There are 01 (One) Patron Counter Device
located at the 1st Floor which are used for
quantitative analysis of the users.
Each user must Sign in their ID at the entrance in
the library. It is mandatory.

The DIU Library is going to start “Best Library User Award”
competition from the Spring 2019 Semester among the DIU
students to use the library effectively and efficiently.
The top three students will be awarded with gifts and certificates.
Selection Criteria:
1. use library regularly ( through patron counter device)
2. borrow reading materials regularly ( through KOHA software)
3. follow the library code in the library (behave politely with
fellow readers and library officials) improve the academic
result

Ways to Prevent/Avoid Plagiarism:
➢ Paraphrasing: Reading original and putting it into your
own words
➢ Citing: Citing is one of the effective ways to avoid
plagiarism. Follow the document formatting guidelines
(i.e. APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) used by your educational
institution
➢ Quoting: When quoting a source, use the quote exactly
the way it appears. No one wants to be misquoted.
➢ Referencing: Including a reference page or page of works
cited at the end of your research paper.
