This document discusses tests that can be performed to determine the circuit parameters of an induction motor. It describes three main tests: 1) The DC test, which applies a DC voltage to determine the stator resistance and can be used on both wye- and delta-connected staters. 2) The blocked-rotor test, which applies an AC voltage with the rotor blocked to determine the magnetizing reactance and resistance parameters. 3) The no-load test, where the rotor is unblocked and allowed to run without load, which determines the magnetizing reactance and combined core losses. Diagrams of equivalent circuits are provided to analyze the test results.
