we don’t use it, which will be
located on Sophie’s dressing table. This will
enable us to make sure we don’t ever lose it or
misplace the equipment.
How will the equipment be stored after the
shoot/overnight?
From this first scene we will store the
equipment in Sophie's bedroom overnight, so
its ready for filming.
