The document discusses four potential models - Isabelle, Ellie, Molly, and Francesca - for a magazine targeting a young audience. Isabelle is chosen for her young age and distinctive red hair. Ellie has a natural look and curly hair that can appear naturally glamorous. Molly is not selected as her alternative style is better suited to rock music than pop. Francesca is in the target age range and has versatile blonde hair.
2. Isabelle
◦ I have chosen to use Isabelle as one of my models because
she is young and so she will appeal to my target audience
who would be able to find her relatable.
◦ Her short red hair will also stand out and make an
impression because none of my other models have
obviously dyed hair. By using a model who has this type of
look I would be able to increase my target audience
because I would bee showcasing people with different
styles and so they would all draw in different people.
3. Ellie
◦ Ellie has a very natural look and this would make her look
approachable and relatable to my target audience and so
it would draw them to the magazine.
◦ Ellie also has naturally curly and voluminous hair which
would be useful in giving a naturally glamourous look.
◦ She is also in the age range of my target audience and so
this will encourage young people to also be successful.
4. Molly
◦ Molly was someone who I could have chosen to be a
model but I have decided not to use her. This is because
whilst her style is fun and upbeat it is a little too
alternative for her to easily connote the pop music genre. I
think that she would be better suited to being a model for
the rock music genre.
5. Francesca
◦ Francesca would be a good model to use in my magazine
because she is also in the age range of my target audience
and so this will send a good message to my audience, this
also means that she is relatable.
◦ She also has naturally blonde, wavy hair that I would be
able to straighten or curl depending on the look that I
would be aiming for.
