The original super Mario game is very similar to the style of my game
in the side scrolling aspect and the enemies that attack, the
background and characters wont be the same but it will have the same
concept as Mario
The platforms and the
ground are very blocky,
I want to make my
platforms a lot thinner
and my ground like dirt
instead of bricks

Scott pilgrim vs the world: the game has a similar style and set up to the game I want to make.
the combat used and the over all style used is very similar to the style I want to use for my game,
however Scott pilgrim has a multiplayer feature that I don’t want to include in my game. The
game uses a colour scheme uses black for the bad guy (black is associated with death) and the
main protagonist(Scott pilgrim) in green (which relates to youth, growth and energy )

Streets of rage is much like Scott pilgrim in the way it plays being a side scrolling fighting game.
The combat is similar to the combat I want to use, the art style and the way things look is too
retro for my game, the colour scheme has the protagonist in blue and white(representing
composure and purity) this is juxtaposed with the antagonists in red and yellow(representing
danger and cowerdice)
