the highlightsbrightenoughIthenused
the tool brightnessandcontrast.I
increasedthe contrastslightlytoexpose
the highlightsmore andtolightenthe
shadowsslightly.Ididthisbecause the
colourscheme of my magazine isred,
white andblackso the shadowsand
highlightsof thisimage reflectsit.

colourof the subject.Thiswasbecause the lightingof
the softbox hasmade him lookwashedoutandpale,
therefore Ibegantoadd red/orange hue to make him
lookerwarmerandvibrant.I didthisdue to the
connotationsof warmcoloursbeingaggressivenessand
violence therefore illustratinghischaracterof the indie
rock genre further.
WhenI increasedthe red/orange hue itbecome
too dark soI usedthe vibrance tool to give him
more colour.
The last piece of editingIdidwasby increasingthe
vibrance anddecreasingthe saturationtobalance
out the colourwithinhisface sohe doesn’tlooktoo
orange and overedited.Ialsousedthe brushtool
withGaussianblurto fade awaythe creasesin the
back drop givingme asmoothbackgroundto work
with.
