Our target audience for the media product is males and females aged 15 to 34. This age range was chosen based on primary research through questionnaires showing most respondents were 16 to 34, and secondary research finding cinema attendance was equal between males and females. To attract this audience, the plot of the opening sequence includes suspense, action and intensity, such as a car crash scene, to hold the interest of the 16 to 34 year olds.
