2. Process
My first attempt at the song turned
out not as expected, I was still getting
used to the software, the volume is
way to loud and in the second half
the notes are out of place and don’t
fit with the rest of it
3. Process
When making the beat I knew more
about software and the fundamentals
of how it works, I listened to a lot of
avicii and martin garrix to listen for the
beat, I did spaced kicks with a snare on
every other kick with a closed hihat in
between

4. Process
The application I used offers a way
to add notes and change the
lengths of them and the velocity of
the notes directly into the piano
roll, learned the very basics of
piano and played with what
sounded good then I re arranged
the existing notes in a different
order
5. Process
I layered the piano and the beat on top of each other
and lowered the volume of the beat to make the
piano more prominent. Changed the tempo to 130
bpm(beats per minute). I also played with using
different synths and pianos the software offers, while
searching I found a style I liked more then my original
style and I found it easier to do, because house or
EDM(electro dance music ) has a lot of different
layered tracks that play simultaneously where as lo-
fi(low fidelity) is generally music of a lower quality so
it was easier to create
6. Process
I added rain and lighting from a
sound library the software
offers, I think it adds depth to
the song and helps create a
scene
