I asked this question because I wanted to find out the age
range that people are. The majority of people I asked for this
question said that they are between 13-19 years old. This is
beneficial for me as my magazine is mainly targeted at the
younger generation.

Image Masthead Coverline Colour Scheme
In my questionnaire it was clear that my strongest feature of my front cover was my
main image, then people both liked my mast head and the colour scheme I picked
second. The least votes I got for my front cover was the cover line, to improve my
cover line I may change the position or what the cover line actually says to increase
the strength of front cover.

import an image to show who actually wrote the editors letter.

Images Content Colour Scheme Questions
In my questionnaire it was clear that my strongest feature of my double page spread
was the content, then people liked my images second best. The least votes I got for my
was the questions, to improve my cover line I may change the way I word the questions
to increase the popularity vote of the questions.
8. Overall do you think my magazine covers the
overall ‘Indie’ representation?
yes
no
Overall people believed that
my magazine covered the
overall ‘Indie’ representation.
I think that my magazine
covers many aspects of the
indie music genre and
includes a lot of detailed
information about it. I believe
that my magazine will be
able to educate and attract
those who have an interest
in this particular genre and
the feedback overall will be
positive. This may help sales
rates and make people want
to buy my magazine over
and over.
9. Do you think the artist on my magazine front
cover displays the indie genre?
yes
no
The image of the artist on my
front cover displays the indie
genre. The majority of people
voted ‘yes’ it does display the
indie genre. I believe this is
true as I used an artist who
looks very ‘indie like’ and who
was dressed in clothes that
were represented as ‘indie
styled clothing’ this may
increase the amount of sales
on my music magazine as
people may buy it because of
the style and the way the
image looks on the front cover.
The main image is the most
important as it is meant to
attract the most customers.
10. Do the feature articles on my magazine
front cover appeal to you?
Ye
s
No
The features on my
magazine front cover appeal
to the majority of people. On
my front cover I included
features such as the bands
that appear inside, this in my
opinion was a good choice
because many people will
read the music’s magazines
front cover to find out what’s
inside. By including popular
bands on the first page and
including information about
them inside will increase
sales of my magazine. If the
content inside is good,
people will buy my magazine
in the future.
