• Human Resources are an essential part of any
business.
• Employing the right people helps businesses to
achieve their aims and objectives.
• A firm needs to use human resources planning
(or workforce planning).
Workforce Planning
• Is the process of anticipating the current
and future demand for workers in aan
organization.
• It can be short term or long term:
• Short term: Deals with the existing and
upcoming demands of an organization.
• Long term: Looks at the human resources
needs of the business in the foreseeable
future.
