2. Hawaii
Hawaii is an group of islands in the Pacific
Ocean, consists of 18 islands and is a state of the
U.S.A..The languages that speak the inhabitants
of the island group is the Hawaiian and English.
The welcome is always done with the "aloha“
together with offering collared flowers. The largest
island also called Hawaii and the Americans is called
the "Big Island". Its capital and largest city is
Chononoulou.

were living in huts,
which were made of
grass, wood, straw and
dried plants.

• There are 7 traditional foods:
1) Poi is a thick paste made from taro root.
2) Laulau is made with pork wrapped in layers
of taro leaves and cooked in an underground
hot rock oven for hours.
3) Kalau Pig is a pork which roasts slow so it
becomes extremely tender and retains a
remarkable smoky flavor.

4) Poke is the Hawaiian version of
Japanese sashimi (raw fish).
5) Lomi Salmon is cured with salt and diced up
along with tomatoes, onions, and normally
some chili peppers.
6)Chicken Long Rice is a combination of clear
mung bean noodles cooked in chicken soup.
7) Fruit (like Pineapple).
