The document discusses editing an image for use in a digipak using Photoshop tools. The author chose an image they believed fit well with the digipak design. They used tools like contrast, levels, brightness, saturation, and sharpening to make the image more dramatic and polished. Specific adjustments included altering color tones and making skin appear flawless. The same editing process was applied to images throughout the digipak for consistency.
3. ADVERT
I chose this image as I believed it to be dramatic and fluent with my
digipak. I decided to utilise the tools provided to me by photoshop. I
added different layers and focused on different aspects independently of
one another. The first tool used was the contrast tool, this enabled me to
make the image appear much more dramatic and contrasted, I fitted this
to my liking. Following from this I further chose to enhance the image by
using the levels tool, here I was able to alter the colour of the image
through tones of reds, blues and yellows. I further altered the image
through playing around with different features such as the brightness,
saturation and hue. I was also able to use the sharpen tool which enabled
for my image to be slightly more crisp. I used the spot healer and blur
tool to make the sin appear more flawless and also used the lasso arc
clipping tool alter the colour of her eyes, through playing with the levels
of this I was able to create an image I was happy with.
5. DIGIPAK FRONT COVER/ GENERAL
EDITING
I chose the front page of my digipak to be the same image as my advert. This creates consistency
across my products and allows for a theme to be present throughout. As previously mentioned, the
process of editing is as follows:

The process of editing is apparent in most images used throughout my digipak and advert with slight
alterations dependent on the image, this is because these tools specifically allowed for the image I
wished to create to be successful.
