2. Do you feel the colour scheme
matches the genre of the magazine?
Ten out of the ten people who filled in
my audience feedback questionnaire
felt the colour scheme did match the
indie genre of the magazine. This
shows that the colour scheme should
attract fans of the indie genre.
3. When asked what attracts them to the magazine
there were three main answers ; the bold font, the
bright colours and the images. These are the three
main points which should attract you to a magazine
therefore my magazine has successfully done that.
What attracts you to the magazine?
4. Do you feel the fonts go well with the
genre of the magazine?
8 out of the ten people I asked felt
the fonts went well with the genre of
the magazine, this shows a clear
majority feel that indie fans should be
able to easily identify the genre of
the magazine.
5. Does the overall magazine look
professional?
7 of the ten people I asked felt my
overall magazine looked
professional.
6. Is the information of the contents
page clear?
All ten felt my contents page was
set out in a clear way, this shows
the contents page has been done
quite well as the purpose is to
clearly set out all information of
the magazine in an easy and clear
way.
7. Does the double page spread fit in
with the genre of the magazine?
The majority of people thought my
double page spread did fit in with
the indie genre, this again shows my
magazine should be able to attract
the indie genre audience
successfully.
8. Do all three media products look like
they have come from the same
magazine?
The same person who felt the
double page spread did not fit in
with the indie genre felt that not
all three media products looked
like they were from the same
magazine. However the rest felt
all three share the similar theme
and could all be part of one
magazine. Making sure all three
media products fit the indie genre
is important in attracting them to
the magazine.
9. Would you pay £2.20 for this
magazine?
80% of the people I asked said
they would buy my magazine for
the price that would be charged,
this is positive as not all the
people I asked would have the
exact same interests but the
magazine has enough in it to
attract many different people
who like the indie genre. The
relatively low price in comparison
to other music magazines is a
unique selling point and gives my
magazine an advantage over the
rest.
